"As Romney left the site of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Warsaw and walked toward his motorcade parked in Pilsudski Square, reporters began shouting questions from the line where campaign staffers had told them to stay behind, prompting traveling press secretary Rick Gorka to tell a group of reporters to 'kiss my a$$' and 'shove it.'
He later apologized."
Yes, the Romney Campaign just can't hide who they really are. They ooze contempt for the press, ordinary voters, and anyone who disagrees with them. This latest embarrassment for Romney wrecks another news cycle for the campaign.
On the bright side for Romney, at least the aide did not preface his remarks with "You People"."As Romney left the site of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Warsaw and walked... more

WASHINGTON - As her presidential campaign enters a decisive phase this fall, Michele Bachmann is facing new questions about her propensity for gaffes and the recurring upheavals in the ranks of her staff and top advisers.
In interviews with the Star Tribune, six former Bachmann staffers said the sudden resignations recently of campaign manager Ed Rollins and deputy David Polyansky reflected her longstanding reluctance to trust the advice of top political handlers hired from outside of her family circle and could put her campaign in danger of foundering.
"The Achilles heel of her campaign is that when things get really tough you need some seasoned professionals," said former Minnesota GOP Party Chairman Ron Carey, who served as Bachmann's chief of staff until a falling out last year. "Her history is not to rely on outsiders, even if they have a lot more experience and savvy."

Those right-wing Fox News North newshounds in Toronto the Good thought it would be HI-larious to post publicity pix of the T.O. Mayor Rob Ford as "Chris Farley" on one of its news anchors' Facebook page. So if you click on the circumferential civic chief, his name comes up as that of the deceased comic and whisks you immediately to a Facebook official fan site set up in his honor by his two surviving brothers.

A newly appointed Tory peer has today apologised for saying changes to welfare payments would give people on benefits "every incentive" to "breed".Howard Flight told the Evening Standard: "We're going to have a system where the middle classes are discouraged from breeding because it's jolly expensive but for those on benefit there is every incentive."The new peer blames the Lib Dems for forcing David Cameron to agree to bad policies, including cutting child benefit for high earners. He later said he would like to withdraw the remark.Prime Minister David Cameron told a news conference: "I don't agree with his comments."
Cameron was in trouble himself today after it was reported that he made a joke about the Speaker of the Commons, comparing him to one of the seven dwarfs.
It was announced last week that Flight, a former MP, would become a member of the House of Lords. It is not believed that Cameron will block his peerage despite his gaffe.

Wow what a week it has been in the world of political gaffes! First out was French President Nicolas Sarkozy who told a reporter he was a paedophile when the guy asked him about curruption allegations.
Then it was Sarah Palin, no surprise there perhaps, but still - mixing up North and South Korea in a time like this makes it even scarier (but also hilarious) that she is even thinking about running for president.
And then it was Prime Minister David Cameron, comparing the speaker of the house to one of the seven dwarfs.
Below are 10 of the best political gaffes of recent times, please post your favourites in the comments!

The Telegraph claims Labour PPC Kerry McCarthy tweeted about the postal votes early. The source is from torybear and since then the tweet was removed with Kerry McCarthy apologising.
"Meanwhile, Kerry McCarthy is being quoted as saying: “It was thoughtless and I didn’t realise it was official information."-Telegraph
"@dazmando @markpack On reflection, I've deleted. It's not counting, just random exercise."-What @Kerry4MP tweeted later.
"@Kerry4MP First PVs opened in east Bristol, our sample: Lib Dem xx; Tory xx; Labour xx. #gameON!"-Telegraph

His numerous blunders, gaffes (move aside Joe Biden), and false leadership should have conservatives ducking for cover. But then again, they supported Sarah Palin didn’t they?Let’s be real here.
