NEW YORK (AP) – A New York City parent says he mistakenly sent out an e-mail about a book questioning the Holocaust to a PTA list instead of another group he belongs to.
The New York Times reports that the Jan. 16 e-mail was sent by Michael Santomauro, whose son is a third grader at P.S. 290 in Manhattan. It said: “You should read this book! It is rocking my world!”
Santomauro told the Times he realized his error after two parents complained. He apologized to them.
He said he intended the e-mail for members of a group that debates whether accounts of the Holocaust are exaggerated.
School Principal Sharon Hill wrote to the school’s parents. She said neither the school or the PTA support Santomauro’s views.

Downing Street has confirmed that papers relating to Tony Blair's meeting with the Libyan leader, Muammar Gaddafi, will not be among the documents about the Lockerbie bomber being released this afternoon.
The prime minister's spokesman said the government would publish all "relevant" correspondence relating to the release of Abdelbaset al-Megrahi, the man convicted of the Lockerbie bombing, this afternoon.
The Foreign Office and the Ministry of Justice are putting documents on their website after 2pm. In Edinburgh the Scottish government will also be releasing its own documents, probably later in the afternoon.
But the papers will not cover Blair's meetings with Gaddafi in 2004 and 2007, which paved the way for a prisoner transfer agreement between the two countries, Downing Street said today.
Today David Cameron claimed that Gordon Brown's failure to say whether or not he approved of the release of Megrahi shows that he does not have the leadership skills required of a prime minister.Writing in the Times, the Conservative leader says that having the willingness to express an opinion is "a basic requirement of leadership".
The Tories have condemned the Scottish government's decision to release Megrahi on compassionate grounds. Brown has said that he was "repulsed" by the way Megrahi received a hero's welcome when he returned to Tripoli, but the prime minister has not said whether or not he approved of the decision to grant Megrahi his liberty.
In his Times article, Cameron says: "Mr Brown should have condemned the decision to release al-Megrahi. At the very least, he should have expressed an opinion. But all we got, day after day, was a wall of silence, finally broken after a long week when Mr Brown declared that he was 'angry' and 'repulsed' at scenes in Tripoli. We all were. But that wasn't the point. People wanted to know what the prime minister thought about the decision to release him in the first place.
"Such candour is a basic requirement of leadership – a quality that once again Mr Brown has demonstrated he lacks."Downing Street has confirmed that papers relating to Tony Blair's meeting with... more

Joan Tuckruskye, A 44-year-old mother of three who acts as a Parent-Teacher Association official in Nassau, New York, has been arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a child after she was caught naked in the backseat of a parked car with a thirteen-year-old boy.
The parked, running 2008 Nissan Pathfinder behind Meadow Elementary School in Baldwin seemed suspicious to officers last Friday night. Officer tapped on fogged windows and could make out two figures inside. They noticed both of the individuals were not clothed from the waist down - either Tuckruskye or the boy were not wearing their pants that were later found on car floor.
The officers asked for identification, and the boy said he was 18. Police were skeptical about the age of the boy, who later said he was 15. Later that evening, during an examination at Nassau University Medical Center, it was determined that the boy, whom police would not name, is 13.
Police have information Tuckruskye and the boy have met several times.Joan Tuckruskye, A 44-year-old mother of three who acts as a Parent-Teacher... more

I am trying to tell mums about my web CBT PhD at a children's hospital which is now being used by mums for ADHD and other issues.
The mum's stories are very moving see below.
Applications for this system are large ranging from cancer support, needle issues, ADHD, Autism, bulling, relaxing and helping children to study etc.
I would really like to know how I can get the product better known in the UK and everywhere...
You can see more information and references at the web site: www.AnimalAgentz.com
"Each Dr Jones' Animal Agent teaches different stress-management and coping skills.
Children do not understand 'how' to relax on demand, but through playing with the web based Animal Agentz, they learn such techniques and can repeat them in stressful situations. Your child will remember the actions and behaviours of Bubbles, Yo-Yo and the other Agentz and use them when they need to remain calm"
As one mum said "If you say to a child relax it means nothing to them but if you let your child play with the Animal Agentz "fish" (breathing skills) and then say to the child what did the fish do?
Then I found him acting out the fish and becoming relaxed"
The product is free to very ill children with a doctor's note.
Regards
Mark
Awareness of Animal Agentz.
We ("I" but I have to say "we" due to the funding body) are a new company launching a web-based product based on Dr Jones PhD on Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) for children at Great Ormond's Street Hospital for Children (medical suppor/ ref on the web site) After a long period of time the product is finally "live" on-line. The support from moms has always been tremendous.
The applications for the product are wide and range from blood tests (based on research in hospitals), educational issues which include examination stress, ADHD, bullying and helping children in their everyday environment.
"This is perfect and what me and my family have been waiting years
for. My 9 yr old has A.D.H.D and presents behavioural difficulties.
His biological father rejected him a yr ago and this hasn't helped,
his self esteem is very low and finds making new friends very
stressful. The local social services tell me he needs therapy like
this but are unable to provide it! I am having to pay a private
therapist to help my son so when this comes in which I know would
benefit many parents that I email, talk to etc then I can guarantee at
least 15 sales for definite....where do I order!!!! Great idea and
very user friendly, fab idea and so much needed for the 21st century
where many children face daily struggles with little or no help and so
they suffer. I am in 100% support of this stimulating and so much
needed idea!" Mrs Garvey, East Yorkshire
"I did these exercises with my daughter; she loved them and wants to
play again." Mrs Rogers, Plymouth
"This product is excellent and would also be beneficial to children
with disorders such as ADHD. It would also be a great intro DVD for
children who are about to be admitted to hospital as there was nothing
like this about when my son had to go in for a heart op and it would
have helped him no end." Miss Gooch, Norwich
"I think it's an extremely good idea."Mrs Hirst, Eastbourne
"Whilst doing this survey my son who is 7 and a type 1 diabetic came
to watch and listen of his own accord; he really liked it." Ms Halden,
West Midlands
"Great idea as it is." Miss Hartley, Lancashire
"I looked at the video with my 6 yr old and she loved it." Mrs Reeves, Norfolk
"This would be well received in schools." Mrs McFadden, Antrim
"Responses from independent research conducted by Mum'sViews Ltd"
Note:
Reason why it has not been done before:
Dr Jones had been a child in hospital (2 years) and has developed computer games in the past.
The central worldwide market focus has been on pharmacological (drugs)
drug-based methods and most research is funded by drug companies.
The product is free to hospices etc

There Will Be Blood is a new film directed by Paul Thomas Anderson and staring Daniel Day-Lewis - my favorite director and my favorite actor. It's never a good idea to have very high expectations for a film because it's easy to be disappointed. That being said, with these two people involved, I am expecting this film to change my life because it will be so good. Can't get a higher expectation than that.
I'm the type of person who, when extremely excited to see a film and knowingly am going to see it no matter what people say, will opt not to watch any of the trailers so that I will be seeing everything for the first time when viewing the full film. (I'm a big movie nerd, so help me.) This is the case with There Will Be Blood.
Here is the trailer (that I haven't watched). Doesn't mean I don't want all of you to watch it and generate interest. You can also read a good article about it here:
