The Website Taste Predictor is a new Twitter tool that analyzes your Twitter account in order to recommend websites you would like. The project uses Twitter's OAuth authentication protocol to access your Twitter account so you don't have to enter in your username and password in order to try it out. How exactly it works, we can't say. There's no "about" page, "FAQ" or other explanation. In fact, there's not even a credit as to who made it, only a URL. But the URL is a big hint: it's hosted...The Website Taste Predictor is a new Twitter tool that analyzes your Twitter account... more

We're big fans of John Fekner, who creates environmentally focused artwork, often with a sharp edge. His Cash for Clunkers art pinpoints the wastefulness of how we use and abuse automobiles, and Warning Signs 4U2C underscores how little we've improved our stance on toxic waste. In fact, that's the point of his latest project - a revamp of a classic video he made in 1981. With disturbing sounds and visuals, it asks us how far have we not come, and why?... The greater the disparity in wealth between the very rich and everyone else, the more unstable an economy becomes . Our nation has now created a larger gap in distribution of wealth than the massive chasm that helped fuel the Great Depression. In 1928, one year before the global economic collapse, the wealthiest .001% of the U.S. population owned 892 times more than 90% of the nation’s citizens. Today, the top .001% of the U.S. population owns 976 times more than the entire bottom 90% . This...The greater the disparity in wealth between the very rich and everyone else, the more... more

Return to Binge Gamer’s MegaCon 2010 Home Page
For the first day of MegaCon, a day which usually tends to be a ‘meh’ day overall to any convention. The day when some people are in school, work, etc.. basically saving the Saturday to soak themselves in geekiness. This Friday was far different than previous MegaCon’s I have attended, as people were ready to role play as though there was a competition going on (Note: of course there was a competition, but that was on Saturday). ...Return to Binge Gamer’s MegaCon 2010 Home Page
