Have they finally lost it? Are the likes of Microsoft, Apple, Nintendo pulling ahead? Have they already lost the console-race? Or is this jumping the gun?
Personally, I love Sony's work, but sometimes it just doesn't make sense. They seem out of touch with their consumers, particularly when it comes to using proprietary formats. Anyone remember the walkman? Then came mini-discs. And Apple.
"E3's biggest loser? It's Sony. They've been lagging behind for years overall, but to lose at hardware, their strongest suit? What a pity.
Look at all three companies that define the industry. Microsoft is a software company, so Xbox has the best software and services, like Xbox Live, Zune and Windows Media Extender. Nintendo is fundamentally a games company, so they make the best games (or at least, the greatest quantity of amazing, if iterative games). Sony is a consumer electronics company, so they excel at hardware: The PlayStation 3 is defined by Blu-ray and its Cell processor; the PSP blew out the DS in terms of specs, not software. Raw hardware power.
So how the hell has Sony lost the hardware race two years running at E3? Squandering their most valuable brand, PlayStation, is a spectacular failure that doesn't bode well for a glorious return to the Sony of old."

"Some guy once sang that “people are strange, when you’re a stranger.” He’s dead now, but the words are no less true. SMT: Strange Journey is indeed strange to players unfamiliar with its mechanics or its universe, but to those of us experienced with both, it’s not strange at all but rather a wonderful mesh of dungeon crawling, role playing, and Shin Megami Tensei. However, it’s called Strange Journey for a reason. The majority of the SMT games, of which Persona and Devil Summoner are prominent examples, are set in Japan and feature young people in desperate situations. The popular and constant attributes that just about every game carry over are the ability to summon or control demons, usually fuse those demons, and use their skills to exploit enemy weaknesses. Strange Journey keeps the latter but changes up the former by throwing characters from all over the world into the coldest reaches of Antarctica.'"Some guy once sang that “people are strange, when you’re a... more

Puzzle Quest 2 takes the the elements of the first game that were loved the most -- the battles, the story, the characters -- and mixes in a great amount of depth in customization and a more accessible and appealing visual style. I looks to be yet another version of the game we love, and with these tweaks might recapture the magic of the original.Puzzle Quest 2 takes the the elements of the first game that were loved the most --... more

Rumors are spreading the web that a new DS will be unveiled at E3 this June. The story emerged after Raymond Padilla talked to game developers, who apparently mentioned a end of 2010 release date for the new DS. It is with that hint the speculation started over if the device will appear at E3.
"The DS2 is also said to have power roughly equal to the GameCube, running off an Nvidia Tegra chip, and that it would also feature an accelerometer, allowing users to control games by moving the device around, much like an iPhone."Rumors are spreading the web that a new DS will be unveiled at E3 this June.
