The two best teams in the United States of America will go head to head tonight in a battle of the titans that hasn't had an equal since ancient greek gods took the field hundreds of years ago. Let's get right down to it.
Who's winning? - THE Lakers. How could they loose, seriously. Even without Bynum they are still better than most any team in the country now that they have added Gasol to the mix.
Who's getting second place? - THE PHOENIX SUNS. with the addition of Shaq the Suns will be the best team in the West (besides the lakers) and probably better than anyone in the east. SHAQ was an awesome trade for them and anyone saying otherwise probably doesn't play for the suns and probably wears an ESPN suit. Why ESPN has roundly rejected this trade as positive is anyones guess. What you don't have to guess on is whether or not O'Neal makes this team better. The man is a born winner and has a reputation of coming to a team with other great players and getting the job done in the playoffs, think Miami. [i know you were thinking that]. Anyway these first couple of games with Shaq could be a little rough but in the end Phoenix comes out with a team of
Shaquille O'Neal (Shaaaaaaaaaqqqquuiiiiiiiilllllllle O'Neeeeeeeeeaaaaaal = one of the best starting 5 announced names of all time)
Amare S
Steve Nash
Grant Hill
Raja Bell
Diaw
Barbosa
Jeesh. That is a line up that just has no room for a guy like Marion. So today, it's the Lakers but the Suns are going to be deadly in the playoffs. Enjoy the show tonight. Lakers by 9-10. The two best teams in the United States of America will go head to head tonight in a... more

In what has to be the game of weekend, WSU will walk into Pauley Pavillion tomorrow in a Pac 10 showcase showdown that makes me forget there is playoff football happening. So lets get down to business...
Who's winning this game? Easy, it has to be the Washington State Cougars by at least 1 point. Something just feels good about this being the year that WSU finally gets their second or third ever against UCLA in that storied building. I think Baynes will have a big game but so will Love. I think Low will be a big factor and remind a lot of people of what he can do offensively. Collison and Luc being In what has to be the game of weekend, WSU will walk into Pauley Pavillion tomorrow in... more

Oh how the mighty have fallen. Pac-10 upstart UCLA pasted a 83-52 whipping on perennial basketball powerhouse Youngstown State today. Just a few years ago, no one would have thought the mighty denizens of Beeghly Center could have been embarrassed so badly by a West Coast school. What would Tillman Bevely think? Oh how the mighty have fallen. Pac-10 upstart UCLA pasted a 83-52 whipping on... more
