Homies Unidos conducts a weekly tattoo removal program. Participation in the program is free, but patients must participate in a 12-week session of the Epiphany Project or conduct an equivalent amount of community service hours within Homies Unidos. Priority is given to patients with highly visible tattoos, eg. on the neck, face, or hands and woman how have experience domestic violence.

A Georgia police department decided it would be a good idea to make a mock Tattoo parlor to help bust gangs. These cops decked out the pallor to look legit and it worked...
"Business was slow at first, but then things took off. Gang members soon began dropping in to sell guns, drugs and even stolen cars, authorities said. Every transaction was recorded by surveillance cameras around the store."
