Just in case you forgot that Christmas occurs on the same date each year (Dec. 25), here are some remarkably unreadable GOP political memoirs. Just released in time to be unavailable for Christmas day, the authors include
•the dark luminaries like Dick Cheney, Newt Gingrich, Eric Cantor, and John Boehner,
•the brightly lit up loonies like Michele Bachmann, Rick Perry, and Herman Cain,
•and the darkly luminescent brightly shining nutty as fruit cake Rick Santorum,
•Oh, and a certain former Presidential decider as well, with a Mitt Romney thrown in for old time's sake.
All can be delivered to your least favorite friends of acquaintances, each can be had for under $1.99 (as of this writing) from book remainder resellers everywhere!

We hear that ebooks are outselling paper all the time but can a author with a common name really get noticed? What if we rethink this? It must still take a lot of money for advertising to make it. So, here we are on current, do any of you really click the links? Do any of you read on a Kindle? This is an experiment. We shall see what happens.

From TechnoBuffalo
It’s pretty safe to say that when companies put out new tech products with innovative designs there are bound to be a few annoying issues. This was evident when Apple released the iPhone 4 with a new antenna design. The antenna, built into the stainless steal frame is super cool, but as we know from “antennagate”, this apparently causes some reception problems. We now know using a case alleviates this problem and Apple ran their free case program for two months this summer, providing a free case to every iPhone 4 owner.
Ironically, Amazon is having a similar problem with it’s covers made for the Kindle 3 Wi-Fi models. The company has been contacted by customers stating that when using the cover, which retails for$34.99- http://www.amazon.com/Kindle-Leather-Orange-Display-Generation/dp/B003DZ1648/ref=/ref=cm_cd_t_pb_ The Kindle “freezes up and loses track of pages.” After some searching online, this issue has also been discussed in the company’s online forums and should be noted, the malfunction only affects the non-lighted version of the cover. This malfunctioning cover is still being sold.
Drew Herdener, a spokesperson for Amazon said in an email that “engineers are looking into the matter”, but would not disclose how many units are affected. Subsequently, Amazon posted information on their blog about the problem stating “…we will be pleased to replace it for free or accept a return for a full refund, no matter when the cover was purchased.” So if you have purchased one of these covers for your Kindle 3 Wi-Fi unit, contact Amazon for return instructions.
I find it amusing that two respected Fortune 500 companies are dealing with malfunctions, however slight they may be, on two of the hottest tech gadgets this decade. The iPhone 4 doesn’t work well without a case, and the Kindle 3 doesn’t work well with one. Maybe the Kindle owners could send their cases to iPhone 4 owners in a show of solidarity.
If you have a Kindle 3 Wi-Fi only model please let us know if you have had any issues while using the the non-lighted cover?

E-readers like the Kindle and Nook were all the rage this holiday season, but few of these paperless marvels can claim they're powered by the sun like Toshiba's newest offering.
Unveiled on Christmas Day in Japan, the "Biblio Leaf" features front-mounted solar panels that juice up the onboard battery. Additionally, the reader offers a 6-inch e-ink display, Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity, and 2GB of memory which can be expanded via a microSD card. Unfortunately, it might be a while until you can get your hands on it.
