So the Chicago Cubs have made it to the play-offs. Woo Hoo! So of course our "windy city" politicians have to come up with some stupid rule that makes no sense. Due to concerns of rowdy fans, Mayor Daley has proposed an optional 1 hour alcohol sales ban after the 7th inning. Not only in the stadium, but all the surrounding Wrigleyville bars as well. It is indeed optional, but the city has threatened not to renew liquor licenses of area bars that do not stop their liquor sales after the 7th.
