George Michael is apparently a massive EastEnders fan. Heather out of EastEnders is a massive George Michael fan....... soooooo put the two together and that means news of a possible cameo appearance by Mr Michael in the popular soap.
The 45-year-old singer has made no secret of the fact that he is a huge fan of the BBC1 soap and would love to appear in an episode.
According to insiders, an upcoming storyline will see Albert Square's obsessed George Michael fan, Heather (played by Cheryl Ferguson) discover that George is back in London following a tour.
Thus, she decides to go in search of her heart-throb along with best friend Shirley Carter (actress Linda Henry) to help her find the pop legend before ending up on the shocked star's doorstep.
However, the BBC are remaining tight lipped about this, so I guess we'll have to wait and see.

From next week, the BBC's going to let people watch shows like EastEnders, Top Gear and Never Mind The Buzzcocks live online.
According to the BBC news report, "BBC One and BBC Two will be streamed live, - just as BBC Three, BBC Four, CBBC, CBeebies and BBC News are already broadcast on their channel websites."
As well as that, if you miss a show, you'll still be able to catch up with it on the iPlayer for up to a week after it aired.

Apparently us Brits aren't all that great when it comes to knowing our own country's national anthem, as more of us recognise the theme tune to EastEnders than God Save the Queen.
The poll, conducted by the Performing Rights Society (PRS) saw EastEnders come in as the most recognisable tune, taking 37% of the vote, followed by 36% who put the national anthem as their second most recognisable tune, with Match of the Day and Corrie not far behind.
Ellis Rich, Chairman of PRS said: "Music is part of our daily lives, and embedded within British culture. We are so lucky that composers and songwriters can create iconic music which we all remember and love."
Maybe they should have God Save the Queen as EastEnders theme tune, I bet Dot Branning would love it...

Fresh from the shocking recent revelation that the brother of former England footballer Stuart Pearce is an active member of the British National Party, there is worrying news that the party can now boast another relative of a national treasure within its unseemly ranks.
To the noise of collective jaw-dropping among EastEnders fans everywhere, it transpires Angela Reid, the youngest daughter of the late but much-loved stand-up Mike Reid, was due to stand on behalf of the BNP as a candidate at next month's council by-election in Braintree, Essex. The election has come up after the Conservative councillor Bill Rose recently decided to stand down.
Reid was apparently all set to contest the seat until the weekend, when I'm told she decided to withdraw from the race for "personal reasons".
"She would have been an excellent candidate for us and it's a terrible shame that she won't be running this time but we've got plenty of candidates for the future elsewhere," says a BNP spokesman, hastily adding that her U-turn had nothing to do with any political misgivings she may be feeling.
"Not at all, she is 100 per cent behind the party," he insisted. "Her withdrawal is purely personal.
"In fact, she is one of our loyalist members and strongest supporters."
For all their words of support, party activists must secretly be seething.
Since Reid's withdrawal has occurred after the deadline for candidate applications, the party will now not be able to run a replacement.

Cambridge University has asked script-writers of popular soaps such as Coronation Street and EastEnders to give it a plug to help dissolve its elitist image. They hope that being featured in the soaps' plotlines will incourage more state-educated students to apply to the uni and show they are "contemporary and modern ... and interested in the best students,"
Other programmes that have been approached include Emmerdale, Top Gear and Doctor Who.Cambridge University has asked script-writers of popular soaps such as Coronation... more

The canine actor who plays Wellard in the BBC One's EastEnders is to retire from the show, it has been announced. Viewers will see Wellard killed off later this year. The Belgium shepherd, a bitch called Kyte, has featured in the soap for 14 years.
Wellard has, in fact, been played by three different dogs from the same family - Kyte, her mother and grandma. Wellard arrived in Walford in 1994 when Robbie Jackson, played by Dean Gaffney, found him wandering the streets. The canine actor who plays Wellard in the BBC One's EastEnders is to retire from... more

The pair apparently dined at Nobu together, and in Hollywood, dining at Nobu is practically as serious as it gets! Wilson reportedly likes the fact that the Brit star of Bionic Woman hasn't become one of the plastic hollybots and that she still looks like herself, and like a real person. I have to agree on that account: real people are so cool!, plastic people, not so cool. The pair apparently dined at Nobu together, and in Hollywood, dining at Nobu is... more
