A four-year-old boy has been caught on camera stealing jewels from a display cabinet. The boy stole the items as his mother distracted the staff at a jewellery store in the Mexican city of Oaxaca. The mother and son's cunning heist is nearly ruined when the boy falls over, but the woman helps him up and his stash stays hidden.A few seconds later he snatches some more jewellery from a display cabinet at the front of the store. The woman then tells shop workers her car is illegally parked, and the thrifty pair quickly leave hand in hand.Twenty minutes after their departure, staff noticed around £250 ($400) worth of merchandise missing.Saleswoman Ana Lilia Hernandez said they did not suspect the pair until the store owner saw the theft on the store's security video. She said: "We never suspected the boy and the lady, because the lady came with a boy who was a bit naughty but that's it."He was walking back and forth but we never suspected it was that customer."The store owner has reported the crime but police have yet to make an arrest in the case.

Poverty in Africa is said to have a woman's face. BeadforLife is trying to change that by empowering women. In Uganda women turn recycled paper into beautiful colourful jewellery. The beads become income, shelter and hope. Most of the women were displaced from Northern Ugandan because of the war between the LRA and the Ugandan government. Some are HIV/AIDS positive and are the sole provider for their extended families. And for the majority this is the first time they're making money for themselves. The women have pulled themselves out of poverty and some even own small businesses and are homeowners. To date the beads have built a village home to 132 families and growing...have impacted the lives of thousands and have changed generations to come. www.tiatv.comPoverty in Africa is said to have a woman's face. Hey, Hey, Hey! It’s “Fashion Friday’s!” from www.oneof365.com” This magazine editor has a fun and eclectic wardrobe that she wants to share with you. You get to look at what she’s chosen from her closet this week (fun finds from London, vintage, markets from the globe, designers…) and hear a little history about the brands, how she came about finding the item and a fun tale or two about how she’s gotten her neat duds. She is a fun read and her blog is so eclectic, she always is coming up with something new (though “Fashion Fridays!” is a weekly staple).
This week is all about trying to keep cool in the hot L.A. weather! A strapless dress and to die for citrus yellow Ferragamo shoes make the outfit perfect. Enjoy! Great pictures and very humorous and captions too! Like it or love it---the outfit isn’t what matters…it’s about having fun on Friday with Fashion!Hey, Hey, Hey! It’s “Fashion Friday’s!” from... more

The largest hoard of Anglo-Saxon gold ever found has been unearthed on farmland in Staffordshire by a metal detector enthusiast, archaeologists revealed today.
Terry Herbert, 55, from Burntwood, came across the huge treasure estimated to be worth more than £1 million as he searched a field near his home. The exact location of the discovery has not been disclosed but it is understood to be near the Lichfield border in South Staffordshire, in what was once the independent Anglo-Saxon kingdom of Mercia.
Experts said that the collection of more than 1,500 military artefacts, including helmet, sword pommel and sword hilt ornaments possibly looted on the field of battle 1,400 years by a victorious warlord, may have belonged to Saxon royalty.
The hoard contains around 5kg of gold and 2.5kg of silver, far bigger than previous finds such as the Snettisham hoards. Some of it was lying in the open on top of the ploughed field. The largest hoard of Anglo-Saxon gold ever found has been unearthed on farmland in... more

This week is all about being a class act but doing it chicly! The look is really classic with fine details. You could wear this to a tea, a girly event, but you’d stand out for having a great cut, or fine detailing. There is an Elizabeth & James jacket to die for and a Nicole Farhi skirt that looks like a painting. Really stunning pieces.
Enjoy! Great pictures, very humorous and captions too!

This week is all about being a cocktail party girl! The look is subtle in color so she doesn’t upstage her host, but fantastic in cut with one outstanding piece so she can get the conversation going over a great martini (which the blogger even gives you a special recipe for). Kurt Geiger’s that have a platform that are dead sexy, an H&M skirt that is tres Carrie Bradshaw—the look is affordable, adorable and sleek all at the same time.
Enjoy! Great pictures, very humorous, a poll to vote for your favorite piece and captions too!
