Some important questions to ponder and thoughts to consider:
0:31 - That has to be the least judgmental look i've ever seen.
0:43 - Only been arrested two times? Oh that's like nothing.
0:47 - Listen for it from the audience: "Two times, only two times?"
1:45 - Possibly the worst close up in the history of television.
1:58 - Don't get all defensive now. I mean, if you took care of your child for like a year and stuff, you deserve to go out and party. Seriously.
2:10 - Not on welfare? Well that's one bet I lost.
2:18 - Take note: Avoiding the question is always the best defense.
2:49 - Ricki's look of concern. Do I smell Oscar?
3:12 - Those nails are awesome. Totally awesome.
3:26 - Someone get Ricki a cough drop.
3:39 - OMG her name is Dedosha. Sweeeeeeeet.
3:45 - Let's have a round of applause for a 19-year-old mother of two. Thanks.
4:38 - Valid question.
4:53 - That fat chick blocks out about three or four different people in the audience. And no, i'm not talking about Ricki.
5:34 - Does "Ricki Lake" have the fattest audience or what?
5:45 - Getting the last word in always means you've won an argument. Bonus points if you deflect attention onto someone else.
5:55 - Yeah she's talking to you.
Doesn't every 1-year-old need nothing but the finest...like gold and diamonds?
5:53 "You knew you was under age when you laid down and got twerked?" Wow, I always wanted to use that in a sentence, but didn't know when there would ever be an appropriate time. Some important questions to ponder and thoughts to consider:

Birth: it's a miracle. A rite of passage. A natural part of life. But more than anything, birth is a business. Compelled to find answers after a disappointing birth experience with her first child, actress Ricki Lake recruits filmmaker Abby Epstein to examine and question the way American women have babies. The film interlaces intimate birth stories with surprising historical, political and scientific insights and shocking statistics about the current maternity care system. When director Epstein discovers she is pregnant during the making of the film, the journey becomes even more personal. Should most births be viewed as a natural life process, or should every delivery be treated as a potentially catastrophic medical emergency?Birth: it's a miracle. A rite of passage. A natural part of life. But more than... more
