Andre 3000 [click to read] has never been the type to toot his own horn. So although his lyrical prowess has caused many to put his sparse verses on a pedestal, Andre has met the high acclaim with a cold shoulder.
“Man, I really appreciate that people appreciate what I do, but I don't like that type of pressure,” Andre 3000 told MTV recently.
He continued, “I hate it, to be honest. ... I cannot save no whole rap game. I mean, the rap game has to save itself. Everybody's saving it. People like Lil Wayne is saving it. He's bringing energy to it. You cannot put that all on one

Arguably one of the greatest groups of all-time never seems to have a fault. Sure, you may have thought that Idlewild was a tripped-out prohibition tale of musical fancy and that its soundtrack was their weakest to date, but face it – you can’t stop the brothers from the A from speaking how they feel. And when success gets to be too commonplace, it’s only right for us, the media and you, the fans – to throw salt in their game.
Yet, still stand OutKast – more succinctly – Antwan “Big Boi” Patton. Daddy Fat Sacks tried to tell y’all that he was coming when he dropped Speakerboxx. But to no avail, the false word was that the duo was breaking up, that Andre 3000 was outshining his lyrical partner and friend since high school.
Whatever you may think or say, Big Boi and OutKast have been about going against the grain and come this October, General Patton will lead his musical brigade – Sir Luscious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty – into stores, much to the dismay of any hater.
Big Boi sits down with HipHopDX to talk about his latest album, why these lists don’t mean shit and why this “knight in rhyming armor” is not disbanding OutKast anytime soon.

After a three year feud of not speaking, subliminal and overt insults and an alleged physical confrontation, Outkast's Big Boi and his former artist Killer Mike have reconciled.
Atlanta's Maurice G. Garland, reported on the meeting firsthand. It seems both artists were encouraged to resolve the simmering conflict at the urging of close family members and a nasty bout of Atlanta weather.

Andre 3000 has revealed detail of his Benjamin Bixby clothing line. The line consists of 70 items of clothing inspired by US prep style and college football from the 1930's.
"The clothes, described by the hip-hop star as ‘rebel gentleman’ or ‘classic spontaneity’, will be available in New York’s upmarket Barney's department store."
If the line is anything like how he dresses, it's going to be quite an interesting line.
