Chris Evans is one step closer to the role of Captain America.
Sources tell us the actor, who once donned superhero garb in two "Fantastic Four" movies, has been offered the role of Captain America.
Marvel has not confirmed the development and CAA, which reps the actor, declined to comment.
Evans' offer would include starring in up to three "America" movies plus "The Avengers" movies and appearances in several other Marvel movies. While an offer to star in "America" may seem like something you don't have to mull over too long, one possible complication is that Evans is committed to co-starring in the Anna Faris romantic comedy "What's Your Number?" Marvel Studios has zeroed in on Hugo Weaving to play the villainous Red Skull in “Captain America.”
Joe Johnston is directing the movie, which remains in search of the actor to play Steve Rogers, Captain America’s alter ego.
In the Marvel comics, Red Skull has been Captain America’s archenemy since 1941, when he engaged in espionage and sabotage as Hitler’s right-hand man. In his final battle with the superhero, he was buried under the rubble of a bombed building but — as would occur later with Captain America — fell into a state of suspended animation. Both were revived in modern times.
The character was the villain in the low-budget 1990 “Captain America” movie.
When news first came in that Only Fools & Horses was going to return with the characters as teenagers, people wondered who'd be able to carry of the role of Del Boy. Well it's gone to 22 year old James Buckley (you'll know him if you watch The Inbetweeners on Channel 4)
Nicholas Lyndhurst is also going to be on board and will play Freddie "The Frog" Robdal, rumoured to be Rodney's biological dad.

Ian McShane is in talks to play the villain in Rob Marshall’s Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, the fourth installment of the Disney theme park ride turned movie franchise. McShane will play Edward Teach, better known as the legendary pirate Blackbeard, a notorious black-bearded pirate who operated around the West Indies and the eastern coast of the American colonies during the early 1700s, and famously piloted the ship Queen Anne’s Revenge.
Screenwriter Kyle Ward has revealed on his Twitter account that Jamie Foxx has signed to play Lynch in Lionsgate's video game adaptation, Kane & Lynch.
To be directed by Simon Crane, the film is an adaptation of the Eidos Entertainment video game "Kane & Lynch: Dead Men."
Bruce Willis was previously attached to play Adam "Kane" Marcus, a mercenary who makes an unlikely alliance with the schizophrenic killer named James Lynch. The duo is forced on a mission to retrieve a stolen microchip.

With the early summer start date for Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides sailing ever closer, casting directors are feverishly trying to fill out their cast. Some key roles have already been filled by the obvious players --Johnny Depp and Geoffrey Rush-- as well as newcomers to the series Ian McShane and Penelope Cruz.
But what if you need to fill a scene with scantily clad women showing off their bodacious breasts? Well send out a casting call of course. Moviehole got their hands on a casting breakdown recently shipped out to agencies in hopes of landing some ladies who will wear the film's extensive wardrobe better than others. The call reads as follows:
Beautiful Female Fit Models. Must be 5'7-5'8, Size 4 or 6 - NO BIGGER OR SMALLER. Age 18-25. Must have a lean dancer body. MUST have real breasts. Do not submit if you have implants. This is a show and tell of costumes with the director and the producers. Plan on an entire day of trying on clothes and being photographed.
Professional Dancers who are Swimmers. Females ONLY. Age 18-30. All ethnicities. YOU MUST have an extensive dance/swimming resume. We will be shooting in Hawaii.
