Steve Jobs is building a 150 acre compound in Cupertino California to house his 12,000 iTroops for the coming Applegeddon, and there's precisely not a single damned thing that you or any god being to which you have pledged your eternal soul can do about it.
The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing people that getting a discount by signing a two year contract agreement was ever a discount at all...
"iLand" as it will have come to be known to the scattered future rebels fighters of "iYear 41", has been presented to the Cupertino City Council as a new state of the art, environmentally friendly, self sufficient headquarters for Apple Inc. and in a city like Cupertino, where the only form of entertainment is sitting around and watching each other slowly die, this is surely spectacular news.
The plan is being welcomed with open arms by the Mayor, Gilbert Wong, who after being unplugged and booted up said in a statement that Cupertino is excited that Apple is moving forward with a new campus. "We know that we will be looking at a state-of-the-art facility and all the challenges and opportunities that go along with that," the Wong mark IV transmitted to media outlets via his built in wireless Airport card before once again powering down and being plugged back into the wall.
The Tron data disk shaped building sitting on 150 acres of land (that Emperor Jobs absorbed into his own essence after beheading Bill Hewlett and David Packard in a mountain top sword fight filled with lightning and magic) will be four stories tall, with an additional four floors of subterranean "parking" and will be able to generate it's own power. "I think what we're going to end up doing is making the energy center our primary source of power, because we can generate power with natural gas and other ways that can be cleaner and cheaper, and use the grid as our backup," Jobs said.
When asked why the Emperor chose to use air quotes when referring to the lower levels as "parking" he told the petulant upstart council member that he would "see for himself" before firing his Matter Disassembler eye beam iBeams, seemingly vaporizing the man in question and filling the otherwise silent council chambers with his thunderous, mirthless laughter.
"It's a little like a spaceship landed." Jobs joked about the proposed design to the council, eliciting a mandatory response of howling laughter from the remaining un-banished council members at the prodding of the Emperor's elite guard. Like a "spaceship" has "landed", why, such a notion couldn't be further from the truth! Spaceships are the thing of fantasy and children's stories. Sure, it has the look of a space craft from science fiction, but that's simply because the Emperor, in his limitless wisdom and flair for dramatic, poignant imagery has simply chosen a figure which represents the endless, seamless shape of the infinite, while at the same time, in employing a design with no corners he is emphasizing to his enemies that there are no corners where you can hide, no shadows to protect you from his all seeing gaze. Spaceship? That makes him laugh every time.
In fact, what the Jobs has here is not a vehicle in which to travel through space at all but instead a transdimentional focal singularity generator to bring space to him. It is a bridge, as it were, to all known realities, from which Emperor Jobs can launch his troops on endless conquests of the infinity of potential dimensional planes. And it certainly hasn't "landed", that's just preposterous. No, it's actually been there for decades. Only now as its construction has been completed in the "Void-Space" between dimensions will the new headquarters begin phasing into this plane of existence. See, nothing so fantastical as "a spaceship landed".
Plans are expected to be submitted to and approved by the Apple implanted iPoliticians on the Cupertino City Council by 2012 and iLand is expected to fully materialize on this plane of existence and be ready for stage seven of Apple's trans-galactic conquest operation by sometime in 2015.
Of course the new iLand 2, which will be 13% larger, only two stories thick and fully equipped with an extra 3.8 million cameras is expected to be completed six months later.

Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele on Friday fired RNC finance director Rob Bickhart and deputy finance director Debbie LeHardy, both of whom were tied to embarrassing payments made by the party committee.
Bickhart will be replaced by Mary Heitman, a former finance director for the Republican Governors Association. In a statement, obtained by POLITICO, Steele said Heitman's "depth of experience in both the private sector and political field will be a tremendous asset to the RNC."
The departures are the latest in a broad shake-up of the committee since POLITICO disclosed in February a breach between Steele and major Republican donors over the committee's spending on private jets, limousines and other expenses. Their anger was only exacerbated by the disclosure that the RNC – under Bickhart’s authority - had reimbursed a donor for taking a group to Voyeur, a bondage-themed club in West Hollywood.
In the immediate aftermath of the visit, first reported by The Daily Caller, the young aide who directed the RNC’s Young Eagles program for young donors and put in the reimbursement, was fired. Since then, Steele has also replaced his chief of staff, his spokesman, and parted ways with a media consultant who had worked with him in his 2006 Senate race in Maryland.
But Steele's decision to force out a low-level aide rather than Bickhart continued to grate on donors and RNC committee members. Randy Pullen, the RNC treasurer, initiated an audit of the party books that found "no material weaknesses in accounting controls" but several "significant deficiencies."
Specifically, Pullen concluded that Bickhart may never have reviewed the night club reimbursement paperwork — and someone else may have put his signature on the it to authorize the payment. In addition, Pullen noted that the Pennsylvania political consulting firm that Bickhart owns, eCapitol Direct, was on track to collect more than $250,000 for RNC fundraising work that lacked adequate performance standards. "This contract should be cancelled," Pullen wrote.
Beyond the payments to his firm, Bickhart was receiving an annual salary of $196,000, and he was allowed to split his time between the RNC headquarters and his suburban Philadelphia offices, which RNC sources have said resulted in spotty supervision and leadership in the finance department.
Bickhart also had come under fire recently for a fundraising presentation disclosed by POLITICO that outlined the RNC’s plans to capitalize on “fear” of President Barack Obama and that featured images depicting Obama as the Joker from "Batman."

Lexington City Council Members,
By now most of you probably know who I am and some of you have known me for years. However, some of you may not know the details of my situation and why I have ‘called out’ certain council members.
In 1999, after years of investigating escort agencies that were interfering with my legitimate business, I landed a treasure trove of information when Deborah Wardlaw called me. Deborah had figured out that I was investigating the agencies and the officers that had been extorting them and allowing them to continue unabated. We talked and I agreed to leave her out of any of my planned lawsuits or criminal charges if she agreed to fill me in on the information I was seeking. I obtained lots of interesting information from her and was able to follow up by getting recordings, video and documents to confirm her accusations. Not long after this my phones were tapped and I was being put under surveillance.
Months passed and the city starting talking about the escort ordinance. Deborah was upset and didn’t think the ordinance was legal nor fair. You see, she didn’t want to pay extortion and have to deal with the fees and rules under the ordinance. She called and wanted me to go in on an attorney, I explained that I wasn’t in that business and didn’t see the need but wished her luck. She then kept in touch. The further the ordinance went the more upset she got. She informed me that she was going to ‘out’ the cops because she wasn’t going to do both the cops and the ordinance. She had been threatened by some officers over this. I told her to be careful and about a week later I turned on the TV and saw that she had been murdered.
I began recording all of my calls and even when I went out when the phone taps began. Luckily, I had recorded Deborah. I have gone to Margaret Kannensohn and Internal Affairs almost immediately and over the past ten years have sent letters and made calls to almost everyone else. I have a recording of Deborah clearly talking about her fears among much other evidence in her case. The police have no interest in pursuing this path of investigation. Imagine that. The officers she accused, some of them, were placed on the case to investigate it. ???
Almost immediately after the murder my phone taps and surveillance turned into outright harassment and false arrests and charges. During those false arrests and charges for a ten year period of time Margaret Kannensohn held a summons for a child support case for me. Attempts to serve the document have been falsified on the paperwork and, problematic for her office, happen to have been on days that I was falsely arrested for something else or was currently in their jail on a false arrest. According to the County Attorney’s office this would be impossible since in 1997 they adopted a system by which the summons would have showed up on the officer’s computer, the jail’s computer, the dispatcher’s computer and anywhere else connected to the system and would have been known and served while I was being arrested for everything else. Subsequently, the case is still in court and will be included in a long list of civil rights violations I plan to file. The worst part is I still have not met nor had any contact with my daughter who is now 13 years old in her entire life because my file was not officially meddled with by Margaret Kannensohn or taken home to be worked on because her ‘sovereign immunity’ while being sued for this by her own staff says so.
Now, the county attorney wants money from me for all of the years that I was deprived of any contact with my daughter. Mind you, they want back pay and previous insurance, medical costs, dental work, child care and more . I missed the first bus ride, the first bruise, bug bite, A+, B-, lost tooth and the right to have any influence on her life whatsoever. Yet, somehow, hiding my file while prosecuting me over and over for having information implicating police officers in a murder gives them the right to ask me for money.
I had been fighting this corruption, literally dodging bullets and trying to get Deborah’s murder solved for 9 years when I was served with this. THIS, was going absolutely too far. I have had enough and I’m not going to take it anymore.
I began working harder than ever before documenting evidence, investigating officers, council-members and anyone who was avoiding investigating these officers or giving me the runaround. That’s when I decided that I was going to make it the next few government employees asked responsibility to do something about it. Besides, it is their job anyway. Instead of the runaround, I would demand that they call the people they want me to call and report their findings to me. I wanted to end the political banter that keeps everything from getting done in this country and on this case specifically.
That is when I contacted Chuck Ellinger and Stan Lee. Stan Lee was too busy working on a bill to make cat abuse equal to dog abuse when I first contacted him. The next time around, well, he decided that Deborah’s profession didn’t sit well with his Family Values political stance. Too bad he forgot the story of Jesus and the throwing of stones; also a prostitute.
Chuck Ellinger, well he tried the same old pass me around to the same old people that I had been passed around to in the past. So, I personally hold Chuck responsible for looking into these recordings and at least ordering an investigation into the ballistics of the officers mentioned to the one taken from the murder. Yes, Deborah had a checkered past and I had looked down upon her while investigating the escorts. After we had talked for months I realized that she was a mother, a grandmother, a person, a human and equal to myself. Yes, equal to the rest of us no matter her profession. I realized that her murder and death deserved to be solved. Her family deserved closure and the officers, if guilty, need punished. Are all of your closets clean? Jesus said, “He who is without sin should cast the first stone”. Would you be the first to cast a stone at Deborah? By ignoring the evidence in her murder you are doing just that.
I now ask the entire council: Will you ask for an investigation into the officers mentioned by Deborah Wardlaw just approximately one week before her murder? Will you lay down the stones of denial and accusation; reflect on your own skeletons in your own closets and give Deborah Wardlaw the respect she deserves as a human being equal to yourselves? I hope the lesson taught to Ellinger can be taken with him throughout his career to remind him that we all have our faults. I would hope that Mr. Ellinger would want the same respect given to Deborah Wardlaw as would be given to himself. How about the rest of you?
I have already asked for Mr. Ellinger to give a response to this by this evening at 5 PM just prior to the debate on Harrodsburg Rd. at 6 PM through the Barefoot and Progressive blog. This debate will take place at a church, conveniently, because we may be teaching more Bible lessons tonight if the first time around didn’t get absorbed adequately.
I cannot see any reason why the recorded voice of a murdered woman naming people who had recently threatened her life would not be investigated except for the fact that she named police officers. If there is some other reason that my years of unabashed efforts to get this done have fallen on deaf ears then please respond with that reason. Otherwise, I look forward to working with the council presenting my evidence as soon as possible.
In Liberty,
Christopher Hignite

Polling cards issued by Birmingham City Council spelt the name of the city wrong.
Last week they sent out cards with last years election date printed on only to follow up their mistake but spelling the name of their own city wrong.
A second set of polling cards later arrived on doormats with the correct deadline for this year's local election of April 29, 2010 - but missing the 'h' in Birmingham.
A list of instructions also stated: "Make it is not left where someone else can pick it up" - leaving out the word "sure".

City Council Candidate Runs to Expose Corruption and Murder As Documented!
Please go to the website link to view the videos mentioned in the following article:
From his campaign site's home page:
Who is Christopher Alan Hignite? Why should you vote for Christopher Alan Hignite?
Let's start by talking about who and what Christopher is not from Christopher's voice!
I'm not sure what that means, but I'm all ears!
Wait, before we go further, I must share the header pic. I'm not sure who these frightening stock photo people are, and why there is only a small blurry picture of the candidate. But we have a lot of ground to cover, so let's just move on.
undefinedOK, let's get back to who Christopher Hignite is:
I am not a politician and have no interest in becoming one. I am not tall. I don't have parents in politics. I don't have a Hollywood smile. I am not rich and have no interest in becoming rich. I am not interested in making cozy connections inherent in today's politics. I don't take money from corporate interests that will demand I vote in their interests.
Fair enough. So we have kind of a grassroots populist thing going? I'm down with that...
I am not a criminal even though some would have you believe that I am.
...(head turns) what's that?
I am not going to let murderers get a pass just because they wear a badge.
Come again?
Please read on in the following pages to find out why I decided to run for Council at Large this year. You will discover an intriguing story of the American Dream destroyed by corruption.
****
Yes, read on to find out more about my story, your story, Deborah Wardlaw's murder, government corruption and how to stop it.
Alrighty then.
So... this is what Christopher is talking about:
Mr. Hignite claims that his knowledge of this murder is why Lexington police constant follow, harrass and arrest him. He has many videos on the matter here.
He also asks:
WHYWHYWHYWHYWHYWHYWHYWHYWHYWHYWHYWHYWHY.........................?
I've been asking that for years.
Also, there is this:
Let me sum up by reminding everyone that six candidates will make it through the primary to the general for the 3 available LFUCG At-Large seats.
It's still early, but as of now I'm rooting for Christopher Hignite to be one of those 6, so we can hear his unique brand of populism over the next 9 months.
UPDATE: BONUS FOOTAGE! (be sure to keep watching until you hit the 3:27 mark. That's the kicker.)City Council Candidate Runs to Expose Corruption and Murder As Documented!

"It may seem counterintuitive at a time of local belt-tightening in the midst of a worldwide recession, but when Toronto city councillors passed the city's annual budget this week, they actually increased spending on culture.
Specifically, the $45 million budget for the Community Partnership and Investment Program – which brings arts into neighbourhoods across the city and gives hope and opportunity to young people living hardscrabble lives – is up 2 per cent.
Culture spending in the $8.7 billion budget also continued to support a range of cultural institutions both large and small, from the National Ballet of Canada to Arts Scarborough.
Surprisingly, at a time of global uncertainty and local anxiety, no one on council raised any major objections to spending more than $64 million to ensure the city's cultural infrastructure remains alive and well.
Councillor Karen Stintz, considered a member of city council's small "c" conservative faction, summed up why, in her view, proposals for the culture portion of the budget were approved.
"When we talk about the National Ballet and TIFF (Toronto International Film Festival), I actually see them as investments in the local economy because they have economic spinoffs that are beneficial for the community at large," she said.""It may seem counterintuitive at a time of local belt-tightening in the midst of... more

What happens when someone dies but there's no one to bury them? Thousands of people are buried every year by their local councils, usually because they have no known family. Michael Disney is one such example. Homeless and a heroin addict, Disney was found dead in a park in Exeter. He was 30 years old and had no known relatives. His funeral was attended by a handful of friends, but mostely by council members who were paid to attend. The burial sites for people like Disney comprise of multiple graves paid for by the government. Disney's grave will ultimately hold three other bodies. The Institute of Cemetery and Crematorium Management said most council funerals will include a hearse, a casket, and professional mourner to lead the ceremony, running a cost of about £2,800.What happens when someone dies but there's no one to bury them? Santa Monica has a message for panhandlers on the Third Street Promenade: Stand up, please.
If you're going to ask for cheeseburgers or spare change -- or sell cookies (and you know who you are) -- don't do it while resting on one of the public chairs or benches.
That goes for you, Mr. Greenpeace Advocate. And you too, little Miss Girl Scout.
Having restricted, to some degree, where homeless people can eat and sleep, Santa Monica is zeroing in on panhandlers.
The City Council voted unanimously last month to prohibit solicitation by anyone sitting on public chairs or benches on the Third Street Promenade and the so-called transit mall along two neighboring streets, Broadway and Santa Monica Boulevard. The ordinance, which must be approved on a second reading, expected next month, does not seek to ban panhandling or solicitation outright but rather to free up limited public seating.
"The key issue is that the city needs to be open to the public," said Kathleen Rawson, executive director of the Bayside District Corp., the public-private partnership that manages the downtown business district and urged the council to consider the restriction.
When the city installed the slatted metal and wooden chairs and benches, Rawson said, they were not intended for use by people trying to make a living.
