A retired U.S. General has called for strip searches of all muslim men at airports and “threat-based” profiling, declaring that “in the next 30-100 days,” there is “very high probability a US airliner will come down.”
Retired Lt. Gen. Thomas McInerney made the comments on a Fox News broadcast over the weekend.
“We’ve got to go to more than just the normal process that they’re talking about now,” he said on Saturday.

On Saturday, Obama said the Christmas day non-attack over Detroit was the work of al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, the latest incarnation of the perennial boogieman used by government to frighten people into accepting foreign invasions and occupations and an ever-growing police state grid at home.
“We know that [Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab] traveled to Yemen, a country grappling with crushing poverty and deadly insurgencies. It appears that he joined an affiliate of al Qaeda, and that this group — Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula — trained him, equipped him with those explosives and directed him to attack that plane headed for America,” Obama said in his address to the nation.

Leftist/Jihadist Alliance Update: the lefties at Think Progress posted this video. They think they have caught Congressman Peter King (R-NY) in a "Gotcha" moment on this one, but not unexpectedly, they play fast and loose with the facts. In their post they quote King thusly:
“[Y]ou could say that 80-85 percent of mosques in this country are controlled by Islamic fundamentalists,” he said in 2004.
The impression one might get from this is that King originated this figure -- pulled it out of his hat, made it up. In reality, he is on very firm ground here, but Think Progress doesn't tell you that. The Naqshbandi Sufi Sheikh Muhammad Hisham Kabbani said this in a State Department Open Forum on January 7, 1999: “The most dangerous thing that is going on now in these mosques, that has been sent upon these mosques around the United States – like churches they were established by different organizations and that is ok – but the problem with our communities is the extremist ideology. Because they are very active they took over the mosques; and we can say that they took over more than 80% of the mosques that have been established in the US. And there are more than 3000 mosques in the US. So it means that the methodology or ideology of extremist has been spread to 80% of the Muslim population, but not all of them agree with it.”
Kabbani based his statement on personal investigation of 114 American mosques, and never retracted his words, despite enormous pressure from American Muslim advocacy groups. In October 2001 the New York Times reported: “Sheik Kabbani said that he stood by his claim in his State Department speech that 80 percent of American mosques had been taken over by extremists, because of the 114 mosques he first visited in the United States, ‘Ninety of them were mostly exposed, and I say exposed, to extreme or radical ideology,’ based on their speeches, books and board members.”
This estimate has been borne out by more recent studies.
And is there any evidence of jihadist plotting in American mosques? Yes. Yes, there is.

In 1786 Jefferson and John Adams went to negotiate with Tripoli’s envoy to London, Ambassador Sidi Haji Abdrahaman or (Sidi Haji Abdul Rahman Adja). They asked him by what right he extorted money and took slaves. Jefferson reported to Secretary of State John Jay, and to the Congress:
"The ambassador answered us that [the right] was founded on the Laws of the Prophet (Mohammed), that it was written in their Koran, that all nations who should not have answered their authority were sinners, that it was their right and duty to make war upon them wherever they could be found, and to make slaves of all they could take as prisoners, and that every Mussulman (or Muslim) who should be slain in battle was sure to go to heaven." ...In 1786 Jefferson and John Adams went to negotiate with Tripoli’s envoy to... more

The next 9/11 will take place in Britain, members of a banned Muslim extremist group warned on the anniversary of the terror attacks.
The claim was made at a hate-filled meeting addressed via video link by exiled cleric Sheikh Omar Bakri Mohammed.
Leaders of the Al Muhajiroun sect said Osama bin Laden had taught the Americans a ‘lesson’ seven years ago, but the ‘crusaders’ had not learned and the next ‘9/11 will take place in Britain, the next 7/7 [London bombings] could take place locally’.
Radical preacher Bakri told a 100-strong audience of supporters in Walthamstow, east London, last night that he believed the British government was trying to assassinate him and claimed to have foiled a bomb plot.
Technical difficulties meant much of his speech was inaudible, but his appearance was greeted by cheers of ‘faith’ and ‘god is great’ at the community centre.
Bakri’s right- hand man, Anjem Choudary, led the proceedings in person, under the auspices of a group called Association for Islamic Research.
The most incendiary speech was delivered by Saiful Islam, who lauded Bin Laden and al Qaeda for their ‘courage’ in retaliating against the ‘dictatorship and oppression’ of the West

Hammaad Munshi was a 16 year-old studying for his GCSEs when he became a member of a cell of Islamic fanatics who targeted the Royal Family.
He supposedly spent hours of his revision time 'secretly surfing jihadist websites and distributing material as part of a 'conspiracy to wipe-out' non-Muslims,' as well as setting up a website which offered advice 'on how to make bombs, detonators, Napalm and using machine guns.'
Police also reportedly found a 'guide to death and explosives' at his home, as well as hand-written dimensions of a sub-machine gun inside his wallet.
He was found guilty at London's Blackfriars Crown Court of making a record of information likely to be useful in terrorism.Hammaad Munshi was a 16 year-old studying for his GCSEs when he became a member of a... more

One of the most common that is spewed from mouths of the "talking heads" and others is a warped view of the intended result for separation of church and state. I will not go into the details as every American citizen knows them... and has no idea they are being manipulated.
FYI.... Separation of church and state means.....
That the government shall not have a "state" religion, requiring all to participate.
i.e. It is not the United (insert religious name here) states of America. That's it. That is all.
THE END. PERIOD. GO HOME. STOP. THANK YOU.
People are so confused...
What do you expect, they don't research and just listen to sound bites and talking heads.. well the majority anyhow. The population on "current" is obviously trying to learn truth.
But the idea is spreading...
Most Islamists and islamic jurists consider the Western concept of separation of Church and State to be rebellion against God's law, but some moderate and liberal Muslims in India, Indonesia, Turkey and the Arab world are demanding such a separation. In Europe and North America, a number of Muslim organizations have the demand for secular democracy in their mission statements
Here's what it should have stayed in the USA though, as things are getting way outta hand!..
... no man shall be compelled to frequent or support any religious worship, place, or ministry whatsoever, nor shall be enforced, restrained, molested, or burthened in his body or goods, nor shall otherwise suffer on account of his religious opinions or belief; but that all men shall be free to profess, and by argument to maintain, their opinion in matters of religion, and that the same shall in no wise diminish enlarge, or affect their civil capacities. [12]
Under the United States Constitution, the treatment of religion by the government is broken into two clauses: the establishment clause and the free exercise clause. While both are discussed in the context of the separation of church and state, it is more often discussed in regard to whether certain state actions would amount to an impermissible government establishment of religion
Enjoy religious freedom, but don't kill religion, God or any other part of American culture. One of the most common that is spewed from mouths of the "talking heads" and... more

I am afraid jihad it is more of a way for people to channel aggression that is formed from poverty and social issues in some communities or governments, than anything truly holy... so sad how people are used..
I wonder if something as simple as sports were widely encouraged, if more frustration would be vented in a healthy way?
Then again, people might wake up and realize their religious leaders - of all people - are using them as pawns, if they learned strategy.. sports does teach that. Oh man, that sucks.
Here is part of the article sighted above... go to the link, it's interesting.
They are talking about TV coverage of the Islam Jihad...
"First there was the usual ritualistic condemnation of the extremists, but this was then followed by a much more detailed discussion of why we are to blame for whatever Muslims extremists do to us.
To all intents and purposes this placed the secular leftist firmly on the side of the Muslim representative, several of whom had decidedly alarming ideas. At least one was a supporter of suicide bombings, sorry, 'martyrdom operations'."I am afraid jihad it is more of a way for people to channel aggression that is formed... more

JAIPUR: On Friday, the first jume ki namaz after Tuesday’s blasts tore the city apart, Johari Bazaar’s Jama Masjid echoed with the chants.
Along with Imam Syed Mufti Amjad Ali, worshippers prayed for peace to the departed souls, solace and strength to the injured and the affected families and reason in the minds of the terrorists.
“Let us pray to Allah to guide to perverted souls so that they start loving the human race and stop killing them without reason. Let us pray for those who were killed in the blasts and for those who sustained injuries. God may give strength to the families to bear the shock,” said the Imam. The devotees bowed in response.
“Jihad means saving people and guarding one’s religion. In India people from all religions live together peacefully and there is no threat to anyone so who is fighting with whom and for what? It cannot be termed ‘jehad’ in any sense,” the Imam later told DNA.
“Tamaam Muslim jammat ayesi vardaaton ki mukhalfat karti hai” (The whole Muslim community condemns such a ghastly act), he reiterated, adding people from all religions were affected by the blasts.
Tuesday’s blasts included 12 Muslims among the dead and 30 in the list of injured, a spokesperson of the Rajasthan Muslim Forum said. He said businesses of several traders from the community were also hit. “Terrorists don’t have any religion and they just want to disturb communal harmony in otherwise peaceful nations like India. At least 20% of the Muslim community suffered due to the blasts. Where is the jehad?” he wondered.

Israel targeted leaders of the Islamic Jihad inside Gaza this wednesday, killing four of its leaders in a targeted shooting. Mohammed Shehadeh, the commander of the Islamic Jihad gave an interview to infolive.tv a few months before the attack left him dead.
In the interview the commander re-stated the Jihads aims as an organisation, to remove Israel from Palestine and end the occupation. What do you think that independent film like this one can demonstrate, if anything at all, about the conflict going on in Gaza?
Thanks to Journalist_Pal for the heads up on this. You can check out his clip on the attack here:
