Hello World,
Initially there was no notion, motive, or single-minded purpose of me going through the outright anguish of taking an approximately 173-183 mile bike ride from University of Houston to University of Austin besides the pure curiosity of being able to do so. And making it to SXSW blabbing about what I pulled off this time. Thus as the conquest of the thought progressed, a friend of mine said, “Why not do it for a cause? You don’t want to bike all that way with followers just because.” My mind in humorous essence impulsively said yes! Why was I not thinking of that? Think of how many people could benefit from this; how many people that are not being heard or helped in whatever their situation may be. The entirety of the trip could possibly change many lives. That is the hankering incentive that just moves me. I began to thresh out the many causes that I would stand up for and represent. Emphasis on many, because I could not just pick one. There is no limit to the possibilities, choices, and I want to reach out to as many people as possible. So I chose five causes that are extremely important to me and have shaped the way I viewed a full scale of things in my lifetime. Hunger/homelessness, Abuse, Creative Arts, Cancer,Cardiovascular issues. Now grant it if no one chose to follow me in the riot, I will be the loudest by myself all the way to Austin, Texas. That is a set and stone, done deal. But to be an informant, this exploration is worth the sweat. There is someone that is down on their luck right now, struggling, dying, crying, hurting, and fighting for a change. I will be holding the first annual Tour De Badness cycling fundraiser in March 2012. Which will consist of followers everywhere cycling from University of Houston to University of Texas-Austin, during the Film/Music Festival "SXSW." Tour De Badness is for five causes as I have told you. We would be more than honored for you to help us reach as many people as possible in order expand the awareness of this event, and hopefully sponsorship! We hope that you take this into consideration, and be apart of this monumental push to help hundreds, thousands, and even millions.
Thanks!Hello World,

Jennifer Grassman is a force of nature. This talented singer-songwriter has a gift for fusing diverse elements of classical, Celtic, gothic and rock styles into a beautiful, moving genre all her own.
Pretty Girls, Jennifer Grassman's first music video, is a surreal, dark and beautiful homage to women through the centuries and the joys and dangers that their beauty has drawn into their lives. This music video (produced by TLM Productions and Zenfilm) explores the darkness and light in this hauntingly beautiful song.
Filmed in and around a 150 year old rural farmhouse outside of Richmond, Texas, Pretty Girls captures dramatic and dangerous moments in the lives of pretty girls past and present. The narrative is intercut with dynamic performance footage of Jennifer Grassman filmed in Studio A of 'The Abbey Road of the South', historic SugarHill Studios, in Houston.

Fantastic new record from John Evans, showcasing the "Houston Sound". This album is quite unusual and full of surprises... everytime you think you have the album figured out, it changes direction, rides the elevator up a couple of floors and jumps out the window.
A virtuoso performance from this one of a kind singer/songwriter, tied together by producer Steve Christensen's so-very-not-Austin style.
The release was kicked off by a wonderful performance of the entire album at Houston mainstay McGonigel's Mucky Duck on Saturday, Sept. 20th. The show marked a new beginning for John Evans as well as a return to civilization for America's 4th largest city as it recovered from the devastation of Hurricane Ike.
Rock on John!
