Conservative columnist Ann Coulter is so upset at Fox News host Chris Wallace for asking Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum about gays in the military that she is advocating violence.
In asking Santorum about the military’s now-repealed gay ban Sunday, Wallace had compared the integration of blacks to the integration of gays.
“It is a behavioral issue as opposed to a color of the skin issue,” Santorum argued. “And that makes it all the difference when it comes to serving in the military.”
Guest hosting for Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly Monday, Laura Ingraham asked Coulter to respond, not to Santorum’s view of gays in the military but to the appropriateness of Wallace’s question.
“I thought it was an outrageous question,” Coulter declared. “First of all, I thought Juan Williams should have punched Chris Wallace for saying that when he came on the second half of the program. I’m sick of people comparing gays to blacks. No, it’s very different. What Santorum said is true.”
“You can see someone is black. You can’t see someone is gay. And the precise policy we’re talking about is whether someone can go around announcing they are gay. I mean, it’s not just being gay. Obviously, [Bradley Manning] can be listening to Lady Gaga while downloading files he’s about to give to Wikipedia in the greatest betrayal of his country anyone has ever committed in the military and he was gay. Pretending to listen to Lady Gaga, that’s not enough.”
It’s should be no surprise that Coulter agrees with Santorum that homosexuality is a “behavioral issue” because she has also said that she believes in the gay conversion therapy offered by Rep. Michele Bachmann’s (R-MN) clinic.

Last night, Ann Coulter came on to The O'Reilly Factor and said this:
"There is a growing body of evidence that radiation in excess of what the government says are the minimum amounts we should be exposed to are actually good for you and reduce cases of cancer."
Yes, you read that correctly. According to Ann Coulter, radiation is actually the cure for cancer, and, no, she was not talking about chemo levels of radiation. She meant living in the shadow of Chernobyl.
Coulter cited a number of articles from, of all places, The New York Times to prove her point, and then took the media to task for not reporting on this “because a, it's not sensationalistic to say, 'oh, humans are going to have two heads' and b, it's antinuclear power."
O'Reilly, in response to this nonsense, jokingly said "we should all be heading for the nuclear reactor leaking and kind of sunbathing," to which Coulter actually agreed!

NPR has terminated the contract of long-time contributor Juan Williams over remarks he made on the O’Reilly Factor last night. On Monday night’s O’Reilly Factor Williams weighed in on Bill O’Reilly’s now infamous View appearance (watch the video below).
Well, actually, I hate to say this to you because I don’t want to get your ego going. But I think you’re right. I think, look, political correctness can lead to some kind of paralysis where you don’t address reality.
I mean, look, Bill, I’m not a bigot. You know the kind of books I’ve written about the civil rights movement in this country. But when I get on the plane, I got to tell you, if I see people who are in Muslim garb and I think, you know, they are identifying themselves first and foremost as Muslims, I get worried. I get nervous.
NPR’s media reporter David Folkenflik broke the news on Twitter. Read from the bottom up:
# Williams also warned Fox host Bill O’Reilly agst blaming all Muslims for “extremists,” saying Christians shouldn’t be blamed for Tim McVeigh 14 minutes ago via web
Here’s a link to Williams’ most contentious remarks in which he said he was “nervous” seeing Muslim airline passengers http://huff.to/b06b9B 16 minutes ago via web
The decision by NPR follows strong criticism for remarks on Fox suggesting he feared passengers in Muslim garb when boarding aircraft. 19 minutes ago via web
NPR statement on terminating Wms contract says his remarks abt muslims on Fox News “undermined his credibility as a news analyst w NPR” 21 minutes ago via web
NPR: “Juan has been a valuable contributor…. However his remarks on the O’Reilly Factor … were inconsistent w/our editorial standards” 22 minutes ago via web
#NPR terminates contract of longtime analyst Juan Williams for comments made on Fox News about Muslims. More to come. 25 minutes ago via web
Video below of Williams’ appearance on O’Reilly. On a personal note, despite the ill-conceived remarks (especially in this loaded media and political cycle) I happen to be a longtime fan of Williams’ analysis on NPR and could not be more sorry to see him let go. As the NYT points out Williams dual role on Fox News and NPR has caused friction before, but I have always felt his presence on both somehow lent a certain credibility to both, and not vice verse.
Meanwhile, it’s hard not to wonder whether the more beneficial, more considered, altogether more NPR thing to do here would have been to devote a segment of Morning Edition, or Weekend Edition, or All Things Considered to having Williams explain just what the hell he was talking about. At least that would have provided a forum for intelligent conversation on the matter, something that is desperately lacking at the moment. Apparently not. Instead it seems that, along with CNN’s dismissal of Octavia Nasr earlier this year for an ill-thought-out tweet, this is merely further proof that no matter how long and respectable your career all it takes is one idiotic soundbite to do you in.

ABC Slams Lane Bryant: We Never Rejected Plus Size Lingerie Ad
Fox News
NewsCore
Lane Bryant had been set to launch its campaign for Cacique, its new lingerie line, during “Dancing With the Stars.”
ABC says plus size retailer Lane Bryant’s claims that the network refused to air a commercial featuring a model in lingerie are no more than a fabricated publicity stunt.

"Sure," O'Reilly agreed. "But their parents are screwed up. That's the thing... Kids get married at 16 and 17. Their parents are drunks. I'm generalizing now. (Gee, ya think?) There's a lot of meth. There's a lot of irresponsibility. There's fear to go. Look, if I'm born in Appalachia, the first chance I get, I go to Miami."Sure," O'Reilly agreed. "But their parents are screwed up.... more

Yes, Virginia, there is a “war on Christmas” that is being waged by the nefarious forces of the secular/gay/Islamo-terrorist/ACLU agenda that is seeking to destroy America as we know it and replace it with ungodly tolerance and diversity!!!! And to those who buy Bill O’Reilly’s book “Bold, Fresh Piece of Excrement” whoops “Bold, Fresh Piece of Humanity,” he is giving you, as a reward for your stupidity, a bumper sticker (see Huffpo for an amusing article and a photo of said sticker) that says “We say Merry Christmas.” What better way to celebrate Christmas – and show your cultural sensitivity – than to drive around a Jewish or Muslim neighborhood sporting this fine accessory on your bumper sticker! My question is, why the fleur de lis? Is this an homage to those brie eating, “surrender monkeys?” And as such, shouldn’t the phrase be “Nous disons Joyeux Noel?”
P.S. Does Bill know that his parent company has cancelled its HOLIDAY party per Fox's David Asman who used that evil, secular- progressive phrase??????? Yes, Virginia, there is a “war on Christmas” that is being waged by the... more

You've heard the negative stories about Gov. Sarah Palin's lack of knowledge. You know the one that goes she didn't know Africa is a continent.
What says the man who relayed that information to the nation?
"The McCain people harpooned her," Fox News' Bill O'Reilly told "Good Morning America" Monday morning. "From what we understand she had made a misstatement in a mock debate, and they looked at ... 'she doesn't know where Africa is.' "
Palin has said her debate preparation was taken out of context; she described the people spreading the story as "immature," "unprofessional" and "jerks." O'Reilly of "The O'Reilly Factor" seemed to agree with Palin on Monday. Or did he?
"We broke that story on 'The Factor,' " O'Reilly told Diane Sawyer. "It was a legitimate story, but it's bunk."
It's legitimate and bunk -- how does that work? What do you think about that? You've heard the negative stories about Gov. Sarah Palin's lack of... more

I know this video was pretty popular when it came out, and it is already linked to from another article (check out Bill O'Reilly's 7 worst moments or others). Just thought it deserved new life because it is hilarious. Gotta love the man who talks for over an hour on television every night in addition to a radio show in the morning, five days a week.
Stephen Colbert said it best in his classic interview with O'Reilly, "You know what I hate about people who criticize you? They — they criticize what you say but they never give you credit for how loud you say it."

"No one on this Earth is going to block a shot on the O'Reilly Factor." - Bill O'Reilly
Bill O'Loofah again proves why he can be the only guardian of the "No Spin Zone".
Excuse me but I need to look for my air sickness bag.
It is almost too incredible to believe that The FAUX "News" Channel would put some of the stuff in this film on the air but here they are, fully exposed, in this short clip showing their anchors sniping and lying about Obama. FAUX is undeniably the most dishonest.network in broadcast television. For them to be able to use the slogan "Fair and Balanced" is one of the most egregious court decisions in civil law. Additionally, for them to add the slogan "We report, You decide" makes me want to hurl my dinner. It should be "We make up lies, You see if you can catch us before we edit the transcript."
While I am an Edwards supporter at this point, I congratulate Obama on continuing to keep FAUX from ambushing him. Perhaps if O'Loofah had just warmed him up with a little phone foreplay....."No one on this Earth is going to block a shot on the O'Reilly Factor."... more
