John McCain - Shame on You - Detainees Don't Exist

Where was this former prisoner of war when our justice system was being reformed to emotional retardation by the Bush Administration? The people in Guantanamo Bay and other such hidden concentration camps have been there for ten years - most without any proof of wrongdoing. McCain spent five years as a prisoner of war - so is he striving for the evil that was shown to him? That isn't America. Even the people who have been whipped into the illogical media-induced hatred have to relize that we can't subvert common human decency

The Detainee Treatment Act of 2005 was a sad attempt at re-writing the Geneva Convention for the purposes of Bush's inhumane new MADE UP classification of prisoners of war. John McCain has quickly changed his tune to urge a military trial for Abdulmutallab.
I was shocked, no just saddened, by the blatant lies that are being told to the gullible American people about "DETAINEES." There is no such thing. They are either prisoners of our "justice" system, or prisoners of war. The brainwashing term "detainee" is a gross euphemism for the bastardization of justice and the common rules of war. If we did indeed treat our supposed enemies (which without evidence, they are nothing but kid-napping victims to me) as EC's or Prisoners of War, the Guantanimo Bay would not have been seen as a viable option for other human beings. The men who implimented the attacks on the Twin Towers are DEAD. Their accomplices, IF THERE IS EVIDENCE, will be judged harshly. To deny our own honor and rules of engagment because of the emtional wound the attack caused our country is not American, but a move of a coward with a gun. We are better than that, and we need to shift the discussion from if these HUMAN BEINGS should finally recieve a small justice after ten year of illegal captivity to why we allowed Bush's half-retarded Texan justice to take over the world - AND OUR MEDIA.

Like an act that allows people to club baby seals to death called Save the Sweet Seals (made up, maybe it will become law?!) the Treatment Act of 2005 attempted to set in stone the illegal designation of these "enemies" as "detainees."

Now the Obama administration is trying to wade through the sea of made-up legal terms and many prisoners that have no proof against them except their country of origin.
