Today Bill Gates announced his foundation will pay 10 billion dollars over the next 10 years to research of vaccines in poor countries. Yesterday, instead, he accused the Italian government because it's the only country to cut aid to developing countries.
Bob Geldof said the Italian government is trying "to improve its budget on the backs of the poor."

Innovation is as American as baseball and apple pie. But some traditions can't be trademarked.
Americans like to think there is something about their culture that's especially conducive to innovation--the open geography and frontier spirit; a flexible economy with limited interference by government; the Protestant work ethic; an immigrant workforce, constantly renewed by the next generation of talent from around the world. Other countries can perhaps emulate some of these traits, but none can replicate the creative cocktail that is America.
That might be true today. But could it be that American achievements reflect the past more than predicting the future?

Corporate social responsibility is not just about a company outing to feed the homeless a few times a year, or collecting cans and toys at Christmas time. It can be much more global than that and, according to author William Kramer, can be profitable, too.
YPNation contributor Katharine Tighe takes a look at Kramer's book, "The Next Four Billion: Market Size and Business Strategies at the Base of the Pyramid," and considers his argument for tapping this impoverished market.
Here is what she has to say:
Across the globe, the World Economic Forum estimates that about 3.7 billion people work outside formal markets. Referred to as the "base of the pyramid,” or “BOP” by Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) experts, these people earn the equivalent of up to US$8 a day. Most earn much less.
At the top of this income bracket, people, though still poor, have some discretionary income. With planning, they can invest in income-boosting tools and services, such as a low-priced cell phone, a mechanized plow or a transportation-sharing program.
"Much of the BOP represents a fast-growing consumer market, an underutilized productive sector and a source of untapped entrepreneurial energy," the World Economic Forum (WEF) argues in a paper titled, "The Next Billions: Unleashing Business Potential in Untapped Markets."Corporate social responsibility is not just about a company outing to feed the... more

This is fear pushing and/or actual plans
This has to stop
0:26 starting with that pause before “iran’s nuclear weapons ambitions”
0:28 hands firm on the stand when starting the statement. “to allow the world’s leading sponsor of terror, to gain the world’s deadliest weapon would be an unforgivable betrayal of future generations, for the sake of peace, the world must not allow iran to have a nuclear weapon”, tone curves down at last word
0:44 stare at the crowd, dismissive mouth gesture
0:47 “change will not come easily, change never does”
… and the right’s eye twitching starts:
1st 0:50 change never does
2nd 0:54 powerful engine
3rd 0:56 demographics
4th 1:01 under thirty years old
5th 1:12 information
6th 1:21 people
7th 1:25 impossible
dismissive mouth gesture
“but history has a way of surprising us, and change can happen more quickly than we expect”
he is using the word change more than obama, this is mental bulling, this is EXTORTION.
Peace is action in the right direction and his right eye has some interestingly timed trouble, self aware or not.
This is bullshit, we do not want any more bullshit, we need peace.

because of the high level of turbulence that the global money machine is going through, Japan is now in the awkward position of having to call the us, canada, france, germany, italy, japan and britain aka uk, and see what they can come up w/, cause according to the Japanese super computers and brains, we r melted.
why? cause there is no bank leader, this is the first time in 80 years, and the bank of japan does not know what to do next, so they pick up the phone and call the stock holders aka G7
now what?
