Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew I, The Dali Lama, Rev Sally Bingham, Pope Benedict XV1, and 11 more preach the gospel of green.
"Crime against the natural world is a sin," says Bartholomew I, leader of more than 300 million Orthodox Christians worldwide. "The Green Patriarch" has thrown his weight behind various international environmental causes, and urges leaders of other faiths to raise environmental awareness among their believers. The winner of both the U.S. Congressional Gold Medal and the Sophie Prize for leadership in environmental protection and sustainable development, Bartholomew I takes his "fisher of men" duty seriously: In 2003, he brought together 200 scientists, political leaders, and journalists on a cruise ship in the Baltic Sea to discuss marine preservation and the hazards of overfishing. "To protect the oceans is to do God's work," he says. "To harm them, even if we are ignorant of the harm we cause, is to diminish His divine creation."

1. Local News:
2. National News:
3. International News:
I personally feel that there are dangerous broadcast ideologies happening today that diverts our attention to external news thus giving us the impression that our local news are less important. It looks that the problem is always elsewhere but where you live, your neighborhood, your community. I am not saying that National and International news are not important, what I am saying is that we do not have a choice from the networks and National and International news is only what we get. Now this is also a tactic practiced by many news networks to focus your head elsewhere so you will be alienated from your own neighborhood and community issues.
My goal is to practice a loop of journalism that takes care of local issues first as the spirit of GOD tells me to start an issue at home first. Local issues these days have to do with citizens living and personal security. To this point I am concerned to every aspect of local Safety & Traffic issues that favors citizens safety. For that matter is where I started to have interest for the urban acoustics issues of pollution. First there it is a challenge issue in so many ways because there are a great lack of personal public education on the issue. Government bodies, Public Transportation, Manufactories of Market and the Wrong After Market Vehicles Manufactories has been for years taking advantage of our lack of education contributing to the general pollution chaos in the City.

Sensorial Sciences helping people to improve their quality of life by understanding the toxic energy that surrounds them.
Helping healthy and disable individuals to understand the real reality behind sound energy. The vehicle manufactories industry and it engineers lobbied the Government giving decibels measurements that are bias and not appropriate for human life or living. It is time for them to correct that!
Many times I wrote that you can not assess an acoustic noise event from traffic based on decibels alone. Who understands decibels? Not the general population and there is where they fool you! To assess an event of noise use these items I am going to layout bellow:
1. Source of Noise
2. Type of Noise
3. Range of Noise
4. Decibels
5. Frequency
6. Landscape Architecture
7. The human factor
Please, tell Congress and our Local Government that you are tired of lies and you want the true about correcting the decibels that is appropriate for humans not a machine.
Here is the question to Engineers:
- How far a sound wave from the source of the noise emission is reaching out at the spectrum landscape? I know you can calculate that "range" in meters or feet and I am sure you know that --these items described above are the most important ones to assess an acoustic event, not decibels alone.

A translation of the lyrics. Not perfect but great enough!

Un Ange Frappe A Ma Porte
The first single off her 5th album "Longueur d'ondes" is a departure for Natasha St Pier, one of France's most beloved vocalist at the moment. Gone are the pop dittys, as Natasha explores electronic and oriental sounds, and the pastel colors of her voice.
Recommended albums: Longueur d'ondes, De l'amour le mieux.
SONG ADAPTATION:
"An Angel Knocks On My Door" (Un ange frappe a ma porte)
A sign, a tear
A line of steel
Clean all the stars above with my heart's alcohol
A void, a whim
A rose with shades of grim
Someone who takes somebody else's place
Chorus:
An angel knocks on my door
Should I let him come inside
It is not always my fault
If everything is broken
The devil knocks on my door
And he asks to speak to me
There's in me the other
Who feels the pull of danger
A sin, a sigh
And love: a lie
I drown into a glass
Can't bear this skin of mine
I grin, I hide
The truth behind a mask
The sun above will never ever rise
Chorus
Bridge:
I'm not as strong as I appear
And at night I don't sleep
All these dreams they don't help me
Chorus 2
And a child knocks on my door
He lets the light shine inside
He has my eyes and my heart
And behind him there is hell
An angel knocks on my door
Should I let him come inside
It is not always my fault
If everything is wasted
It is not always my fault
If everything is broken
It is not always my fault
If everything is wastedA translation of the lyrics. Not perfect but great enough!

The point here is:
Are he is going to listen to it and act in order to protect our Citizens from Noise?
Let us all find out how good he is to this Country...
January 25, 2008
Rear Admiral Steven K. Galson, MD, MPH
Office of the Surgeon General
5600 Fishers Lane
Room 18-66
Rockville, MD 20857
Dear Doctor Galson:
I am a retired physician with an interest in the public health aspects of
noise pollution. With each passing year, noise pollution increases. As it
does, so do noise-related, adverse medical, social, and economic effects.
Noise pollution affects every American in countless negative ways both day and night. Among its many adverse effects, noise damages hearing, disturbs
communication, disrupts sleep, impairs cardiovascular function, interferes with teaching and learning, reduces productivity, harms relationships, provokes unwanted behaviors, and increases accidents. It is a major source of recurring and often unrecognized stress, which, itself, degrades the quality of life and adversely affects health. These are not potential effects; they are real. They are medically, socially, and economically important.
Your predecessors have spoken out about the hazards of pollution with unquestioned effect. They brought problems to public attention and contributed to their solutions. I am writing to you because you are in a position to do the same for noise pollution.
Most citizens are concerned about pollution and the ways it degrades the
quality of life. These concerns center around the environment in which we
live, the food we eat, the air we breathe, and the water we drink. Citizens want and expect the government to protect us from the various pollutants in our environment, all of which directly affect our health and well being.
Our society has been slow to deal with all the pollutants to which we are
exposed. It has dealt with them irrationally and inconsistently. This is
especially true of air pollution. Air borne pollution exists in two very
different forms. The most noticeable form of air pollution consists of particles. Vehicle emissions, factory emissions, tobacco smoke, and other particulate forms of air pollution are known to produce illness; they are justifiable concerns of citizens. Thus, we have many laws aimed at protecting the environment from air borne particles that pollute.

Acoustic Landscape Architecture Applied to Law, Criminality and Behavior Sciences
- Environmental Architecture 3D
I created this topic because in today's World there are many human healthy and scientific misconceptions in the area of transportation and acoustics resulting from decades of lobbying from Industry and Commerce in the USA and abroad, consequently helping to alienate the public and its education on the subject.
The goal here is to study this subject analyzing many spiritual, physical and psychological aspects of toxic energy created by humans mainly in the area of acoustics and the products that relate to it. It is an Artistic proposal and a Sciences Master Degree Theme.
Therefore here is the question:
- What is the reality and what is not when we deal with sound (noise) emissions and its traveling range perimeter path and how that negatively affects human life daily?Acoustic Landscape Architecture Applied to Law, Criminality and Behavior Sciences

The first civil principal anyone must know; (no excuses or exceptions); is to behave civically and accordingly with the Law. It is just part of your reasoning and logic behavior analysis to identify when a person is not following lawful principals that protects everyone rights of peace and quietness. That is exactly where criminality and terrorism starts. Terrorism starts when an individual violate the rights of other arbitrarily. Acoustic pollution is the first act of terrorism and arbitrariness in America today. Go look for acoustic polluters and you will also find a closed terrorist.

You want to be an activist, you also need to be an environmentalist and have respect for others. Therefore do not honk, don't even think about it! Honking is disturbing the peace and not a form of social behavior.
You should know better. Please do not add to the pollution. We already have too much noise in our environment. Do not be a hypocritical! Go tell San Francisco Transportation to get their thing together first and remove these acoustic invasive noise from their buses that drives residents insane in the City.
Therefore, NO HONKING!

There's loud music and then there's this!
Boom!
Boom!
Boom!
It's 12:30 a.m., and the pounding has begun.
Is it a Los Angeles earthquake? A wild pack of overeager city construction
workers? No, although some days I can only wish.
Acutally, it's just a neighbour or rather, his car stereo gracing the night
with its presence as he arrives home.
I sigh and mutter a few choice phrases as I feel myself being shaken rather
abruptly out of bed. My home is my oasis, my hideaway when I'm off the road. I'll bet that you feel the same way.
I'm not sure why this boy thinks that pounding out the tunes while everyone
else is asleep is an OK thing to do. The pounding rolls through the house,
the air, my bones. It's like being under assault. What I really don't
understand is how I can hear his bass at all, since I'm in my own house,
across the street. Did I mention all my windows and doors are shut tight, or that my TV is still on?
It's so loud and pervasive that turning up the TV doesn't drown it out. I
can still hear it. Boom! -Boom! -Boom! -Boom!. The sound of a complete neighborhood nuisance.

I am happy that the City of Peoria is teaching the US to be more humane and acoustically responsible. That is also an opportunity for San Francisco to follow the role model and educate themselves by making this issue even better. This is only one issue on urban acoustics between many happening out there. Some other one are:
1. Noise from Car Alarms and remote lock doors control.
2. Motorcycles with modified mufflers.
3. Cars with modified mufflers.
4. Speed and lack of attention.
5. Aircraft Urban Acoustic violation on City Airspace.
6. ...And the out of acoustic sync Public Transportation.
Time for everyone to get their Acoustic Education on time.
This rule of 50 feet limit is very questionable! That is the reason the law needs to catch up with human health issues and landscape acoustic architecture. http://tinyurl.com/yq4z8z... more
