It may be a grave situation, but for many punters it's a dead cert - members of an internet fan forum are taking bets on when England football legend Paul Gascoigne is going to die.
Gascoigne, known to millions as Gazza, has had very public issues with alcohol and mental health problems since he quit the game.
But now, supporters of Scottish club Celtic - the bitter rivals of Rangers, a club Gazza once played for - have invented a sinister betting game when participants can guess the time of his death. The game appeared on the 'Huddleboard' website after the latest lurid story involving Gazza, who once took centre stage at World Cup 90 and Euro 96, reported that he had drunk a bottle of whiskey for breakfast.

Former England midfielder Paul Gascoigne has reportedly been arrested again, this time for allegedly causing criminal damage.
Gazza is no stranger to crazy antics, earlier this week the paparazzi photographed him trying to open his local pub's door at 9.45am, with what appeared to be his own keys. He was also sectioned earlier this year under the Mental Health act after a 'well-publicised emotional downfall.'

Paul Gascoigne was back in hospital last night after asking staff to give him a steak knife and then trying to drown himself in the bathtub of his hotel room.
The troubled former England football star was being assessed by doctors after going "hysterical" at a top London hotel, it has been reported.
Police were called to the four-star Millennium Hotel in Knightsbridge yesterday afternoon after staff became concerned about his condition.
Staff feared that Gazza, who had just shaved his head, had planned to slash his wrists in his room, according to The Sun. The drama comes two months after Gascoigne was freed from a psychiatric hospital after being detained for two weeks under the Mental Health Act.
He was held in February after Northumbria Police were called to the Hilton Hotel in Gateshead.
It followed an incident at the Malmaison Hotel in Newcastle hours earlier, where the hotel said the star made other guests and staff feel "threatened".
Gascoigne had spent 12 nights at the £200-a-night Malmaison recuperating after a hip operation.
Staff said the 40-year-old, who won 57 caps for England, had behaved in a bizarre manner during his stay.
One said: "He's always out of it, he's off his head on drink.
"He's obviously not well."
Regarded as one of England's most talented footballers, Gascoigne had spells at Newcastle, Tottenham, Lazio and Rangers.
However, he made the headlines more for his alcoholism and off-field behaviour. Paul Gascoigne was back in hospital last night after asking staff to give him a steak... more
