At the heart of this idea is a controversial bible verse Luke 19:27 which is the culmination of a parable where a certain nobleman who is made into a king states that the enemies of his who did not want him to be their king, the nobleman gives the order that these people should be brought before him and killed in front of him. This parable is the major justification of most evangelical christian leaders why they must take control of the secular government of the United States, their shining new Jerusalem, and raise up an army of Christian believers, so that they can fulfill this order from this parable. Because in their interpretation of the story, the nobleman is Jesus the King. Therefore it is their holy Jihad that they should kill all the unbelievers to pave the way for their King to take over the world.
I am dead serious about this and if you don't believe me, you need to watch a recent documentary that makes things very clear. Its called "The God Who Wasn't There".
But first I am going to paste the story here so you can read it and then I am going to give you my interpretation of this story, which is based in an entirely different perspective, one that is based in a humanist understanding of history.
The Parable of the Ten Minas
11 While they were listening to this, he went on to tell them a parable, because he was near Jerusalem and the people thought that the kingdom of God was going to appear at once. 12 He said: “A man of noble birth went to a distant country to have himself appointed king and then to return. 13 So he called ten of his servants and gave them ten minas.[a] ‘Put this money to work,’ he said, ‘until I come back.’
14 “But his subjects hated him and sent a delegation after him to say, ‘We don’t want this man to be our king.’
15 “He was made king, however, and returned home. Then he sent for the servants to whom he had given the money, in order to find out what they had gained with it.
16 “The first one came and said, ‘Sir, your mina has earned ten more.’
17 “‘Well done, my good servant!’ his master replied. ‘Because you have been trustworthy in a very small matter, take charge of ten cities.’
18 “The second came and said, ‘Sir, your mina has earned five more.’
19 “His master answered, ‘You take charge of five cities.’
20 “Then another servant came and said, ‘Sir, here is your mina; I have kept it laid away in a piece of cloth. 21 I was afraid of you, because you are a hard man. You take out what you did not put in and reap what you did not sow.’
22 “His master replied, ‘I will judge you by your own words, you wicked servant! You knew, did you, that I am a hard man, taking out what I did not put in, and reaping what I did not sow? 23 Why then didn’t you put my money on deposit, so that when I came back, I could have collected it with interest?’
24 “Then he said to those standing by, ‘Take his mina away from him and give it to the one who has ten minas.’
25 “‘Sir,’ they said, ‘he already has ten!’
26 “He replied, ‘I tell you that to everyone who has, more will be given, but as for the one who has nothing, even what they have will be taken away. 27 But those enemies of mine who did not want me to be king over them—bring them here and kill them in front of me.’”
From the story you can see that the nobleman/king is bloody tyrant who justifies making money by expecting those that serve him to make him profits and interest. Who does this kind of nobleman/king sound like to you? I can point to one major player in the world that acts like this....WALLSTREET. This parable is a critique of capitalism it is not a story demonstrating the loving god and father that Jesus was trying to show people. This is a critique of the god that he came to destroy, the bloody king god that came before him, the biblegod of the old testament.
The Christian fanatics justify their unholy alliance with Washington DC and Wallstreet in order to accomplish the goal of their interpretation of this parable by taking over DC by supporting WALLSTREET in order to get control of the government so they can go on a bloody rampage (Jihad) throughout the United States and institute the rule of of their King and literally kill all the unbelievers to purge the country and make it a haven (heaven on earth) for the true believers. This is the real deal, the coming genocide here in the US under the Ayatollah like rule of Christian Fundamentalism. They are the ones who have been, through the GOP, waging war against women, war against gays, war against the middle class (why? because you have to depend on their king for your support), war against atheists, war against science, war against (insert enemy here)...According to the authors of the "Left Behind" series of novels, this is a necessary step in order to bring about the apocalypse and the end of the world so Jesus will come back and be their king.
The truth is that this parable describes the attitude of the 1% who rule over the world and want us to be their subjects under their kingdom and they have been brainwashing the fundamentalist to serve as their army of good christian soldier citizens to get rid of the rest of us who refuse to serve their WALLSTREET god who they mistakenly call Jesus.

The godmurders.com website put this King/God on trial and he lost. The link above is to his interpretation of this Luke 19:27 verse from the bible. I guarantee that if you love progressive values, when you read his writing on this verse, you will start to feel a sense of rage start to rise up and get strangled in your throat. As humanists and lovers of the potential of the human spirit to overcome the superstition of these fanatics. I suggest you take this warning seriously.

KABUL (AFP) – Afghanistan has seen an "alarming" near-doubling of roadside bomb attacks over the past year, a UN report said Saturday, as the US asserted progress was being made in the war-torn country.
UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon said "security incidents" have risen significantly as US-led forces make a push in the south and militant activities have grown in the southeast and eastern regions of Afghanistan.
"The rise in incidents involving improvised-explosive devices constitutes an alarming trend, with the first four months of 2010 recording a 94 percent increase compared to the same period in 2009," the report to the UN security council said.
The report added suicide attacks involving more complex planning have doubled from last year to roughly two per month, which "demonstrates a growing capability of the local terrorist networks linked to Al-Qaeda".
Killings of civilians by insurgents aiming to take control of urban populations have also increased 45 percent from last year, to a rate of seven a week, mostly taking place in the south and southeast, it said.
The report came at the end of a week in which US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said the Afghan government and its international backers were making progress stabilising the country.
"We think that we're making progress, we know how hard it is," Clinton told a news conference in Washington Friday, saying that "the Afghan military and police are improving".
"There's a lot of positive indicators," she added, citing advances in education, health, government capacity, agricultural output and economic growth.
Ban's UN report also noted conflict-related civilian casualties decreased one percent compared to last year, but officials said at least five civilians, including two young girls, died in a NATO air strike Saturday targeting the Taliban in eastern Afghanistan.
"We have received five bodies of civilians in our provincial public hospital," Khost provincial health director Amirbadshah Rahmatzai Mangal told AFP.
"The dead include two female children of seven and eight years of age. A 14-year-old boy was wounded."
Khost provincial police chief general Abdul Hakim Ishaqzai said six civilians and 38 Taliban militants were killed by the bombing in the mountainous area on the Pakistan border.
Commander of NATO forces in Afghanistan, US General Stanley McChrystal, has made minimising civilian casualties a central tenet of his counter-insurgency strategy and has ordered reduced air strikes to help achieve the objective.
The Pentagon on Thursday said US-led forces were making headway against the Taliban, but it was "overshadowed" by violence in southern provinces and what it called an overly gloomy portrayal of the war shaped by media coverage.
The rising death toll in Afghanistan is unwelcome news for Washington and its allies, whose electorates are increasingly frustrated by casualties in a seemingly endless and faraway war.KABUL (AFP) – Afghanistan has seen an "alarming" near-doubling of... more

Speaking at the Campus Progress journalism conference earlier this month, Seymour Hersh - a Pulitzer-Prize winning journalist for The New Yorker - revealed that Bush administration officials held a meeting recently in the Vice President's office to discuss ways to provoke a war with Iran.
In Hersh's most recent article, he reports that this meeting occurred in the wake of the overblown incident in the Strait of Hormuz, when a U.S. carrier almost shot at a few small Iranian speedboats. The "meeting took place in the Vice-President's office. 'The subject was how to create a casus belli between Tehran and Washington,'" according to one of Hersh's sources.
During the journalism conference event, I asked Hersh specifically about this meeting and if he could elaborate on what occurred. Hersh explained that, during the meeting in Cheney's office, an idea was considered to dress up Navy Seals as Iranians, put them on fake Iranian speedboats, and shoot at them. This idea, intended to provoke an Iran war, was ultimately rejected:
HERSH: There was a dozen ideas proffered about how to trigger a war. The one that interested me the most was why don't we build - we in our shipyard - build four or five boats that look like Iranian PT boats. Put Navy seals on them with a lot of arms. And next time one of our boats goes to the Straits of Hormuz, start a shoot-up.
Might cost some lives. And it was rejected because you can't have Americans killing Americans. That's the kind of - that's the level of stuff we're talking about. Provocation. But that was rejected.Speaking at the Campus Progress journalism conference earlier this month, Seymour... more

WASHINGTON (AP) - President Barack Obama on Friday ordered 4,000 more military troops into Afghanistan, vowing to "disrupt, dismantle and defeat" the terrorist al-Qaida network in Afghanistan and neighboring Pakistan.
In a war that still has no end in sight, Obama said the fresh infusion of U.S. forces is designed to bolster the Afghan army and turn up the heat on terrorists that he said are plotting new attacks against Americans. The plan takes aim at terrorist havens in Pakistan and challenges the government there and in Afghanistan to show more results.
Obama called the situation in the region "increasingly perilous" more than seven years after the Taliban was removed from power in Afghanistan.
"If the Afghanistan government falls to the Taliban or allows al-Qaida to go unchallenged," Obama said, "that country will again be a base for terrorists."
He announced the troop deployment, as well as plans to send hundreds of additional civilians to Afghanistan, with Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, Defense Secretary Robert Gates and top intelligence and national security figures at his side. The announcement followed a policy review Obama launched not long after taking office.
