Letters from the near future 2
In my first letter from the future I barely touched the surface of what has taken place in our not to distant future. I left off contemplating what had gotten us to this place, and my Soldiers were in place to spring an ambush on a supply convoy. Luckily we pulled it off without any casualty's on either side, 8 trucks of supply's are now ours and 20 more volunteers who gave up really very easily without air support or Armored vehicles it was easy to see why they did. That night we celebrated our victory in the skirmish and our newly found recruits, but in the morning we headed out to meet up with the rest of our Battalion. Assuming that our strength in numbers is rising everyday, it won't be long till we are Brigade size. Our soldiers glee was short lived the next day when our forward scouts were ambushed themselves by a crack unit from the 4th Infantry. It set the stage for an all night fire fight into the dawn before the Unit decided we had to many numbers and retreated. Once again we were surprised there had been no air support on the part of the Government forces. Something big has happened over the last couple weeks. In the beginning of this revolt things had been pretty tough, the depression or collapse of 2012, whatever you want to call it left literally millions of starving and homeless once proud American citizens. With many of our leader types imprisoned and the public begging for leaders it took like I said before a couple of months to liberate some of the FEMA camps in the Pacific Northwest. Some camps were destroyed by the Government who could see
where this revolt was going with the tide turning quickly, that unfortunate action and killing of so many innocent people worked more to our favor than any gorilla action has. Word spread from mostly person to person as the populace was waking up to the fact we all were being monitored, more than you can imagine. Cell phones were soon ditched by millions in fear of being picked up government forces and being interned, but our fear lead to anger for the killings and and illegal imprisonment of our friends and relatives. After our all night fire fight with the crack unit from the 4th infantry and their eventual retreat we hooked up with the rest of the Battalion and our Commander gave us all some very good news. It appears that our revolutionary forces had captured Fort Lewis and McCord Air Force bases to the north near Tacoma Washington. That would explain why the Air support for the Government forces had disappeared. We now have somewhat of an Air Force with what was left of the planes and Helicopters and the Pilots that threw down their support of what the Government had been making them do. The wake up call is hitting the Fascist Government pretty hard and Soldiers are defecting and refusing to shoot their fellow countrymen. Also our Commander gave us the information that the newly formed rebel Government has been kicking around the idea that we are forming a new country in the Pacific Northwest that includes Washington, Idaho, Oregon and Northern California, apparently around the country many areas are doing the same thing. Sounds as if things are going our way and sorting out the new borders will take weeks if not years. We still have some renegade opposition forces to deal with as we liberate more and more citizens and start the business of surviving and getting on with life. It's as if we are starting this grand experiment called Democracy all over again. Our Commander seems to be very excited about the future and what it will bring, you can tell he is a natural born leader by the way the folks respond to him. He tells us no longer will we be letting a bunch of Elite stand in the shadows and dictate what our country will be, that is left to us to decide like it should have been before they lead us down the path of economic destruction.

Still getting away with Murder...
Today is the 100th Anniversary of the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire.
Readers of this blog will notice a certain resemblance between Max Blanck and Isaac Harris, proprietors of the Triangle Waist Company, and today’s financial industry titans: serial fires (at least 4 previously, apparently at times with excess inventory, all conveniently insured), disregard for risk, blatant violation of governmental regulations and codes, use of corporate veils, aggressive legal representation, friendly “powers that be,” and continued unaltered conduct after the fact. Neither of them ever went to jail: both were beneficiaries of Judge Thomas C.T. Crain’s overly limiting jury charge in their trial for manslaughter in the death of 24-year old Margaret Schwartz, and both were cleared in the death of 23-year old Jacob Klein by Judge Samuel Seabury’s instructions to that jury to find for the defendants. (If you, humble reader, notice a certain pattern in judges named Crain and Seabury presiding in the cases of victims named Schwartz and Klein, let me not dissuade you.)
While Harris does not appear to have come to the notice of the authorities in later life, in just 2 years Blanck was back in court over another locked fire door at his new factory at 79 Fifth Avenue. Chief Justice Isaac Franklin Russell apologized to Blanck for his troubles, and then fined him the mandatory minimum the law provided: $20. No further action.
As for developer and landlord Joseph Asch, nothing. No citation or action regarding the rusted-close standpipe, the rotted inoperable fire hose, or the flimsy, incomplete, and collapsed fire escape. He did renovate the Asch building and add fire prevention aides, including sprinklers – but in August, 1913, the Times thundered that the Fire Commissioner’s visit to the renovated building (still called the Asch by the Times, but already name-changed to the Greenwich Building) “revealed once more the singular carelessness of humanity.” However, the building was not closed nor even cited.
And in 1914 the wrongful death civil suits were settled for $75 per life.
Today, the Triangle Fire commemoration industry is in full swing: TV specials, theatrical productions, street art projects, New York Times blanket coverage, and an expected 10,000 person march from Union Square to the corner of Washington Place and Greene Street ending with a solemn service in memory of the 146 who died in the fire and a speech from US Secretary of Labor Hilda Solis. The tonality of most of these remembrances can be summarized as “This was horrible, but these 146 victims will not be forgotten and their deaths brought us to today’s enlightened and forceful workplace safety standards.” Unfortunately, not true.
Mike Wallace (not that Mike Wallace, this one is Distinguished Professor of History at John Jay College of Criminal Justice of the City University of New York and co-author of the 4.2 pound 1,416 page Gotham) put it far better than I ever could:

Such triumphalism, while inspiring, overlooks the fact that history can run backward, and that gains won can be lost again — and have been, repeatedly. Many of the initial post-Triangle reforms were strenuously opposed by conservative businessmen. Unable at first to prevail amid mass indignation at the fire and shocking revelations about working conditions in the city and state, they were soon back in the saddle and able to halt, hamstring or reverse liberal initiatives.
Not to forget that laws, regulations and codes require enforcement, and enforcement requires not only intent but also appropriations. Both intent and enforcement have been on the decline this century throughout the land, and currently all regulatory appropriations (federal, state and local) are under attack with the convenient excuse of The War on The Deficit. Over the past few years:

Deepwater Horizon – 11 dead, GOM decimated by worst US oil spill
Interestingly, the Deutsche Bank fire brings us back full circle to Triangle: faulty standpipe, inoperable sprinklers, blocked exits, no city inspections, even no permits, and parties that should be indicted but aren’t, including the City of New York for gross negligence. Yes, there are 4 indictments: John Galt and 3 others are currently on trial for second-degree manslaughter, criminally negligent homicide and reckless endangerment. (I would hope that Alan Greenspan and the other Randians have formed the John Galt Defense of Freedom Committee with tax-deductible donations from the Koch brothers and others, but I have no cite.) In Galt’s case, the maximum fine is $10,000 or $5,000 per life, not much off (current-dollar adjusted) the $75 per life paid in 1914.
One final ironic question: what happened to the building? Asch continued to operate the building for manufacturing tenants, until 1915 when NYU began to expand into the building from its Main Building next door; by 1919, NYU occupied all 3 Triangle floors, now renovated. In 1920 Asch sold the building to the Arrow Holding Company, which 4 days later sold it on to Bleecker-Washington Properties, Inc., headed by Aaron Rabinowitz and Maurice Spear. (Maurice Spear later sold Spear Co., Inc., to Harry Helmsley to form Helmsley-Spear. Harry’s second wife was Leona of “We don’t pay taxes. Only the little people pay taxes…” fame.) NYU expanded in the building, taking all of it by 1926. In 1929, Fredrick Brown bought the building from Bleecker-Washington for $700,000 and gave it to NYU the same day. Amid much publicity, NYU renamed it the Brown Building. Brown assumed the building’s $280,000 mortgage and added another $120,000 mortgage on top; he agreed to make all due payments. Unfortunately for NYU, but true to the building’s history, in 1932 Brown ceased making payments and the debt was left for NYU to pay. Nevertheless NYU kept his name on the building, as it is today. “Why were Blanck and Harris rotten risks? They repeatedly had early morning fires when no one was in the factory. There were two fires at their Triangle factory in 1901 (shortly after it opened) and two at their new factory, the Diamond Waist Factory, in 1907. The shirtwaist business had two peak periods in the year. Having a large inventory at the end of the peak period was not good business. Blanck and Harris were able to get rid of the leftover inventory and be reimbursed by the insurance company. Their policies covered all of their losses, or more.
Although Blanck and Harris were never charged with arson or
insurance fraud, the circumstantial evidence of repeated early morning
fires at the end of the busy seasons with full reimbursement from the insurance companies speaks for itself. Too bad this did not come out during their trial.”

I understand that David Von Drehle (Triangle – the Fire that Changed America, Grove Press, 2003) discusses at length the interest of the insurance companies of the time in looking the other way; apparently it had something to do with high premiums and not rocking the boat. Farmageddon! Will Jack-Booted Thugs From the FDA Shut Down the Alternative Food Movement?
“August 22, 2010 The FDA has been very busy protecting the American public health by raiding an organic store in Venice, California with guns drawn and police artillery. The assault was all over organic milk sold at the store and the Los Angeles Times broke the story to the media but not one TV network reported the incident. The silence is deafening.
The police with guns drawn and pointing at the owner raided the Rawsome Foods co-op food store searching for real food and the big agra giants must be very threatened by organic farmers.
Earlier this year the FDA raided an Amish Farm in Pennsylvania
The action of the police is raising a firestorm on the internet and people are enraged at these actions on what is a grocery store that sells real food that is raw vegetables, fruits and wholesome beverages without chemicals. This was under the local police and district attorney but had the blessings of FDA new laws on not allowing organic farms to exist.
Big agriculture and corporate farms are controlling the FDA by forcing politicians to give them no competition from organic farmers. Through huge corporate money buying up a politician is quite easy and politicians like John McCain, Hoe Liberman who wants to control the internet and the FDA’s Margaret Hamburger from Obama’s Chicago group all have corporate interests in their blackened by greed hearts.”

In a total disregard for his health freedom, agents of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) came onto the property of Amish farmer Dan Allgyer, without permission, claiming to be conducting an investigation gents Joshua Schafer and Deborah Haney, from the Delaware FDA office, drove past Allgyer’s "No Trespassing" signs and up his driveway almost to his barn, where Allgyer happened to be outside. Allgyer approached the car, the agents got out and Allgyer asked them why they were there. They produced a piece of paper, asked Allgyer if he was Dan Allgyer, which Allgyer confirmed, asked him his middle initial and phone number, entered the information on the paper, told Allgyer they were there to do an inspection and started reading the paper to him, saying it gave them jurisdiction to be there.
The agents – Schafer did most of the talking – said they had a right to be there because "you produce food for human consumption." Dan asked why they believed that and they said, "Well, you have cows. You cannot be consuming all the milk you produce." They further stated, "If you get a milk truck in to move all this milk you sell milk to the public, therefore we have jurisdiction."
Dan said, "This is a private farm, I do not sell anything to the public."
As they continued to harass him about doing an inspection, Allgyer said, "You can sit in your car. I will call my lawyer."

Change you cannot believe in, Obama doing exactly as he should, and the bottom line
Everywhere one looks, newspapers, blogs, TV etc. people ask the same question, why? Why do people who have broken the laws entrusted to them not get punished? Why do these "leaders" of the so-called free world live wonderful lives with tremendous sums of money in the bank, and roam freely, when by any rational-and legal-criteria they should be tried for treason, war crimes and crimes against humanity, the answer is actually quite simple, plutocracy.
This nation is not, never was and as long as it's current manifestation continues unabated, never will be a democracy, you live in a very corrupt plutocracy, and as such this is precisely what you should expect, it is no mystery. I realize the vast majority of you just want to work your jobs, raise your families and get along in peace, but there are others who have a different agenda, and that agenda is your subjugation, your enslavement through pacification and anesthetization.
In reality if it seems as though at present there is little difference between Republicans and Democrats, that's because there is not, they are simply two factions of a single party. Every since the end of the second world war, and the creation of the military industrial complex under Pres.Truman, the United States government is only concerned with creating global empire. There is an old saying that he who pays the piper calls the tune, and corporations have been calling the tune for a very long time, ignore the cult of personality behind "leaders" like Obama, he has been bought and paid for, here is the truth.
At some point shortly after the creation of television in the 1950s, persons in positions of power not only recognized the usefulness of television as a medium to sell product, but as a means of mass hypnosis, propaganda if you will, and created a soap opera, perhaps the most insidious and deceptive soap opera of all time, the political platforms of the Democratic and Republican Party.
The Republicans play the bad guy, cut and underfund spending on all social infrastructure, including but not limited to, our highway system, transportation system (railroads and light rail), our once magnificent and now dilapidated state parks system, truly adequate financial and medical compensation for the endless stream of veterans that have been created through an endless stream of war, make sure the rich pay an absolute minimum in taxes for anything, shifting the income tax burden to the working poor and middle class, openly align yourself with the religious right (another fundamentalist branch) claim to be tough on crime-creating an entire prison industry for the working poor, but always making sure their corporate and Wall Street criminal buddies steal millions and get off Scott free- claim to be pro-education, yet doing everything in their power to destroy the public school system, always be pro-war and pro-aggression, especially if it's a nation of brown people, right-wingers LOVE to imprison, subjugate and drop bombs on brown people, been doing it for a long time and they're quite good at it.
The Democrats play the role of the goodhearted well-intentioned yet somewhat retarded and spineless younger brother who has to be kept in line by big Brother Republican.

Every time a bill, measure or some other piece of socially significant (something that benefits society or improves civil liberties) legislation is about to be voted on, it can come so....close....to passing, but wait! Here come those mean bullying Republicans and it fails to pass, either in the House, Senate or if necessary, both, but not without a great deal of pre-and post-discussion and "analysis" from so-called political "experts" (who also disproportionately absorb huge salaries) for the show. It fails to pass by a very slim margin, then an exasperated Democrat or Democratic spokesman tells the media- it would've passed (picture the end of any Scooby Doo episode) if it wouldn't have been for those meddling Republicans and unfaithful Democrats! blah, blah, blah, blah cut to car or Viagra commercial.
The truth however, is that it was never intended to pass, by either party, this is a show, with some cowboys wearing the black hats and some wearing the white hats, and is intended to reinforce the illusion (particularly to the uneducated) that there is a Democratic political process going on, which in reality there is not. Just like our endless wars, they are intended to be just that, endless, so as to produce endless profit, for the wealthy, not you of course.
Now I realize that this may seem quite frightening to many of you, that you have been so successfully conditioned to believe that you live in a democracy when you actually do not is a rude awakening, but do you still want to remain asleep? in short, the old paradigm must be completely replaced with a new one, I'm not talking about capitalism versus communism here, (since both are inherently fundamentalist) and until that is accomplished, it's just going to be the same old tired song and dance until any semblance of a true democracy can exist.
Anytime you see some half-baked idiot like Glenn Beck proclaiming his vacuous opinions on anything, anytime you hear the imbecilic musings of a Michele Bachmann or Sarah Palen, which causes Rachel Maddow or any other non-intellectually challenged person to go into meltdown repeat this mantra, I do not live in a democracy, I do not live in a democracy, I do not- live in a democracy, and act and plan your life accordingly, and you will be much more likely to find yourself happy and far ahead of the game of manipulation, subjugation and deceit than you ever thought possible, and that's the bottom line. I remain V.

In the first three decades of the 20th Century, American corporate philanthropy combined with prestigious academic fraud to create the pseudoscience eugenics that institutionalized race politics as national policy. The goal: create a superior, white, Nordic race and obliterate the viability of everyone else.
How? By identifying so-called "defective" family trees and subjecting them to legislated segregation and sterilization programs. The victims: poor people, brown-haired white people, African Americans, immigrants, Indians, Eastern European Jews, the infirm and really anyone classified outside the superior genetic lines drawn up by American raceologists. The eugenic network worked in tandem with the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the State Department and numerous state governmental bodies and legislatures throughout the country, and even the U.S. Supreme Court. They were all bent on breeding a eugenically superior race, just as agronomists would breed better strains of corn. The plan was to wipe away the reproductive capability of the weak and inferior.
Ultimately, 60,000 Americans were coercively sterilized — legally and extra-legally. Many never discovered the truth until decades later. Those who actively supported eugenics include America's most progressive figures: Woodrow Wilson, Margaret Sanger and Oliver Wendell Holmes.
American eugenic crusades proliferated into a worldwide campaign, and in the 1920s came to the attention of Adolf Hitler. Under the Nazis, American eugenic principles were applied without restraint, careening out of control into the Reich's infamous genocide. During the pre-War years, American eugenicists openly supported Germany's program. The Rockefeller Foundation financed the Kaiser Wilhelm Institute and the work of its central racial scientists. Once WWII began, Nazi eugenics turned from mass sterilization and euthanasia to genocidal murder. Civil Disobedience by Henry Thoreau
Living , as we seemingly are, in interesting times and under the rule of [governments and corporations without conscience because they are led by men without conscience] which eerily resemble -and even surpass- those of which Thoreau speaks of in his Civil Disobedience essay, I though it extremely appropriate to bring [back?] to our attention this timeless literary work.
I do so in the hope that it will awaken those still asleep in their manufactured world of superficial comforts and shallow pursuits, as well as strengthen the resolve of those already speaking up and taking action in their quest to make ours a better world, and who wish to make of those actions and words our greatest legacy to future generations, just as Thoreau left us his.

Civil Disobedience
I HEARTILY ACCEPT the motto, — "That government is best which governs least";(1) and I should like to see it acted up to more rapidly and systematically. Carried out, it finally amounts to this, which also I believe, — "That government is best which governs not at all"; and when men are prepared for it, that will be the kind of government which they will have. Government is at best but an expedient; but most governments are usually, and all governments are sometimes, inexpedient. The objections which have been brought against a standing army, and they are many and weighty, and deserve to prevail, may also at last be brought against a standing government. The standing army is only an arm of the standing government. The government itself, which is only the mode which the people have chosen to execute their will, is equally liable to be abused and perverted before the people can act through it. Witness the present Mexican war,(2) the work of comparatively a few individuals using the standing government as their tool; for, in the outset, the people would not have consented to this measure.
[2] This American government — what is it but a tradition, though a recent one, endeavoring to transmit itself unimpaired to posterity, but each instant losing some of its integrity? It has not the vitality and force of a single living man; for a single man can bend it to his will. It is a sort of wooden gun to the people themselves. But it is not the less necessary for this; for the people must have some complicated machinery or other, and hear its din, to satisfy that idea of government which they have. Governments show thus how successfully men can be imposed on, even impose on themselves, for their own advantage. It is excellent, we must all allow. Yet this government never of itself furthered any enterprise, but by the alacrity with which it got out of its way. It does not keep the country free. It does not settle the West. It does not educate. The character inherent in the American people has done all that has been accomplished; and it would have done somewhat more, if the government had not sometimes got in its way. For government is an expedient by which men would fain succeed in letting one another alone; and, as has been said, when it is most expedient, the governed are most let alone by it. Trade and commerce, if they were not made of India rubber,(3) would never manage to bounce over the obstacles which legislators are continually putting in their way; and, if one were to judge these men wholly by the effects of their actions, and not partly by their intentions, they would deserve to be classed and punished with those mischievous persons who put obstructions on the railroads.
[3] But, to speak practically and as a citizen, unlike those who call themselves no-government men,(4) I ask for, not at once no government, but at once a better government. Let every man make known what kind of government would command his respect, and that will be one step toward obtaining it.
[4] After all, the practical reason why, when the power is once in the hands of the people, a majority are permitted, and for a long period continue, to rule, is not because they are most likely to be in the right, nor because this seems fairest to the minority, but because they are physically the strongest. But a government in which the majority rule in all cases cannot be based on justice, even as far as men understand it. Can there not be a government in which majorities do not virtually decide right and wrong, but conscience? — in which majorities decide only those questions to which the rule of expediency is applicable? Must the citizen ever for a moment, or in the least degree, resign his conscience to the legislator? Why has every man a conscience, then? I think that we should be men first, and subjects afterward. It is not desirable to cultivate a respect for the law, so much as for the right. The only obligation which I have a right to assume is to do at any time what I think right. It is truly enough said that a corporation has no conscience; but a corporation of conscientious men is a corporation with a conscience. Law never made men a whit more just; and, by means of their respect for it, even the well-disposed are daily made the agents of injustice. A common and natural result of an undue respect for law is, that you may see a file of soldiers, colonel, captain, corporal, privates, powder-monkeys,(5) and all, marching in admirable order over hill and dale to the wars, against their wills, ay, against their common sense and consciences, which makes it very steep marching indeed, and produces a palpitation of the heart. They have no doubt that it is a damnable business in which they are concerned; they are all peaceably inclined. Now, what are they? Men at all? or small movable forts and magazines, at the service of some unscrupulous man in power? Visit the Navy Yard, and behold a marine, such a man as an American government can make, or such as it can make a man with its black arts — a mere shadow and reminiscence of humanity, a man laid out alive and standing, and already, as one may say, buried under arms with funeral accompaniments, though it may be

[5] The mass of men serve the state thus, not as men mainly, but as machines, with their bodies. They are the standing army, and the militia, jailers, constables, posse comitatus,(7) etc. In most cases there is no free exercise whatever of the judgment or of the moral sense; but they put themselves on a level with wood and earth and stones; and wooden men can perhaps be manufactured that will serve the purpose as well. Such command no more respect than men of straw or a lump of dirt. They have the same sort of worth only as horses and dogs. Yet such as these even are commonly esteemed good citizens. Others, as most legislators, politicians, lawyers, ministers, and office-holders, serve the state chiefly with their heads; and, as they rarely make any moral distinctions, they are as likely to serve the devil, without intending it, as God. A very few, as heroes, patriots, martyrs, reformers in the great sense, and men, serve the state with their consciences also, and so necessarily resist it for the most part; and they are commonly treated as enemies by it. A wise man will only be useful as a man, and will not submit to be "clay," and "stop a hole to keep the wind away,"(8) but leave that office to his dust at least: —
"I am too high-born to be propertied,
To be a secondary at control,
Or useful serving-man and instrument
To any sovereign state throughout the world."(9)

Have you ever thought to stop and think what taxation really is?
Taxation is nothing but theft. Why? Because it is not voluntary. Taxation is extortion at gunpoint! If you do not hand over money, men in costumes, with signs and guns will come and arrest you and throw you in a cage. If you still refuse to pay and you own property, the government will more than likely cease that property and sell it.
Working for the benefit of others against your will is nothing but slavery. When money is stolen from you in the name of taxation, the government is forcing you to work against your will for them. When you let the government steal from you, you are their slave. The injustice of seizing by force the fruits of a person’s labor is never considered by those who push taxation and redistribution, that is because slavery cannot be justified.
Government is nothing but force. It holds a legal monopoly to use violence on you. Government makes people do things that they don't want to do, stops people from doing things that they do want to do, and those demands are always backed up by police with guns.

When I was a young teen, porn was quite the precious commodity. You couldn’t just grab your iPhone out of your pocket and go to XXXBigButtHoneysFuckySucky.com and have two women licking each other’s unmentionables at a moments notice. You had to work for it. It came down to either shoplifting it from the local newsagents, finding what used to be known as “forest, or woods porn” (more on this later) or nicking some from your mate’s dad’s stash.
The late 90’s was all about sitting up late at night with SBS on mute, waiting for Weather Woman or Chinese Ghost Stories. That moment where all the waiting was finally rewarded with a brief flash of tit or – no way – is that vag? That moment was always spectacular and well worth the effort.
Let’s travel forward through time a little. . . . .

Anonnews.org claims to serve decentralized hacker group Anonymous as its central source of information, including targets and Anonymous press releases, which anyone can submit.
A number of Internet users frequenting both the chronicle.SU and anonnews.org websites discovered that the website selectively runs articles that only fall in line with the agenda of the U.S. Government, and brought this to the attention of chronicle.SU senior executives.

As perhaps only a handful of our readers know, anonnews.org, whose slogan is Everything Anonymous, actively deletes any and all content submissions originating from chronicle.SU. We have fought this for a long time, out of fairness to Anonymous and outside objectors, but we too have come to realize anonnews.org is either owned by, or in collusion with, various government agencies.
