The Virtual Cocoon engages all five senses. All we are missing is the hover chair and slurpy food, and the movie "Wall-E" will have to be reclassified as "Non-Fiction".
A virtual reality helmet that recreates the sights, smells, sounds and even tastes of far-flung destinations has been devised by British scientists.
The device will allow users a life-like experience of places such as Kenya's Masai Mara while sitting on their sofa.
They can also enjoy the smell of flowers in an Alpine meadow or feel the heat of the Caribbean sun on their face.
...
Scientists say the device will also enable users to greet friends and family on the other side of the world as though they were in the same room.
And students will even be able to find out what it was like to live in ancient Egypt, Rome or Greece.
Previously, scientists have only been able to use virtual reality technology to recreate sound and vision.
Now a team of British academics from York and Warwick universities are creating a virtual reality helmet they are calling the Virtual Cocoon.
They say it stimulates the senses so convincingly they have called the experience Real Virtuality...The Virtual Cocoon engages all five senses. All we are missing is the hover chair and... more

As you know, I am a former graduated EMT and I end up to learn this on the hard way. Last Year I caught an ear infection that woke me up very quickly! The blessing of earplugs is that will help you abate sometimes and for certain noise from 45% to 65% of the noise pollution on the surroundings perimeter. However here goes the down turn. Earplugs must be sanitized and cleaned at all times before you insert it in your ears and in addition you can not use it for long periods of time and I explain why!
1. The limited time of hours of use is because our body produce wax daily through the ears and if there are a build up of wax and it drops back into your Chochlea and Eustachian Tube; it has knowing to cause tinnitus or as we common refer to it; "ring of the ears"
2. The second point it is sanitation as I did mentioned before!
3. Third it does not block all noise. As an example, the Electrical Muni Bus whistles still coming through even with the plugs tucked in. It is even worse because as the sound still invading our bodies we have that tendency to push the plugs in causing some pain in and around the ear cartilage.http://www.en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eardrum

When TV was invented, the original inventors dreamed that from its invention, it would be happening a social and economic revolution and in the process greatly benefit education. If anyone got the time to read some history about the invention of the Television, here is a link.

Television still holding the mass audience in the United States. This war was fabricated in part by Controlled Television Network Production! I do Thank Current Networks for the opportunity to express myself. However being part of it raise my feelings to make it better for people, for education and the environment. There are a lots of things that TV can do right now to refine its programming towards human education and development. Here is a little personal history. I guess many of you already know I love Radio. Not so long ago Radio was controlled and as they say democratically free. What that means? It means that people still controlling it but the musical programing was done by a popular voting system. My GOD, at some point it got so bad that I could not listen to it any longer. That means that some times the majority that is out there voting are not always into quality but into making wars. It become a daily shooting out game of destruction. I am not sure if that changed because I stopped listening to it. Now, just recently I had the opportunity to create a radio station to air something that is at least pleasant to ear it. Sure everything has its time and what is there is not everything but a little sample of Modern Rock and Roll.
So, what is the point here. The point is that the some majority are not always right and that we need help from our own Network to be able to reach that maximum audience numbers as possible with our Environmental News Release. I hope all you guys at the TVNEWS editorial board are willing to help us to do this. We do not want to settled to be only a Cyber Journal! We want to be Cyber Journal, TV, Internet, Magazine, Film, Theater and anything you can think about out there!
I personally have the goal to reach the biggest population ever with my human health environmental message! We got to change that wrong perception out there and there are a lots things Current TV Networks can do to help us out.

Check out all the disable individuals getting off of the bus. Poor people, they all have some kind of a problem and they all need a noise signal to orientate themselves. (Sorry about the cynicism, but I can not help!) I have been acoustically harassed for 7 consecutive Years.
So our Mayor wants to be the environmental Mayor? Ok! Let us see if he qualifies:
1. Our Public Transportation is the most acoustic polluted form of transport in the Bay Area and probably in the USA.
2. Our Public Traffic is brutal, uneducated and air pollution is all time high.
3. Noise is everywhere, anyone can harass anyone without further questions with beep signals, car alarms, car alarms special effects remote control door locks.
4. There are acoustic Terrorists in the Government and in the Public challenging Neighborhoods airspace everywhere.
5. Harley's and private cars with modified mufflers are free to run and speed in town at anytime; (Especially on weekends); terrorizing the whole population.
6. Every Weekend the "show down starts," quite a spectacle of combined social ignorance.
7. Many have the misconception that because we are in the City, everything goes. Just be quiet and enjoy the chaos and the crime ruling our lives until 4:00 AM!
Mr. Mayor, Looks like your qualifications are up to the task isn't?
Ps: These signals have the power to reach 150-250 feet around the perimeter invading most buildings rooms on its path. Programmed acoustic torture at its best.Check out all the disable individuals getting off of the bus. Poor people, they all... more

Rock and roll ain’t noise pollution – at least not according to AC/DC.
I beg to differ. I think anything that’s too loud is aurally contaminating. I don’t care how good the groove is; whatever it is can be listened to at a reasonable volume. You kids get the hell off my lawn.

With Earth Day coming up next week, it is time for us to bring a new optimism into what we do, how we think, and how we inspire others regarding our planet and in solving the climate crisis. Al Gore brings a refreshing new look to this crisis and the opportunity we have as the generation with the challenge of solving it with his TED talk. I want my child to ask the question in years to come: how did you find the moral fortitude to solve this crisis and leave future generations with a sustainable planet. The other question is simply not an option.

On April 8, 2008 presidential contender Hillary Rodham Clinton's statement regarding the appointment of Director Kennington-Gardinera included directing the new NY airspace czar to include the environmental impacts on residential communities in any criteria to address the metro area's congestion and delays (see below).
The New Jersey Coalition Against Aircraft Noise (NJCAAN) appreciates Clinton's statement that includes consideration regarding the health impacts generated by the aviation industry in the metro area. One clear way to address delays would be to utilize the restricted offshore military airspace for commercial aircraft. The military utilizes this airspace for training purposes. The unintended consequence is to force more commercial aircraft over residential communities.

Statement of Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton Regarding the Appointment of
the Director for the Federal Aviation Administration's New York Integration Office
"I am pleased that the FAA has finally taken action to appoint someone who can take a comprehensive look at the problems with our airspace. I certainly hope that Director Kennington-Gardinera will immediately begin the critical task of evaluating congestion at every step of the flight process, including the impact of flights over residential areas. While we must take action immediately to end the problems that plague our airports and airspace, any plans moving forward must also consider the quality of life for those people living in current and proposed flight paths. This is a quality of life issue for travelers as well as residents and this is our best chance to make sure everyone's concerns are heard."
Late last year, Senator Clinton joined her colleagues in the New York and New Jersey congressional delegation in calling for the appointment of an "airspace czar" to evaluate congestion at every step of the flight process - from tower control, to the TRACON, to the routing center.

Sir, We need to be the teachers of Ethics and the Law, observing Human Rights principals, and not this actual denial and submissive entity of this actual Environmental and Human Health abuse and corruption living inside of San Francisco Government Body.
I appreciate your help with this matter so we can continue to other City Crime Cases also happening right now.

The study of human anatomy and physiology.
Is not a question to say that I have never done it, but observing people through history I sense how many take their body for granted. Man and Women takes their bodies for granted when they move or do the simple daily tasks of living. Because we just do it we do not stop to think about how marvelous is to walk, to talk, to see, to hear, to smell, to taste and so forth. Just think about that for a moment here, and follow me into this conversation, that will takes us to learn and understand our body physiological function, making life happening every day. We get cut and our skin repair itself miraculously, next day or two, nothing, sometimes not even a scar left behind and we are ready to go. Think about this! The study of human anatomy and physiology.
