Lesbians and gay men are more likely to molest their children than a straight couple.
A study in Adolescence found: A disproportionate percentage--29 percent--of the adult children of homosexual parents had been specifically subjected to sexual molestation by that homosexual parent, compared to only 0.6 percent of adult children of heterosexual parents having reported sexual relations with their parent...Having a homosexual parent(s) appears to increase the risk of incest with a parent by a factor of about 50.60

There are forces in America that want to make it mandatory for U.S. churches to hire GAYS. Eric Holder, U.S. Attorney General, is already in communication with groups that support this attack on our U.S. Constitutional right to practice our religion without government interference.
Included in the groups are the Anti-Defamation League, the American Jewish Committee, B'nai B'rith International, Central Conference of American Rabbis, Hadassah, Jewish Council for Public Affairs, National Council of Jewish Women, Na'amat USA, Rabbinical Assembly, Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism and Women of Reform Judaism. http://www.rense.com/general87/jewishg.htm

Yogyakarta Principles: “PRINCIPLE 21. THE RIGHT TO FREEDOM OF THOUGHT, CONSCIENCE AND RELIGION. Everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity. These rights may not be invoked by the State to justify laws, policies or practices which deny equal protection of the law, or discriminate, on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity.”
“The so-called Yogyakarta Principles implicitly calls for governments to invade religion and override religious doctrines or practices. This imposition contradicts the very purpose of my church which is to become morally clean, pure, and undefiled from the world.” – Reid BaerThere are forces in America that want to make it mandatory for U.S. churches to hire... more
President Obama has appointed Chai R. Feldblum to the Employment Opportunity Commission, the federal agency which enforces workplace civil rights laws. If confirmed, Ms. Feldblum would serve five years on the EEOC and issue edicts that will impact all areas of employment.
Feldblum has worked for the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), the pro-homosexual Human Rights Campaign Fund and she founded something called the Moral Values Project, a “gender equity” group.

On Sunday (06-28-09) was the 36th Annual San Francisco LGBT Pride Parade.
The gay community gathered on a joyful march along Market Street in the spirit of its celebration theme: "In order to form a more perfect union…"
Mayor Gavin Newson e other local authorities participated on this event to show their support and commitment to preserve everyone's civil rights.
This event that usually attracts a joyful crowd this year seemed to have motivated everyone to come out. It felt like the rainbow was attracting everyone to show their support to marriage and family equality.
Prop. 8 gave the gay community a sense of union that is beyond the aspect of civil union. It made us realize that denying lawful recognition to longtime commitment among same gender couples affects the lives of their children as well.
The thought that children of same sex gender grew up by under the social stigma of their illegitimacy status, it's enough reason to recognize that Prop. 8 is extremely unfair!
Meanwhile, gays everywhere shall stand up and keep on shouting out loud: "homophobia got to go!"On Sunday (06-28-09) was the 36th Annual San Francisco LGBT Pride Parade.

In the light of recent events that have taken place in the state of California, many people have decided that it’s time to take matters into our own hands. We will not sit back and let the rest of the world decide what we can and cannot do in America the Free.
We have borrowed from the Chicano movement and modified their "Day without a Mexican" into "Day without a Gay."
This concept is simple, but makes a huge impact.
On December 10th, 2008 we ask that all people in the LGBT community and all of our supporters call in sick to work and do not attend school. We ask that you do not purchase anything that day. We want California to see how many of us there are, and that there may be a person in their life that they didn’t know was gay.
Please join us. I know, personally, how extremely difficult it can be to come out and be open about yourself. I have overcome my fear, and I hope that all of you are able to as well.
We need to stand strong in California, and around the country. We need those that oppose us to know that we are strong and that we will NEVER GIVE UP.
Join us, and gain your equality. **this is not restricted to California**

Whatever you believe in the nature vs. nurture argument over homosexuality’s cause, the issue of marriage has been trivialized by many straight couples, while numerous same-sex couples are fighting for their chance to experience the happiness that the true, loving, lasting marriages have the opportunity to feel.Whatever you believe in the nature vs. nurture argument over homosexuality’s cause,... more
Yes, that's right! You may not know it but nature has homosexuality as well.
There goes that argument that homosexuality isn't natural, amirite?
This is a well known FACT, yet homophobes refuse to accept this.
Quote:
Roy and Silo, two male chinstrap penguins at New York's Central Park Zoo have been inseparable for six years now. They display classic pair-bonding behavior—entwining of necks, mutual preening, flipper flapping, and the rest. They also have sex, while ignoring potential female mates.
Wild birds exhibit similar behavior. There are male ostriches that only court their own gender, and pairs of male flamingos that mate, build nests, and even raise foster chicks. Yes, that's right! You may not know it but nature has homosexuality as well.

A comment made to my post yesterday made me think about this whole phenomenon that gay people experience-having to (or being asked to) explain their 'lifestyle' to whomever asks. I wonder, why is it that people believe that their most effective punishment, or conversion tool, or perhaps reparative therapy technique toward a gay person is to limit or cease relationship with that person? In response to gay groups criticizing their music, the Reggae community has decided to unite and stage a Straight Pride Parade on August 31st in Crown Heights in Brooklyn, the day before the annual West Indian Labor Day Parade. Not only is it absurd, it's actually offensive the longer I think about it. Whatever happened to reggae ideals of peace and mutual tolerance? Maybe it's the new strain of ganja everyone is smoking?
But sadly after doing more research we discovered that reggae singers have a long history of gay intolerance. There was a breakthrough last year when The Stop Murder Music Campaign, a group that's been trying to get reggae and dance hall artists to stop promoting anti-gay violence, harassment, and bigotry through lyrics in their music finally got prominent reggae and dance hall artists to agree and sign the Reggae Compassionate Act. Clearly, however, it seems the atmosphere of intolerance still continues.
A snippet from their press release: "The Straight Pride Parade is a chance for Heterosexuals to gather together and proudly embrace their sexuality. The Parade will also allow reggae and dancehall fans who are in New York City for the Labor Day celebrations to get together and celebrate reggae, dancehall and family in love and unity. Adults are encouraged to bring their children along for the celebrations, as the event will be family oriented."

Myth: Domestic vioence doesn't exist among same-sex couples
Fact: At least one in four gay and lesbian partners wil experience domestic violence in his or her lifetime.
Gay and lesbian couples experience the same issues of power and control as heterosexual couples. This may manifest itself in physical, sexual, verbal and economic abuse.
A major barrier to recognizing abuse. in same-sex couples is that domestic violence has traditionnaly been portrayed as a heterosexual issue with male perpetrators and female victims.
There is a strong feeling in the lesbian community that lesbians are not violent. That is simply not the case.
Studies show that as many as a thrid of lesbians have been victims of sexual assault or coercion at the hands of another woman.

"Gays in the army are unsuitable". That is according to General Mauro Del Vecchio, interviewed online by Klaus Davi for "KlausCondicio". "I respect any legitimate and lawful choice by a person - says Del Vecchio first of all - but I believe that in a structure like the army, where activities are always carried out together, it is advisable not to declare or reveal one's homosexuality. Also in my career I have encountered homosexual incidents and I acted in such a way that these situations would not happen again and those involved were relocated and employed in other areas". "In any case - he assures - I have never dismissed anybody from the army for being gay".

Anyone who is gay in the military gives up their life to their country in more ways then one. If General Del Vecchio thinks that is unsuitable then he has misunderstood what a true call to duty means.
