Yes, that's right! You may not know it but nature has homosexuality as well.
There goes that argument that homosexuality isn't natural, amirite?
This is a well known FACT, yet homophobes refuse to accept this.

I wonder, why is it that people believe that their most effective punishment, or conversion tool, or perhaps reparative therapy technique toward a gay person is to limit or cease relationship with that person? Members of the Westboro Baptist Church stopped by Schofield Barracks, an Army post in Hawaii, for crumpets and tea. Actually, they came to spread hate and hurt whomever they could with nasty words and ugly signs. It's astonishing that these are actually REAL people. In response to gay groups criticizing their music, the Reggae community has decided to unite and stage a Straight Pride Parade on August 31st in Crown Heights in Brooklyn, the day before the annual West Indian Labor Day Parade. Not only is it absurd, it's actually offensive the longer I think about it. Whatever happened to reggae ideals of peace and mutual tolerance? Maybe it's the new strain of ganja everyone is smoking?
But sadly after doing more research we discovered that reggae singers have a long history of gay intolerance. There was a breakthrough last year when The Stop Murder Music Campaign, a group that's been trying to get reggae and dance hall artists to stop promoting anti-gay violence, harassment, and bigotry through lyrics in their music finally got prominent reggae and dance hall artists to agree and sign the Reggae Compassionate Act. Clearly, however, it seems the atmosphere of intolerance still continues.
A snippet from their press release: "The Straight Pride Parade is a chance for Heterosexuals to gather together and proudly embrace their sexuality. The Parade will also allow reggae and dancehall fans who are in New York City for the Labor Day celebrations to get together and celebrate reggae, dancehall and family in love and unity. Adults are encouraged to bring their children along for the celebrations, as the event will be family oriented."

Myth: Domestic vioence doesn't exist among same-sex couples
Fact: At least one in four gay and lesbian partners wil experience domestic violence in his or her lifetime.
Gay and lesbian couples experience the same issues of power and control as heterosexual couples. This may manifest itself in physical, sexual,verbal and economic abuse.
A major barrier to recognizing abuse. in same-sex couples is that domestic violence has traditionnaly been portrayed as a heterosexual issue with male perpetrators and female victims.
There is a strong feeling in the lesbian community that lesbians are not violent. That is simply not the case.
Studies show that as many as a thrid of lesbians have been victims of sexual assault or coercion at the hands of another woman.

"I respect any legitimate and lawful choice by a person - says Del Vecchio first of all - but I believe that in a structure like the army, where activities are always carried out together, it is advisable not to declare or reveal one's homosexuality. Also in my career I have encountered homosexual incidents and I acted in such a way that these situations would not happen again and those involved were relocated and employed in other areas". Military veterans discharged under the Pentagon's ban on openly gay and lesbian service members may receive benefits through the state under a bill being considered by the Massachusetts state senate.
Carl Sciortino is sponsoring the bill, which would require the Executive Office of Veterans Affairs to provide soldiers discharged under "don't ask, don't tell" tax breaks and other benefits offered to heterosexual veterans, according to the Somerville Journal, a local newspaper. Federal benefits would not apply under this proposed legislation.
Senators Scott Brown and Thomas McGee, cochair of the Committee on Veterans and Federal Affairs, are wary of the legislation, however. They cautioned that the bill may put federal funds at risk by going against strict policies. (The Advocate)

Connecticut’s ACLU wants H&R Block to allow gay couples to file state taxes online

Connecticut’s American Civil Liberties Union chapter demanded Tuesday that H&R Block Inc. change its tax preparation system to allow gay couples in civil unions there to file state taxes online.
ACLU is representing a Hartford couple who allege Block’s online system wouldn’t allow them to file their Connecticut state taxes online and told them, via an online message, that Block “doesn’t support Connecticut civil unions.”
Block spokeswoman Denise Sposato said that the Kansas City company is not discriminating against anyone, but is hamstrung by the close degree to which tax form entries in states follow those on federal returns.
