A Kenyan man has survived a mammoth scrap with a python that lasted a whopping three hours, after the snake wrapped itself around him and yanked him up into a tree. He managed to survive after biting it on the tail and smothering its head with his t-shirt so it couldn't bite him.
"I stepped on a spongy thing on the ground and suddenly my leg was entangled with the body of a huge python," Nyaumbe told a Kenyan newspaper. "I had to bite it as I struggled, one hand incapacitated," he said.
He managed to pull out his mobile phone and call for help. When policeman and his supervisor arrived, they tied a rope around Nyaumbe and the python and pulled them both out of the tree.
The 13ft snake was captured and taken to a sanctuary but escaped and remains at large. Could a rematch be on the cards?A Kenyan man has survived a mammoth scrap with a python that lasted a whopping three... more
