Each year Q's House chooses one artist as their "Artist Of The Year" Radio winner. The top 8 artists come from listener feedback, number of emails and podcast downloads. Judges are venue owners, booking agents, other musicians, music lawyers, publicists and radio DJ's. Their final decision is based on the artists music, web presence and their own professional opinion.
The Big Rock Show has been supportive of Q's House winners for the past few years and as part of the prize packages offered ~ are granted an exclusive interview on TBRS. This year, Q's House winners for "Artist Of The Year" are Super bob. Discussions focus on Super bob's new disk, their recently released video for "Superfly", the possibility of more video's in the near future, voice lessons, label support, Matt's personal opinion on "buying" on a tour, and much more!

Mike Levine, one of the founding members, and bassist of Triumph, makes a return visit to The Big Rock Show! Celebrating Triumph's 30th Anniversary on September 19th of this year, and in honor of the event, the band have reissued Triumph's classic breakthrough album, 1981's "Allied Forces" as a killer vinyl package! Discussions include the decision to reissue "Allied Forces" as a 30th Anniversary vinyl edition, the differences between making a vinyl album today~as opposed to 1981, memories from that year and more! Mike also takes the time to explain, in quite some detail, on what it would take for the band to tour, and why they haven't yet.
"Allied Forces" was certified Platinum, and has gone on to sell an impressive 2.5 million copies worldwide and spawned two of Triumph's most beloved and enduring arena rock anthems – "Fight the Good Fight" and "Magic Power", both of which are played on the show.
