AC/DC To Release An 'Iron Man 2' Soundtrack Compilation Album
Even though "Back in Black" played shortly before the attack that would lead to Tony Stark's Iron Man transformation, for whatever reason rockers AC/DC got the shaft on the first IM movie soundtrack. Fans need not worry, however, a new release in conjunction with "Iron Man 2" sees the band redeemed fifteenfold.
Marvel and partners Columbia Records have announced that AC/DC will release "AC/DC: Iron Man2," a compilation/soundtrack stocked with 15 songs culled from 10 of the band's albums.
Beyond being known for their powerful live performances, Twisted Roots has always been a band that evolved with each and every release. Their latest offering "Vol 1" is no exception to the rules either. Described as a cross between early Black Sabbath, STP, and the Stone Temple Pilots, the bands first single "Hollow Earth" has been gaining steady airplay on both terrestrial and internet radio stations across the country.
Twisted Roots "Hollow Earth" pays homage to the legend of the "hollow earth"... a second subterranean earth populated by an advanced civilization. The Hollow Earth video puts an unusual but exciting spin on this story. Without giving too much away... the story is told through the eyes of the denizens of the Hollow Earth. The video is produced by Zenfilm and is was shot on locations both above and below Houston, TX. Twisted Roots flew to Texas for the performance portion of the video which was filmed on a specially equipped Houston Soundstage. The narrative portion of the film was shot in the labyrinthine tunnels beneath Houston's multimillion square foot George R. Brown Convention Center... this location was dressed to recreate the lives of our two young protagonists and denizens of the Hollow Earth. The world premier of this HD video is scheduled to be released in early June 09 and run will appear on most major music networks shortly there after.
The video is being lensed by the award winning creative team of director W. Ross Wells and cinematographer Wayne Forster who have created a number of national and internationally released music videos for a variety of recording artists.

In the first video from Ronny Munroe's blistering solo album "The Fire Within", our hero is the subject of some rather interesting, and disturbing behavior modification therapy. The lines between fantasy and reality become rather blurry....

Meet the new Joint. Same as the old Joint? Not exactly. The second incarnation of the Hard Rock Hotel’s iconic music venue looks a lot like the first, a recent hard-hat tour confirms, but will be markedly different in several respects.
Of course, it’s too soon to say how the new venue will sound, but standing onstage peering out across what will soon be a sold-out sea for The Killers (April 17), Paul McCartney (April 19), Kenny Chesney (April 25) and, no doubt, Bon Jovi (April 24), there’s no denying the new Joint already looks like a more majestic—and user friendly—place to see a favorite band.
Interview with 'Fletch' of Redlock. Includes 2 never before heard songs off the bands recently released album entitled "Pull Yourself Together". Songs include "Day To Burn" and "Wake Me".
Interview with Kip Winger, includes 2 brand new songs off Wingers recently released album entitled "Karma". Songs include the first track off the new disk "Deal With The Devil", and "Stone Cold Killer".
Interview with George Lynch. Includes 2 tracks off Lynch Mob's recently released album entitled "Smoke And Mirrors". Songs include the title track "Smoke and Mirrors" as well as "21st Century Man".
