Oh you mean you didn't know that misogynistic religious extremists in Israel are forcing women to sit at the back of some buses?
Oh dear where are all the UN speeches and comments to the American media from that pious champion of women's rights, Hillary Clinton?
***
Tanya Rosenbilt, the Israeli woman who refused to move to the back of the bus when told to do so by an ultra-Orthodox male passenger last month, said Wednesday that she had received several death threats.
Rosenbilt, hailed as the "Israeli Rosa Parks," filed a complaint to the Yarkon District police after she had received threats through the phone, email, and Facebook.
Rosenbilt made headlines last month when she refused to let an ultra-Orthodox man dictate where she can sit on a public bus traveling from Ashdod to Jerusalem. When she refused to move to the back of the bus, the man held the door openand would allow it to move for approximately 30 minutes.
When other passengers began to complain about the delay, the driver called the police. The policeman who arrived on the scene spoke with the man and then also asked Rosenblit to move to the back of the bus. When she refused, the man who had been holding the door alighted and the bus continued on its way.Oh you mean you didn't know that misogynistic religious extremists in Israel are... more

The grasping US Congress, its Zionist paymasters using lies as convenient props and the world’s nuclear nurds all seemingly favour Armageddon. Well, get on with it! Norfolk— The father of a young woman killed in what prosecutors called a drunk-driving crash attacked the defense attorney outside court on Tuesday, moments after the jury acquitted the driver of causing two deaths and severely hurting a third passenger.
Simon Kok, a retired New York detective and father of 22-year-old Lauren Kok, charged at defense attorney Andrew Sacks outside of Norfolk Circuit Court. Kok was restrained by a police officer who had testified in the trial, but not before Kok knocked over Sacks' file boxes an kicked the attorney's luggage cart.
The confrontation came as NewsChannel 3 was interviewing the defense attorney about the verdict. Kok, a soft-spoken man from Staten Island, was angered in part because of Sacks' suggestions to the jury about his daughter. Sacks said that Lauren Kok - the only person sober in the car - might have engaged in some kind of "sexual shenanigans" in the back seat. That, according to Sacks, was part of a series of distractions that contributed to the crash. The lawyer based that on a paramedic who said he found Lauren outside the crashed car without her pants.
Special Prosecutor B. Thomas Reed said Lauren's pants probably ripped as bystanders pulled her from the crumpled and burning wreckage. He told the jury the defense speculations were "absurd." A surviving passenger, Ryan Petrosky, testified none of the passengers did anything to distract Freeman. The crash killed Lauren Kok and Cameron Richardson. Rear-seat passengers Ryan Petrosky and Thomas Jaskel survived, but Jaskel, a former Navy helicopter pilot, is paralyzed and severely brain damaged. Richard B. Freeman III had been charged with aggravated involuntary manslaughter and maiming, but the jury declared him not guilty on all charges.
None of the four passengers in the car knew the driver. The four accepted a ride from Freeman when they could not reach a cab company at closing time at the Red Dog Saloon on Colley Avenue in July, 2009. According to testimony, the four thought Freeman was sober, but a hospital blood test after the crash showed he was among the most intoxicated. A toxicologist said his blood-alcohol concentration was at least 0.10, over the state's legal limit of 0.08.

Courtney Bowles, 31 year old teacher from Loveland, Colorado, who was caught naked in car with student, has been ordered to serve 10 years of supervised sex offender probation. No Jail.
Bowles was arrested in January Bowles when she was still working as an instructional coach and volunteering as sponsor of a student group at the Loveland high school - a police officer found her naked in a compromising position with a 16-year-old student. The two were in her car in North Lake Park after hours after a school function. She pleaded guilty to child abuse causing serious bodily injury with a sexual basis. The felony charge is less severe than the sexual assault on a child charge with which she was originally charged.
She is now allowed to see her children after being barred from them since her arrest, although she is still barred from seeing other minors under the age of 18. Her husband, who attended her first hearings at her side, has since filed for divorce.

A federal district judge in Virginia ruled on Monday that the keystone provision in the Obama health care law is unconstitutional, becoming the first court in the country to invalidate any part of the sprawling act and ensuring that appellate courts will receive contradictory opinions from below.
Multimedia
Judge Henry E. Hudson, who was appointed to the bench by President George W. Bush, declined the plaintiff’s request to freeze implementation of the law pending appeal, meaning that there should be no immediate effect on the ongoing rollout of the law. But the ruling is likely to create confusion among the public and further destabilize political support for legislation that is under fierce attack from Republicans in Congress and in many statehouses.
In a 42-page opinion issued in Richmond, Va., Judge Hudson wrote that the law’s central requirement that most Americans obtain health insurance exceeds the regulatory authority granted to Congress under the Commerce Clause of the Constitution. The insurance mandate is central to the law’s mission of covering more than 30 million uninsured because insurers argue that only by requiring healthy people to have policies can they afford to treat those with expensive chronic conditions.
The judge wrote that his survey of case law “yielded no reported decisions from any federal appellate courts extending the Commerce Clause or General Welfare Clause to encompass regulation of a person’s decision not to purchase a product, not withstanding its effect on interstate commerce or role in a global regulatory scheme.”

If there's one outcome of the Juan Williams firing that should surprise no one, it's that the right has jumped to his defense and condemned the desecration of his first amendment rights by the evil left-wing NPR.
But what many of these conservative pundits have forgotten is how they sang a slightly different tune when certain other journalists were let go for making comments that offended the right.
Let's take a look back...
Just a few weeks ago, Bill O'Reilly defended CNN's decision to fire Rick Sanchez, since the network "sells their credibility as a hard news organization" and Sanchez "is supposedly representing CNN."
Cliff May wrote on the National Review's "The Corner" blog that "NPR has its own interpretation of sharia, and Juan violated it -- and paid the price."
As for Helen Thomas, May wrote a letter to Hearst calling for the news organization to "cut all ties with her as quickly as possible" because her "outburst of unbridled anti-Semitism makes it clear that she sides with those who see a second Holocaust as a 'final solution.'"
Bill O'Reilly decried the Williams firing on Fox News today, calling it "outrageous." He continued:
Of course, no controversy would be complete without a Sarah Palin tweet, which she provided today:
NPR defends 1st Amendment Right, but will fire u if u exercise it. Juan Williams: u got taste of Left's hypocrisy, they screwed up firing you
But about the Helen Thomas controversy, she (a touch incomprehensibly) tweeted:

The former England captain, who is on loan to AC Milan from the Los Angeles Galaxy, was giving an interview outside a hotel when Elena Di Cioccio bent down and squeezed him between the legs.
The stunt was a “test” to see whether the football star measured up to his photo in Armani billboards, in which he shows off his impressive physique in a pair of tight-fitting underpants.
Beckham looked shocked and immediately backed away after being touched by the blonde-haired TV reporter, a star of the satirical show Le Iene (The Hyenas).
As security guards closed ranks around the 34-year-old midfielder, Miss Di Cioccio was chased down the street yelling “E piccolo, Beckham” (“Beckham is small”), while being filmed by the show’s cameraman.
Beckham climbed into a black car but she ran around to the driver’s seat in which he was sitting, shouting: “You’ve taken us for a ride! How could you? David!”
The Hyenas is broadcast on Italia1, a channel owned by Mediaset, Silvio Berlusconi’s media empire. The Italian prime minister also owns AC Milan.
Beckham was being interviewed by a second blonde television presenter when the stunt took place.

Bangor man, 35, guilty in attempted murder of his ex-girlfriend
http://www.bangordailynews.com/detail/135146.html
BANGOR, Maine — A jury Tuesday found a local man guilty of trying to kill his ex-girlfriend when he stabbed her twice in the abdomen nearly two years ago outside a Hudson Street apartment.
The jury of eight men and four women deliberated at the Penobscot Judicial Center for about 2½ hours before finding David Archer, 35, guilty of attempted murder, elevated aggravated assault and aggravated assault. The verdict came after four days of testimony from a dozen or so witnesses, including the now 24-year-old victim and the defendant.
Archer, who took the stand in his own defense Tuesday morning, told the jury that he did not remember stabbing his ex-girlfriend twice on the evening of April 26, 2008.
The defendant testified that the drugs he took included prescription medication for Crohn’s disease, marijuana, cocaine, his regular dosages of methadone and an array of uppers and downers for which he did not have prescriptions.

Wife Acquitted In Stabbing Death Of Husband

A 47-year-old Dacula woman accused of stabbing her husband to death has been acquitted.
A Gwinnett County jury deliberated for about three hours Monday before acquitting Laurie Alexander of murder and related charges in the Dec. 8, 2007 stabbing death of Kent Alexander.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that Laurie Alexander claimed that after she confronted her husband about an affair, she took two prescription anti-anxiety pills and went to bed. She told police she didn't remember anything until the next morning, when she found her husband dead on the kitchen floor.
Alexander testified that a few hazy details came to her later in dreams. She said her husband may have become aggressive toward her after they argued.Bangor man, 35, guilty in attempted murder of his ex-girlfriend... more

A judge dismissed all charges Wednesday night and ordered the release of the four men -- Jesus Ortiz, 19; Stalin Felipe, 19; Kevin Taveras, 20; and Rondell Bedward, 21; all of the New York metropolitan area, according to Nassau County, New York, District Attorney Kathleen Rice.
They had been arrested, arraigned and jailed, with bail set at $500,000 each. Each was facing five counts of first-degree rape.
One of the five men falsely accused of gang-raping a Hofstra University student said Thursday he and his friends feared they would be attacked in jail.
"In life and in jail, rapers and molesters are seen as the scum of the earth, the lowest of the low," said 20-year-old Kevin Taveras. "We were scared."
Dressed in sweats and weary after his ordeal, Taveras said he doesn't even know the name of his accuser and hopes cops "file an investigation of that girl."
"I hope that other people see the truth that she lied, that we never lied," he said. "We could have all done long bids [in prison]. It could have cost us 25 years."
Taveras' dad said what the 18-year-old Hofstra freshman did with her bogus charge will haunt his son forever.
"This is not over," Ramiro Taveras, 44, said outside his Brentwood, L.I., home. "What's going to happen when somebody Googles his name?"
Taveras spoke out a day after the woman recanted her story that five men raped her in a Hofstra dormitory bathroom early Sunday morning.
Nassau County District Attorney Kathleen Rice said she changed her story after being shown cell-phone video footage of the sexual encounter.
"Her actions and her demeanor depict a very troubled young woman in need of some help," said Rice, declining to identify her.
At a news conference Thursday, Nassau District Attorney Kathleen Rice said the woman has not been charged with a crime.... She declined to name the woman... September 8th, 2009 He Got Me Drunk
by Marc H. Rudov
Is Your Son Safe at College?
He got me drunk. How many times have you heard this laughable nonsense from childish women?
Cops and judges hear it all the time but, to avoid being labeled misogynists, quickly punish the “guilty” men. The definition of female adult — one responsible for her own behavior, including alcoholic consumption — somehow doesn’t apply in matters of sex and romance with men.
Let’s get real: a man cannot get a woman drunk! That’s her deal — achieved by opening her mouth, repeatedly filling it with booze, and eventually passing out. Intoxication is a choice.
Unfortunately, a girl blaming a guy for her choice to have sex while self-impaired is an all-too-common and acceptable practice, especially on the college campus. At Duke University, home of the infamous Lacrosse Player Rape Scandal, a girl can file a sexual-misconduct complaint up to two years after any “incident.”
So, if your son is beginning or continuing his tenure at a university this Labor Day week, the likelihood he’ll be falsely accused of rape is greater than when I wrote “Is Your Son Safe at College?” in 2007. You must be aware and make him aware.September 8th, 2009 He Got Me Drunk

DOVER-FOXCROFT, Maine — Two of three friends who jumped naked into Moosehead Lake last summer for a free Skinny Dip sandwich at the Black Frog Restaurant in Greenville were found guilty of indecent exposure Monday in 13th District Court.
The court found that Bernard Beckwith, 31, of Poland and Christian Simpson, 37, of Bethel knowingly exposed their genitals in a public place under circumstances that likely caused affront or alarm to others. Each man was fined $200 plus a $50 court fee by Judge Kevin Stitham, who presided over the combined trial.
Crystal Stilwell, 25, of Bath, who had accompanied the men in the naked jump for the free sandwich, was found not guilty. All three represented themselves during the trial.
Stilwell was naked and her breasts were exposed, but to prove indecent exposure the state had to show that she knowingly exposed her genitals. It could not do that.
Although he was not in the courtroom for the trial, Piscataquis County District Attorney R. Christopher Almy said later that the Legislature should look at this issue to see if they want to continue to have disparate rulings, one for men and one for women.DOVER-FOXCROFT, Maine — Two of three friends who jumped naked into Moosehead... more

Editorial: If the Bush Administration Had Done It
By: adminOn: 08/20/2009 09:22:38In: CorruptionComments: 0
“If the Bush Administration had done it, there would be national outrage.”
This phrase seems to be thrown about a lot recently with regard to the new administration and its ever-deepening slough of gross misconduct. Whether it’s Obama asking people to snitch on their neighbors to “flag@whitehouse.gov”, mocking the Special Olympics on prime time television, or issuing an ill-founded DHS memo targeting “disgruntled veterans” as possible terrorists, the president and his lieutenants have gotten away with record scandal in record time.
In fact, Barack Obama has received a pass from the Mainstream Media “Obamatons” the likes of which George W. Bush and his predecessors never would even have dreamed possible.
Well, one can now modify the aforementioned statement and likewise conjecture: “If Karl Rove had done it…”
In brief, David Axelrod, Barack Obama’s Senior Advisor, is up to his neck in corruption, which, not surprisingly, has been largely ignored by liberal news outlets—i.e., the Obamatons en masse. As Kenneth P. Vogel of Politico reports, AKPD Message and Media, a firm founded by Mr. Axelrod that currently employs his son, was awarded a significant $24 million advertising contract by Obama Administration allies in the Healthcare Reform debate. Conveniently enough, AKPD also owes Mr. Axelrod $2 million in severance dollars.
AKPD and another firm were contracted by a coalition of liberal groups and other entities—among them PhRMA—to produce and air two separate $12 million ad campaigns designed to bolster support for Barack Obama’s government-run healthcare plan. Mr. Axelrod’s close ties to both AKPD and the groups pushing Obama-care is raising a lot of eyebrows.
One of those miffed is House Republican Conference spokesman Matt Loyd, who had the following to say regarding the situation:
“Let me get this straight: Out of all the firms Pharma could choose to do their media work, they choose David Axelrod’s firm, which still maintains Axelrod’s son on the payroll and owes Axelrod himself $2 million. How can the public be assured that David Axelrod isn't influenced by any of this in the course of the health care debate? For an administration that promised 'change' and to be above even an appearance of impropriety this does not even come close to passing the smell test.”
If Karl Rove had done something like this, at least one head would have rolled—his—and possibly more. And, as Mr. Vogel reports:
“On his first day in office, Obama unveiled a strict ethics policy barring officials from working on issues ‘directly and substantially related’ to their former clients or employers for two years.”
Apparently, that strict injunction did not apply to the man who put Obama in office and carries his water on a daily basis.
Corruption, ethics—and boldfaced lies—notwithstanding, the hypocrisy regarding the Obama regime’s view of America’s healthcare system and the “moral imperative” they so proudly proclaim is this Administration’s most egregious sin.
On one hand, Mr. Obama and other Democrats in Washington argue passionately that America’s health care industry is no place for the greedy pursuit of profits. Morality dictates that people come before profits, they continually intone. Meanwhile, David Axelrod has no qualms about pocketing a few million bucks through his “directly and substantially related” ties to his own advertising firm.
Karl Rove may have been the architect, but David Axelrod is clearly the engineer—engineering corruption and hypocrisy in the nation’s highest office while smarmily proclaiming his personal piety.

Not only are older white men seeing jobs disappear, as USA TODAY reported in a recent cover story, but as the crisis of boys' education escalates, so too will young men begin to have even more trouble finding starter jobs. Were the genders reversed, there would be great howls and government programs aplenty ("In this recession, older white males see jobs fade," News, Thursday).
Tragically, however, President Obama and his political base have merely aggravated the situation, cheering on female advancement in education and the workplace while dismissing male troubles. A prime example: Although 82% of the jobs lost in this recession were lost by men, more than 40% of the jobs that Obama and the Democratic Congress created with the stimulus bill pushed through in February are projected to go to women, largely in female-dominated occupations. What happened to fairness and equality?

David says there's a double standard when it comes to charging men. "Now, isn't that strange? When she had a fat lip, it was a felony and I was going to jail. But when they finally realized that she tried to stab me in the neck, it stopped being a crime, and instead it was a mental health issue."
In Hines's study of male victims of domestic violence, 64 percent of the men who called a DV hotline were told that they "only helped women," and over half were referred to programs for male perpetrators. Overall, only 8 percent of the men who called hotlines classified them as "very helpful," whereas 69 percent found them to be "not at all helpful." Worse, when an abused man called the police, the police were more likely to arrest him than to arrest his abusive female partner.David says there's a double standard when it comes to charging men. Police are investigating a brick with an offensive message thrown into the window of an East Austin home. The brick, thrown through a 4-year-old boy’s bedroom window, read “Keep Eastside Black. Keep Eastside Strong.”
The homeowner, Barbara Frische, who is white, said she has lived in the home for 10 years. “It’s the first time anything like this has ever happened to me,” she said.
Police have not classified this incident as a hate crime, said Austin Police Sgt. Richard Stresing, because hate crimes target an individual specifically because of an identifying characteristic, like race. Police say the incident has been classified as criminal mischief and deadly conduct.

I am rather confused how this crime does not meet the criteria stated by the police for a "hate crime." I truly hope Obama will get involved and try to right this wrong also! From the article:
