Could former Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher write a song for the FA Cup final for Manchester City supporters?
According to a Sunday newspaper, Noel is hinting that he's writing a charity song for support for Manchester City saying "If they asked seriously I don’t know. Let’s wait till they ask". It's reported that Ricky Hatton and Johnny Marr and other famous Manchester City supporters might be in line to be in the song. Meanwhile, Stoke City supporters are apparently in talks with Welsh singer Tom Jone to revamp the 1968 hit 'Delilah', popular with supporters. The FA Cup Final takes place on May 15th at Wembley Stadium.

If you watched the FA cup semi Finals this weekend, you would have seen players struggling to manoeuvre around the pitch without slipping over.
Like stated in the article, some Tottenham fans might be upset by the pitch because it looks like one falling defender caused Portsmouth to gain it first goal from the game (they lost 0-2).
The groundsman (former groundsman for the Millennium Stadium) blames staff in charge of scheduling for the pitches quality.
"It's never going to be perfect because there will be times when the timescales between different events are so tight that you have to hold your hands up and say 'That is going to have to do for the next game'[...] It cannot ever be viewed like one of the Premier League grounds, unless Wembley look at reducing the amount of different events that are on there.
"-Dave Saltman
The next events for the pitch are FA cup Final, 'Coca-Cola Championship play-off final and Saracens' rugby union match against Harlequins to come at the stadium before England's friendly against Mexico on May 24'.If you watched the FA cup semi Finals this weekend, you would have seen players... more

As Liverpool were pulled out of the draw I thought to myself "Everton would be an interesting game here", and wouldn't you know it, out they came.
Other draws included Arsenal v Cardiff and another home draw for the non-league Kettering who will host Fulham.
If anyone is interested in a long shot, Blyth Spartans are still in the competition and are 20,000-1 odds on to win. Probably worth a pound I'd say?As Liverpool were pulled out of the draw I thought to myself "Everton would be an... more

Cardiff fell short of going the full distance this afternoon after a first half goal by Kanu led Porstmouth to victory in their first FA cup final in 69 years.
"It's fantastic for everybody - my family, the players, it's great," said the Portsmouth manager Harry Redknapp. "It has been a difficult year off the field so to win the FA Cup is a dream come true. Cardiff were putting us under pressure, putting balls in the box, they played well and worked hard.
When we get in front we're difficult to break down and the defence were terrific."Cardiff fell short of going the full distance this afternoon after a first half goal... more
