I haven’t seen the Toadies in years and after an amazing set by Riverboat Gamblers- I soon realized that Todd Lewis is still one of my favorite vocalists to see live. There is no scream like his- and he sounded as good as he did years ago at Lazona with Baboon. After a belligerent crowd finished the last verses of “Tyler” I headed over to Emo’s lounge to see the last bit of Crash Gallery and Girl in a Coma.I haven’t seen the Toadies in years and after an amazing set by Riverboat... more

Via Audio played to a small crowd at the Mohawk Friday June 13, in the middle of the Texas Biker Rally and Gay Pride Parade. Matt and Kim's shows inspire people with their energetic and 'I'm so fuckin' happy OMG' presence on stage. The thing about Matt and Kim is they interact with the crowd like they've known them forever, when you see their shows its like you showed up at your friend's house party they happened to be playing. Here they perform "Grand" at Walter's on Washington in Houston, TX on the Fyeah Tour.

As the opening keys of 'Silver Tiles' started, the crowd clapping drowning out Kim's drums, the room developed into this bouncing mass of color, not a still soul in the building. The chorus 'and all our hopes, and all our friends' has always brought something out of people besides just the need to sing a long at a loud volume. Matt finished the last verse crowdsurfing on the palms of their fans and friends. He returned to stage, they ended the song, and the night was over. Best show ever.As the opening keys of 'Silver Tiles' started, the crowd clapping drowning... more
