A bungling burglar broke into a bakery, found himself trapped in a locked store room and then struggled to get back out.
As this CCTV footage shows, the youngster had entered the Melbourne building via a skylight but soon discovered he wasn't where he wanted.
After a moment of panic he tried to climb back out by stacking a pile of containers, but they toppled and he fell.
He then tried using some shelves to get out… but again ended up on the floor when they too collapsed.
While he did eventually manage to get out, it wasn't before looking directly into a security camera. After the image was released by police a 19-year-old handed himself in.

Apparently, it's Mafia versus cops in the odd news world.
First up, reports out of Rome point to Italy's anti-Mafia police seizing a crocodile that has been used to intimidate in exchange for protection. I know what you're thinking, but no, this isn't a plot line ripped from the next Guy Ritchie movie.
When it comes down to it, aren't we all led by movies and pop-culture to believe that bad guys take on strange and vicious pets for the sake of freaking people out and killing their opposition in gruesomely obscure ways? A large (dare I say potentially man-eating) crocodile falls right in line with cliched villainy.
On the other hand, taking a break from a search warranted drug raid to play a few rounds of Nintendo Wii Sports bowling is totally out of character for undercover drug investigators, but that's exactly what happened as evidenced by security camera footage during the search of a Polk County home in Florida.
Sorry cops, the Mafia wins this round.Apparently, it's Mafia versus cops in the odd news world.

A new security camera soon to be assembled in Dayton could change the way our airports, police departments, and even our military keep us safe.
During a news conference Monday, November, 30, Mayor Rhine McLin and other city leaders cheered for Tech Town and a brand new high tech security camera that can "see" several miles away.
Dayton company STAN Solutions' partner, Israel based Adaptive Imaging Technologies, recently won a "Most Promising Security Start-Up" award for their high resolution, panoramic camera.
It is still in production mode, but officials said its like 50 cameras in one, and can monitor and observe areas up to six miles away.
STAN Solutions is partnering with the University of Dayton's Institute for Development and Commercialization of Advanced Sensor Technology (IDCAST) to expand the camera's capabilities with additional night time sensors.
IDCAST Director Larrell Walters said this camera its ideal for border patrol, police departments, college campuses, and security at airports.
"If police were trying to catch a bad guy, you could follow him for miles and track him down," Walters said.
Each camera costs less than $100,000.A new security camera soon to be assembled in Dayton could change the way our... more

(NECN/ABC) - Local businesses are often the victims of crime and one Web site just arrived on scene, aiming to help stores find the criminals.
PostACrime.com hopes to use security camera images to help fight crime. The site has posted over 100,000 crimes nationwide and it is only six months old.
David Stone created the site.
Anyone can sign up for the free service. Members of the site also get e-mails notifying them when crimes occur. Anyone can post or review a crime, and that, has police worried.
Police say posting potential criminal images online too early could harm their investigation. But, Stone says the site's administrators can remove any information police want so they can do their job.
KESQ Reporter Rodney Wardle has more from Palm Springs, California.
