On February 12, 2009, the Geffen at the MOCA opened its doors to Capcom and thousands of Street Fighter fans for the release of the highly anticipated, Street Fighter IV. We drove down to LA from the Bay Area to ensure we'd get in. Just like the whole Street Fighter community, we've waited 10+ years for this game, so why not party, right? We've got interviews with Arcade Infinity and Video 94's Keno Caesar and Victor "Dogface" Ratliff. Keno is an up and coming player who has been making a name for himself at AI & Video 94. Victor is widely known for his skills in X-Men vs. Street Fighter, as well as his commentary in Marvel vs. Capcom 2. He is also the host of "The Dogface Show." CO-OP is a weekly ~20 minute show created by the former minds and talent behind the successful 1UP Show. They review games in a unique and laid back style unlike most of the stuffy boring reviews show. Always insightful and always entertaining. I love these guys because you can tell they are passionate about games and it doesnt feel awkward or forced like most other review shows.
This week Area5 brings in former EGM editor in chief Dan Hsu and GameSpy’s Miguel Lopez swing by to talk about the GTA IV expansion and Street Fighter IV.
Also this is the first episode filmed in HD! To download the high-quality version, visit us on Vimeo: http://www.vimeo.com/3403333CO-OP is a weekly ~20 minute show created by the former minds and talent behind the... more

"Despite a heavy addiction to the game back in the Street Fighter II days, the growing complexity of the franchise, the increased focus on combos over tactics had lost me. And I wasn't the only one. Ono told me that this was a game meant to win me and people like me back.
Did it?"
Crescente breaks down the good and the bad. I don't know. I'm a little tempted to take the plunge because the thought of a near-arcade experience at home is intriguing. But...then there's the cost.
Anyone else picking this one up?"Despite a heavy addiction to the game back in the Street Fighter II days, the... more
