A proposal to build a residential building opposite the London club threatens the venues entertainments license, which when removed, would result in a closure of the club.
To save the venue, a petition was launched , "in an attempt to keep it open. The petition has been backed by music industry umbrella group UK Music's chief , formerly of The Undertones."
When it comes to saving buildings, maybe the Ministry of sound should take note of the latest news of the Abbey Road sale, where the UK government declared the studio as a grade II listed building,

This spring sees Ministry of Sound and Dave Pearce release one of the most comprehensive dance compilation series ever.
The ‘Dance Years’ is a collection of the biggest and most important dance tracks spanning 1988 – 2008. The 20 albums will be sold in five chronological batches.
The first five releases, ‘The Dance Years…1988/1989/1990/1991/1992’ will be released individually on 23 March 2009. It'll be mixed by Dave Pearce.

Hosted by the Toolroom Knights, Saturday 6th December promises to showcase some of the 'UK's most exciting talent performing exclusively with Ableton Live software and Novation controllers.'

A television advert that featured a woman dressed as a stripteasing school girl was in breach of the advertising rules, the official watchdog has ruled.
