DeMille Award for his outstanding contribution to the entertainment field. Chosen by the HFPA Board of Directors, the Cecil B. Warren Beatty's new biographer, Peter Biskind, estimates that the famously seductive star of Bonnie and Clyde and Reds has notched up 12,775 sexual conquests, including Isabelle Adjani, Diane Keaton and Madonna. If true, that is impressive. Don Giovanni could only claim a lacklustre 2,065, according to Mozart's librettist, Lorenzo Da Ponte.
Apparently Biskind came up with this number using "simple arithmetic".

Actor Warren Beatty has sued a unit of Tribune Co over the film and television rights to comic strip detective Dick Tracy, a character he played in a 1990 hit film of the same name.
The suit, made public on Friday, was filed in Los Angeles federal court and seeks to prevent Tribune from taking the movie and TV rights away from Beatty, who has held them since 1985.
