Electronic Arts plans on aggressively taking over the first-person shooter market, and is "not going to be happy" until it has taken leadership back from Activision, describing a complete takeover as "an important strategic priority" of the company for the immediate future.
When asked about the company's expecations for the upcoming Medal of Honor revival, CEO John Riccitello was bullish, saying that "we're not going to be happy until we've taken the leadership back in the first-person shooter category."
"The tip of the spear is the combination of Battlefield: Bad Company and Medal of Honor," said Riccitello. "So we fully expect [Medal of Honor] to be a succesful title this year. We're using a lot of the same technology between the two, the multiplayer game that is part of Medal of Honor this year is in fact built by our DICE Studio, which builds the Battlefield: Bad Company and Battlefield franchises for us. And we think it's a particularly strong title."
"So, we've made great strides with Battlefield: Bad Company, and we expect to make further strides with Medal of Honor, and we have strong plans for years to come. I just wanted to show the unboxing of the FPS Freek controller add on that increases accuracy in first-person shooter games
This is how all video game accessories should be packaged (I know, there is the point that it makes it easier to steal blah blah.. but if people are going to steal, they will do it no matter what the package is)

Those amazing developers over at Capcom have announced that for the Resident Evil series to continue, that they are going to have to "reinvent the series".
Currently on Resident Evil 5, a producer for the game said that this verison of the game is likely "to mark the last of its kind in the franchise."
One of the original Resident Evil producers, Shinji Mikami, was quoted not too long ago saying that the next installment would need to inject new ideas and experiences to 'freshen things up.'
Speaking to Official PlayStation Magazine: "I think Resident Evil 5 doesn't need to change the series, but Resident Evil 6 will have to reinvent the series with another full model change or else it won't be able to keep on going."Those amazing developers over at Capcom have announced that for the Resident Evil... more

The Conduit is a first person shooter set in Washington DC, with "PS3 like" graphics, it looks like its going to be one hell of a game. Its got aliens, it's got government conspiracies, its even got vertex shaders and bump mapping. It's got it all.
Sega is on a streak as far as awesome wii games are concerned. House of the Dead Overkill this month, Madworld next month, and The Conduit in June.
