With many of the best of this year’s free agents gone to other NBA teams, the Knicks and the Nets can start working tonight on next year’s biggest prize, Carmelo Anthony, at his wedding at Cipriani 42nd Street.
The Denver Nugget star is marrying Brooklyn-born LaLa Vasquez, of MTV fame, the mother of their 3-year-old son, Kiyan.

After appearing at Rhodes Arena for his annual skills academy, LeBron James played pick-up basketball with several Cleveland Cavaliers and then left at 3:20 p.m. in a White Range Rover. James, who has been a free agent for seven days, is expected to fly to Greenwich, Conn., for a sit-down interview with ESPN Thursday night, according to a source close to James.

I guess B-Dizzle doesn't believe anymore. Sorry, Warriors fans but you had to know this was coming when he opted out of his deal. The chance to go home and play in LA with Elton Brand & the rest of the up & coming Clips was just too strong to pass up.
"Baron Davis' agent, Todd Ramasar, told The Times that they have a verbal agreement to sign with the Clippers."
Davis, a former All-Star point guard, is expected to sign a contract in the five-year, $65-million range.
