Obama may be considered a "rock star" by his supporters, but the kind of superficial glamour and excitement that this terminology suggests is not what most voters are looking for in a president. Heartland values, not Hollywood values, still define what most voters want in a president. Most voters want a president whom they perceive as loyal, courageous, hardworking, and fair. Someone who commands the respect of others through the strength of his character and the wisdom of his actions. Someone who is prepared to fight to protect his home and country from invaders. In other words, someone who appeals to voters, on a psychological or emotional level, as the kind of person they would want for a father, husband, boss, or comrade-in-arms. ,

Racist Obama
June 21st, 2008
Let history show that Obama is a racist.
During a fundraising event, Obama insinuated that Republicans would play the race card. Obama committed a great feat of rhetorical slight-of-hand. He played the race card play accusing in advance of evidence that his opponents would play the race card.

Barack Obama tried to tell us that he wasn’t in church when Rev. Jeremiah Wright, his chosen spiritual leader of 20 years, commanded “God Damn American” or preached any of his other racist, anti-American venom. Wright, we were told, was just the crazy uncle no one can control.
That line didn’t fly because Obama brought his kids to that church. You don’t willingly subject your children to cursing, filthy, unpatriotic preachers unless you agree with the preacher. After all, why spend Sunday brunch untangling and explaining away all the “Daddy, what does riding dirty on Monica mean?” questions.
It seems that Obama has another guy on the payroll who might as well be Rev. Wright’s clone.

Anyway, Kucinich is truly a myopic idiot. He must have one bad case of Bush Derangement Syndrome. Even his own party wants to quickly bury his latest public proof of his insanity.
Worse yet, I think it is a travesty above the usual travesties that Congress commits, that he wasted the nation's and Congress' time with this whole idioic thing. > Why? Because an open debate on Kucinich's bill would
> paint the Democrats as a bunch of myopic revenge bent
> rabid Bush haters right before the election. This
> would not sell well with the public at large who
> would take this as nothing less than the cheap shot
> it is. The Democrats are smart enough to see that
> and want to bury the whole thing as quickly and
> quietly as possible.
> By the same reasoning, the Republicans want to bring
> on the debate and let the Democrats swing in the

Larry Sinclair Claims Connection to Murdered Gay Choirmaster at Obama’s Controversial Church

Larry Sinclair, the Minnesota man who claims to have used drugs and had sex with Sen. Barack Obama in 1999 - and who has passed a computerized PolyScore test regarding his drug allegations - has come forward with a shocking revelation:
I was not living in Minnesota when I first contacted the Obama campaign about Obama’s meetings with me in 1999 for the purpose of taking cocaine and sex.
Between September 2007 and November 2007, I left a total of four (4) different cell phone numbers with the office of the Obama campaign. This was necessary because I had to adjust the telephone number to correspond with each new location where I lived in that period. I have explained in my blog how I slowly made my way north to Minnesota before settling there.
I have never said that I met Donald Young in any face to face meeting. But I did have contact with him several times. Each time Mr. Young instigated the contact. Nobody else, other than the Obama campaign, had a record of my constantly adjusted numbers. And I did not go public with my allegations until after Mr. Young was murdered.
So just how did Mr. Young know who I was? How did he know my cell phone number? (Please note that I have never said the exact number of times Mr. Young and I had contact. Nor have I stated the content of our exchanges. That and other information about the matter is reserved for the appropriate channels. I am providing this factual information to counteract the deliberate misinformation that a small army of Internet warriors are spreading on the net in an attempt to distract attention from Obama’s past).
Indeed, Donald Young was a choirmaster at Obama’s controversial church during a portion of the infamous Rev. Jeremiah Wright’s tenure. Young was a gay black man, and he was slain in cold blood just before Christmas 2007. His murder is yet unsolved.
That Sinclair may have communicated with Young before his murder raises some interesting questions, top among them: What was Young trying to tell Sinclair? Stay tuned

When the almost six billion of us outside the US watch the contest for The Most Powerful Man in the World, we tend to focus on the candidates' foreign policies. If I was Iranian, say, I'd be anxious that John McCain keeps joking in public about killing me.
But there's a way in which the next US president will affect you even more directly than foreign policy. By his economic decisions, the next president will help swing the price of the food you eat and the wages you earn – wherever you live on earth.
When he is forced to talk about the economy, McCain has always given the same answer: "I rely on the circle I have developed over many years – people like Phil Gramm."
Phil Gramm is an ornery old ex-Texas senator who seems to have swooped out of the most scathing H L Mencken sketch. He became McCain's "best friend in politics" – and started speaking to him every day – when they linked arms to stop Hillary Clinton's 1993 push to extend healthcare to poor Americans.
He calls for "ruthlessly" slashing government spending – but only focuses on spending on the poor. When he was told paying for healthcare plunged many 80-year-olds into poverty, he said: "Most of us don't have the luxury of living to be 80 years old, so it's hard for me to feel sorry for them."
But most relevant to those of us outside the US is that Gramm – more than any other figure in American politics – made the two great financial scandals of our time possible, and nearly brought the global economy down with him.
The billionaire Warren Buffet pointed out that Phil Gramm has twice tossed "financial weapons of mass destruction" into the US economy. Yet instead of shunning him, McCain made Gramm the co-chair of his presidential campaign, and hinted he might make him Treasury Secretary. McCain – the supposed scourge of buying influence – was even happy for Gramm to be simultaneously a paid lobbyist for the mortgage industry and helping to write his speeches about the mortgage crisis. The Gramm-grip on McCain's policies shows: incredibly, the wannabe-president responded to the credit crunch caused by deregulation by calling for even more deregulation.
So it seems for this putative president, causing two major economic crises is fine – but speaking about them crudely is a step too far. Yessir: if you liked the credit crunch, you'll love McCainomics.
