Sometimes it just takes a good ol’ song-and-dance routine to make sense of everything, like
Prop. 8—The Musical, which stars a lot of famous people strutting around onstage.
Jack Black, Neil Patrick Harris, John C. Reilly, Allison Janney, Maya Rudolph and Margaret Cho are just some of the boldfaced folks who make an appearance, but we don’t want to name all of them—that takes away some of the spot-the-stars fun for you.
Created by two of the people behind Hairspray, composer Marc Shaiman and director Adam Shankman, the Funny or Die video highlights, through the power of music, a couple of reasons why the proposition that banned gay marriage is wack. Give it a play and then rave (or rant) in the comments section below!Sometimes it just takes a good ol’ song-and-dance routine to make sense of... more

If you've ever written, sprayed, bombed, or the likes, you know that Graffiti is one of the most universal art forms practiced to date. Public displays of 'Expressiti' dot the faces of our city-scapes, and inspire both the unsuspecting and the searching.
Come out to appreciate & support independent street art & the talented artists behind it! APW Gallery in NYC is hosting its first ever Graffiti Exposition, featuring work from writers all over the globe, including an impressionistic piece by grafitero Dasic, straight from Santiago de Chile.
Interested? Roll with us this Friday, November 28th, from 6-8 PM at APW Gallery, located on 190 Chrystie Street, New York, NY (btw. Rivington & Stanton).
To view some of Dasic's work, visit:

Designing is the easy part. "Creating" a magazine is even easier, though implementing effective perusal is somewhat time-consuming.
Yet getting your product across, into, and throughout the www---necessitates Santa, himself, the end results at the touch of his nose and his sleigh.
Here's what I propose... kicking out there to you all---bungee cord intact.
At my "DC Magazine" website---I created a social network, "Get 15Min.! Make Capitol Hill News!" As a marketing draw, the concept is a more realistic spin on YouTube Video--enabling net-traffic to create 15 minute videos, be it on Comedy, Mystery, Who's Drama from anywhere or how, Life, pure and/or insidious Commentary, etc., etc.
Further---my "Get 15Min. PlayList" works as scheduling time on in any TV Guide, i.e., using the first come, first served basis---each participant can choose a time-slot and day they want to run their 15 min. video.
You get the idea.
No doubt many of you have the acting bug and many others of you---I know are just dying to present your latent tendency "to act out and no one care".
So having said that and given the matter of also driving business---in that opposite each page of content/article, I'm selling ad space (5.5 X 6.5.in-Full page)---I've arrived at an using another concept to increase natural and linked traffic.
No doubt many of you are business women/men and no doubt many of you have business sites, be they only online or to support your brick and mortar store/services.
Thus I'm offering the first 10 businesses owners "who apply" the opportunity to secure free "Full Page Advertising" (general rate-$150Mo.) for the next three months---if you can bring 10 participants to "Get 15Min.!"
Ergo---"your ROI" is longer than DeMille's Hollywood close-up.
Thus if you've been affected by the market crash---most assuredly "free advertising", let alone "print-style advertising" is definitely a blessed plus.
To sign up with me---simply e-mail me your Contact Info at dcmagazinenow@gmail.com, and yet take note, I have a deadline terms: All of your participants you bring, must have their videos submitted by October 31st, in order for you to gain the free ad space.
So let us partner in this endeavor---resulting in a win-win business venture. I look forward to hearing from at least "ten of you real soon".
Thanks loads---DC Magazine Online

On paper you'd be tempted to say Obama. But if you ask me, there's something a bit focus group about his genre-spanning, box-ticking choices.
