Failed Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin says that she has created more jobs for impersonators than President Barack Obama has created in total during his entire presidency.
Fox News host Chris Wallace on Sunday asked Palin how she rated Julianne Moore’s impersonation of her in HBO’s upcoming film “Game Change.”
“I think we’re going to call that The Sarah Palin Employment Act,” Palin declared. “And you guys need to thank me for employing more people probably in their imitations of Sarah Palin than the president has put Americans to work.”
“So it’s a stimulus act?” Wallace asked.
“It is a stimulus act!” the half-term Alaska governor agreed. “Goodness gracious. I’m really not too concerned, though, about an HBO movie based on a false narrative when there are so many other things that we need to be concerned about.”
“The movie echoes the book in pursuing this narrative that you went into a funk during the campaign leading up especially to the debate,” Wallace noted.
“I’m sorry that millions of people are going to waste their time,” Palin quipped. “I was never in a funk. Thank God I have the right perspective on what really matters in life, Chris. And there’s no need to ever be in a funk when we know what right priorities are and what really matters in this life.”
“I am ambivalent about it. And I, honestly, will not waste my time watching it, and I encourage others to find something else more productive to do.”
Former Republican vice presidential candidate John McCain, who is played by Ed Harris, said earlier this month that he would also refuse to watch the movie.

Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum on Monday asserted that former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney was “uniquely unqualified” for the GOP nomination because of the similarities between health care laws in Massachusetts and President Barack Obama’s health care reforms, including the repeatedly debunked claim that “death panels” would ration care to seniors.
Speaking at a ballroom across the street from the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, Santorum pointed to a report (PDF) from the the non-partisan organization Families USA that found at least 15 major similarities between Obama’s Affordable Care Act and the reforms Romney enacted in Massachusetts.
“Both create government panels to dictate quality and cost containment,” Santorum explained. “Some of you may be familiar with the Independent Payment Advisory Board — which is a board separate from Congress, independent of Congress — that President Obama created to control health care costs. How? By cutting reimbursements to doctors and hospitals under the Medicare program. Well, Gov. Romney has a similar program called the Council on Health Quality and Costs.”
“Some people refer to these types of boards as death panels,” he added. “Why? Because they ultimately decide to ration care to those procedures and people because they don’t believe these procedures are effective in providing care, that the utilization isn’t worth the costs.”
“So, again, you have government making decisions and rationing and apportioning care based on research that shows what outcomes are dictated by the research that’s out there.”
In 2009, Politifact named “death panels,” a term thought to have been first used by former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R), as their “Lie of the Year.”

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin says that Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney won the Florida by paying for ads with a “false narrative.”
“I think that with $17 million purchasing some ads and some false narrative it was very, very difficult for Newt Gingrich and the other candidates to counter that bombardment of advertisements,” the former Republican vice presidential candidate told Fox News host Megyn Kelly.
“$17 million spent in one state, that purchased a lot of darts and arrows that were flown in one direction and then a lot of darts and arrows were flown back and you know a lot of that negativity sure didn’t paint the party and the cause in very attractive colors,” she added. “I think that hurts the electorate and ultimately diminishes the energy necessary to move forward in the general election.”
Palin has previously said that she would have voted for former House Speaker Newt Gingrich in both South Carolina and Florida — and Tuesday night’s results didn’t change her mind going forward.
“As it stands obviously it’s Romney and Newt are closest to be the front-running candidate, and so I would continue to vote for whoever it is to allow the process, and at this point it looks like it still is Newt,” she explained. “You have to kind of continue to level the playing field with your vote.”

Failed Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin all but endorsed Newt Gingrich on Saturday, saying Florida voters should “rage against the machine, vote for Newt.”
Fox News host Jeanine Pirro asked the former Alaska governor how Gingrich could claim that he was not a Washington insider after being in Congress for 20 years, including serving as the Speaker of the House.
“Look at the players in the establishment who are fighting so hard against him,” Palin explained. “They want to crucify him because he’s tapped into that average, everyday tea party grassroots movement that has said enough is enough of the establishment that tries to run the show and tweak rules and laws and regulations for for their own good, and not for our nation’s own good. Well, when both party machines — and many in the media — are trying to crucify Newt Gingrich for bucking the tide, and bucking the establishment, that tells you something.
She added: “And I say, you know, you got to rage against the machine at this point in order to defend our republic and save what is good and secure and prosperous about our nation. … So, if for no other reason, rage against the machine, vote for Newt. Annoy a liberal, vote Newt.”
Even though polls show otherwise, Palin insisted that Gingrich was also the candidate that had the best chance at beating President Barack Obama in the general election.
“I think that comes down to who can articulate their ideas, their solutions best,” she said. “And in a campaign, the way that you articulate that is in a debate. And I’ve appreciated, again, Newt Gingrich’s, his style in debates, his thinking, his way of explaining what it is that he stands for. So I think that in a debate, Newt Gingrich would clobber Barack Obama.”
Using violent rhetoric to describe how Gingrich would fair against Obama is nothing new for Fox News employees like Sarah Palin. Last week, Fox News host Steve Doocy claimed that Gingrich would “take off the head of the president” during a debate.

PCW South Carolina Slaughter Report
Colonial Life Arena
Columbia, South Carolina
Saturday January 21st, 2012
K-Roy (R), seconded by Newt Gingrich (R-GA) pinned ‘American Citizen’ Kevin Scott (R) at 16:22 to win at South Carolina Slaughter tonight in Columbia, South Carolina.
After Chuck Norris hit the ring and connected with a spinning heel kick on Scott, K-Roy hit a K-Bomb on the ‘American Citizen’ to set up the final pin. Also making a difference in the match, ‘The Alaskan Pitbull’ Sarah Palin (R-AK) who made the save on a pin attempt by Scott. ‘The Massachusetts Redblood’ Mitt Romney (R-MA) got into a heated argument with Palin afterwards and K-Roy seized on the momentum change to swing the match in his direction.
Post match, Romney vowed that he was in the Republican contest to challenge PCW CEO Barack Obama (D-IL) in the fall for the long run. He also gave Scott a vote of confidence after a tough week that’s witnessed the ascension of K-Roy as a major player in the PCW singles division.
The main event featured PCW Champion, Independent Daniel-San, accompanied to the ring by Mrs. Miyagi, versus PCW Women’s Champion and PCW’s Queen of Extreme Valora Salinas for the PCW Title.
The match started off with an impressive series of technical wrestling of all things and Daniel-San controlled the early going. But soon enough, Valora showed just why she is considered PCW’s Queen of Extreme by incorporating a steel folding chair and other sundry weaponry into the match.
After a two minute sequence that saw near-falls by both wrestlers and had the crowd on their feet, John Creese and his Cobra Conservative gang (R) – Johnny, Dutch, Tommy, and Jimmy, made their way to the ring. Creese and his group entered the ring and it appeared they were going to attack Daniel-San again. However, Creese sic’d his Cobra Cons on Valora.
Salinas, an independent with no real allies to come to her rescue, was obliterated by the four on one attack and then decked by a Crane Kick by Daniel-San that nearly took her head off. Unconscious on unable to defend herself, Daniel-San slapped on the Labell Lock and the referee called the match. However, Daniel-San refused to release the hold, even after Mrs. Miyagi pleaded with him to do so. Creese’s Cobra Cons then annihilated Mrs. Miyagi and left her in a crumpled heap in the ring.
Finally, Daniel-San left the ring with Creese and company to a chorus of boos and debris being hurled in his direction. To everyone’s great surprise, Leader of the PCW Executive Committee Harry Reid (D-NV) and Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) walked out with Democrat wrestler Kathryn Randall Collins.
Reid and Pelosi told the referee to ring the bell for a PCW Women’s title match. KRC rolled the unconscious Valora over and made the cover. Reid and Pelosi demanded that the referee make the 3 count. He does reluctantly and KRC is given the PCW Women’s Title belt as a result.
Tune in to PCW Extreme Political TV Monday night to see what ramifications there are from what went down tonight.
To recap:
K-Roy (R) w/Newt Gingrich (R-GA) defeated ‘American Citizen’ Kevin Scott (R) backed by ‘The Massachusetts Redblood’ Mitt Romney (R-MA), The Right Rev. Randy Richardson (R) w/Rick Santorum (R-PA), and Jim Schmidt (R) w/Ron Paul (R-TX).
PCW Champion Daniel-San (I) retained over PCW Women’s Champion Valora Salinas (I) with the Labell Lock. Daniel-San declared his allegiance with the Republicans after the match.

Americans love polyamory. Or not.
Speaking to Republican radio host Sean Hannity on Thursday, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin (R) claimed that her favored candidate for president, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, somehow stands to benefit by his second wife claiming that he asked her for an “open marriage.”
“They, thinking that by trotting out this old Gingrich divorce interview that’s old news — and it does feature a disgruntled ex, claiming that it would destroy his campaign — all it does, Sean, is incentivize conservatives and independents who are so sick of the politics of personal destruction, because it’s played so selectively by media, that their target, in this case Newt, he’s now going to soar even more,” Palin said.
“Because we know the game now, and we just won’t put up with it. So, good call, media. Way to go to covertly hype this, even Gingrich opponents. For being so brilliant, they sure are dumb.”
Palin, who often takes it upon herself to try and correct what she calls the “lamestream media,” said that ABC’s interview was “old,” when in fact it is the first interview ever conducted with Marianne Gingrich, who divorced the former House speaker in 1999 shortly after Gingrich and his fellow Republicans put to rest their years-long crusade against President Bill Clinton’s sexual infidelities.
On the campaign trail, Gingrich has often portrayed himself as a defender of “traditional marriage” and an opponent of equal rights for homosexuals. So has Palin. Both have pledged to support a constitutional amendment that forbids homosexuals from getting married, which they claim protects the “institution of marriage.”
The ABC News interview broadcast Thursday night revealed that Gingrich carried on an affair with his third wife, then his mistress, for six years while married to Marianne. Gingrich married Marianne in 1981 after divorcing his first wife, Jackie, while she was being treated for cancer. Their marriage lasted until Gingrich sought a divorce after Marianne was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.
Much like Palin, Gingrich’s only response to the scandal has been to blame the media. During Thursday night’s CNN debate, the former House speaker accused CNN host John King of engaging in “destructive, vicious” tactics meant to harm his campaign after he was asked to respond to his ex-wife’s allegations.
“Let me be quite clear: The story is false,” he said. “Every personal friend I had who knew us during that period says the story is false… I am tired of the elite media protecting Barack Obama by attacking Republicans!”
Palin and her husband both endorsed Gingrich before the interview aired.

Failed Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin on Wednesday urged current GOP frontrunner Mitt Romney to release his tax records and prove that he had created more than 100,000 jobs as the head of Bain Capital.
In an interview on Fox & Friends earlier this month, Romney said that he had “helped create over 100,000 new jobs” during his time as a business consultant.
Romney spokesman Eric Fehrnstrom later told The Washington Post that those figures included all the jobs created by companies that Bain had helped to grow, not necessarily during the period Romney worked at Bain.
“His campaign offered no definitive proof that Bain added more jobs than it eliminated while Romney headed the firm,” the Post‘s Josh Hicks wrote in November.
In recent days, a super PAC supporting former House Speaker Newt Gingrich released a film attacking Romney’s record at Bain, and Texas Gov. Rick Perry has called the venture capital firm “vutures.”
“I think what Gov. Perry is getting at is that Gov. Romney has claimed to have created 100,000 jobs at Bain and people are wanting to know, is there proof of that claim?” Palin told Fox News host Sean Hannity Wednesday. “And was it U.S. jobs created for United States citizens?”
“Nobody should be surprised that things about Bain Capital and maybe tax returns not being released yet and maybe some records not being as transparently provided as voters deserve to see right now, don’t be surprised that that’s all coming out today because it would come out as an October surprise had the GOP candidates not brought those out today,” she added.
“It’s kind of like some come-to-Jesus moments for some of these candidates, and that’s healthy and that’s good.”
Speaking to reporters at Cherokee Trikes & More in Greer, South Carolina Thursday, Romney dismissed criticism over his lack of transparency.
“Staples, Bright Horizons Children’s Centers, the Sports Authority, Steel Dynamics — those four alone added well over 100,000 jobs,” he explained. “And then the press has also reported on businesses that have lost employment, and that was a few thousand jobs that were lost.”
“I think anytime a job is lost, it’s a tragedy,” the candidate admitted. “For the family, for the individual that loses the job, it’s just devastating. And every time we invested in a business, it was to try to encourage that business to have ongoing life. The idea of making a short-term profit doesn’t really exist in business.”

MSNBC host Rachel Maddow on Wednesday night mocked Sarah Palin for criticizing President Obama’s Christmas cards.
The cards showed a picture of Bow, the Obama family’s dog, near a fireplace in a decorated room. Palin told Fox News that the cards were “odd” because they highlighted Obama’s dog rather than traditions like “family, faith and freedom.”
But Maddow pointed out that former Presidents George Bush and Ronald Reagan sent out Christmas cards that did not highlight Christmas as well. One of Bush’s Christmas cards included his dogs, too.
“Turns out almost every White House Christmas card features some picture of the White House,” Maddow remarked. “Of a room in the White House — or dogs.”
“Which is not a source of outrage to Fox when another president does it, but it is a source of outrage to Fox and Governor Palin when this president does it.”
She then went on to show pictures of the Christmas cards sent out by the Fox Business Network and Fox News, neither of which were very “Christmasy.”
