Read this fascinating article on someone who accidentally ended up at a PALIN-mccain Photo-Op.
Why is Sarah Palin so terrified of the media? What is she scared of? Obama went on Fox on O'Reilly's show. She can't even talk to an iPhone.
She's clearly taking a page out of Dick Cheney's VP book and hiding in an undisclosed location, refusing to answer to those she wants to "lead." She's probably already planning her war crimes, too.
Sarah, please. If you're really so courageous, talk to the media. Hillary has been doing it for years. She's fearless and you're not!

QUOTE:
The campaign also lashed out at the media and called for an end to questions about Palin's background and her family. Senior campaign adviser Steve Schmidt decried what he called a "faux media scandal designed to destroy the first female Republican nominee" for vice president.
"This nonsense is over," Schmidt declared in a written statement.
END QUOTE.
Total BS! While questions can be categorized into appropriate and not, we the American people have every right to ask about a potential VP's background and experience.
I'm particularly disturbed by the ties, however slight, to a secession movement, and the views on anti-abortion (even in cases of rape!)

Can you imagine if one of Obama's daughters were a pregnant teen? Ann Coulter would even skip her female hormone injections just for the chance to be the first to call the poor girl a crack whore.

Michelle Obama, who is not running for office, was criticized in the Media because she stated "for the first time in my adult lifetime, I am really proud of my country."
Sarah Palin, VP candidate, "was a member of the Alaskan Independence party (AIP) before becoming an elected Republican official, and recorded a video message for the AIP convention this year. The party's chief goal is securing Alaska a vote on seceding from the US, a goal that AIP leaders believe the state was denied before it became part of the US almost 50 years ago.
Yet it is the AIP's motto, "Alaska First, Alaska Always", that may cause the most trouble for McCain. The Republican's campaign slogan this year is "Country First".
(Thanks to my pal VM for pointing this out.)

"The candidates were pressed on their stances on abortion and were even asked what they would do if their own daughters were raped and became pregnant.
Palin said she would support abortion only if the mother's life was in danger. When it came to her daughter, she said, 'I would choose life.'"
So a woman is raped, but if the pregnancy is viable, no abortion permitted, no matter how soon after conception. No thanks, Ms. Palin!
