Transfer turmoil for Lukas Podolski, fear over the future of Franck Ribery - the Bundesliga might be on its winter break, but everyone is still talking about Bayern!
BILD talked to the club's chairman, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge (53).
BILD: The focus is on Ribery as the top player of the first part of the season. Can you really hold on to him?
Rummenigge: Ribery will stay with Bayern until at least June 30 2011. At least!
BILD: Can you promise us that here and now?
Rummenigge: Yes, I can promise that to all Bayern fans and friends of football, 100 per cent. No offer, no figure in the world can prevent us from that. In the new year we will even try in to extent his contract beyond 2011.
BILD: Does it make sense to hold onto Poldi until the summer?
Rummenigge: Yes, of course! He is our third striker, we still need him for all competitions. And I see a big chance for him in the next half a year.

Bastian Schweinsteiger was quite a sight at the Bayern Christmas party - he donned a long blonde wig to disguise himself as his girlfriend, Sarah Brandner!
The Bundesliga star was joined by his teammate at the Circus Krone for a crazy party held by Bayern and BILD's 'Ein Herz fuer Kinder' children's charity.
Some 500 kids were invited to join the fun, and saw Schweini clowning around disguised as his own partner!
Coach Jurgen Klinsmann also provoked laughs when he picked up some tips from American Indian chief Jimmi Falco.
Star Italian striker Luca Toni, meanwhile, was the only man brave enough to have knives thrown at him!
“I don’t think he knew what to expect,” Bayern's general manager Uli Hoeness said.
The Bayern team also brought along their own kids to join in the fun: Lucio came with wife Dione and their three children, Miroslav Klose proudly showed off twins Luan and Noah and Franck Ribery brought small daughter Hiziya.
Hoeness added: “We wanted to do something different and it was a wonderful evening. The goal was to establish closeness with the kids, and that was definitely the case.”
No wonder - a circus is always a huge hit with kids! And football players, for that matter...

Bayern continue Bundesliga fightback Luca Toni and Franck Ribery secure 2-1 win over Schalke
By Peter Wenzel, Felix Seidel and Christian Kitsch
For the fifth time in the row, Bayern Munich secured three Bundesliga points - and the champions now sit just one behind the leaders, ominously placed for their title rivals. But the 2-1 win over Schalke was far from simple, as Bayern were dominated after twice taking an early lead.
Uli Hoeness, general manager of the Bavarian side, was pleased with the result: "It’s hotting up again. We are completely back in the game. The whole land of Bavaria needs to come to the fore – in politics and in football."
It was Schalke, though, who dominated proceedings at the Veltins Arena in Gelsenkirchen, earning 18 corners to just one for their opponents. That dominance didn't translate into goals, however.
German football legend Franz Beckenbauer, commentating on TV, slammed the players for wasting so many corners: “I would make Schalke do a week of training as punishment, whoever was taking the corners so badly…"
Bayern, although largely outplayed, were much more clinical in front of goal - two first half shots on target resulted in two goals!
The first came after just three minutes. Some great work from Mark van Bommel allowed Luca Toni the chance to hit the opener.
It was the big Italian's first Bundesliga goal since September 13, when he netted in a 3-0 win in Cologne.
But it wasn't enough to knock Schalke out of their stride, and the hosts were back on level terms just two minutes later, when Rafinha went past Martin Demichelis down the right and set up Jefferson Farfan to squeeze the ball through Michael Rensing's legs for the equaliser. Schalke then pushed forward, but were rebuffed by Bayern, and the champions took the lead again in the 31st minute.
Franck Ribery played a delightful one-two with Ze Roberto before firing home from seven metres.

Bundesliga newcomers Hoffenheim stormed back to the top of the league with a display of attacking football that left their rivals dumbfounded.
The small club from the village of Hoffenheim, playing their first season in the Bundesliga, have had a dream start, similar to that of high-flying Hull City in the English Premier League. A backheel from Demba Ba, a cracker from Carlos Eduardo and a penalty from Vedad Ibisevic sealed a 3-1 victory over strugglers Bochumand - yet another three points for Hoffenheim to put them back on top of the table.
Bayern Munich's recovery is continuing after a woeful start to the season, and they were thankful for star man Franck Ribery who capped a powerful display with a goal to seal a 2-1 away win against Eintracht Frankfurt.
Martin Jol’s Hamburg, still smarting from their recent 3-0 defeat to Hoffenheim, also kept their title hopes alive with a 2-0 victory over Stuttgart thanks to a Piotr Trochowski penalty and a deflected goal from Joris Mathijsen to move within two points of the unlikely leaders. The game was marked by another angry outburst from Stuttgart keeper Jens Lehmann, who was furious that Jarolim had gone down too easily to win the spot kick.
The other game on Wednesday night ended 1-0 as Dortmund scraped an away win at Cologne.
Hoffenheim fans will love waking up this morning and seeing their club at the top of the league. The question is, can they stay the distance?

The fallout from the bitter Bundesliga derby match continued today when it was revealed Schalke captain Marcelo Bordon called referee Lutz Wagner a wh*re after his team threw away a three-goal lead against Borussia Dortmund.
Stunned journalists first heard the enraged Brazilian (32) yelled to them; “What a referee. Ask him what’s going on!” Then he twice yelling “puta”, the Portuguese word for wh*re.
Bordon was angered after the referee failed to give Alexander Frei offside when the Swiss striker made it 2-3, and also that Wagner awarded a dubious against Mladen Krstajic for handball which gave Dortmund the chance to snatch a point.
The defender now faces the threat of preliminary proceedings from the German Football Association, the DFB - as does his teammate Krstajic.
Bordon added: “In Germany the referees make such mistakes every week. At the end we were playing 9 against 14.”
Schalke squad were quick to show off when they were 3-0 up, and even their coach Rutten found his squad to be "arrogant".
Should Wagner even have refereed the match? He may be the oldest Bundesliga referee, having taken charge of games since 1994, but he is not considered one of the top five. A referee spokesman justified the decision, and said: “Wagner has over 150 Bundesliga games under his belt.”The fallout from the bitter Bundesliga derby match continued today when it was... more

Hamburg fans can show the ultimate loyalty to their team by showing their support AFTER they die. The club is officially opening its fan cemetery on Tuesday, perfect for the die hard HSV fan who wants eternal rest just yards from the pitch where their favourite players strut their stuff.
The cemetery, located directly by the Bundesliga club’s home stadium, has been in planning for three years and will be able to hold 300 to 500 graves. Hamburg fans contributed €20,000 to the building while the club put in €30,000 and the cemetery itself will cover the rest.
In addition to being close to the stadium, the fans also can choose to have tombstones or coffins with the Hamburg logo. They can even have the club hymn, ‘Hamburg, meine Perle’ ('Hamburg, my Pearl'), played at their funeral.
The first plot has already been sold. Club veteran Horst Everstein (79), a member of the board of directors, has worked for the club for 53 years and has already decided he wants to keep it close after he passes away.
