Former Freeland High School teacher Marcie L. Rousseau, charged with 21 counts of criminal sexual conduct with a student, is free on bond and scheduled for arraignment this afternoon in Midland County on eight similar counts.
Rousseau, 33, is charged with 15 counts of third-degree and six counts of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct in connection with sexual acts with a Freeland High School student between May 2009 and February 2010.

This generous teacher, who today admitted to doing great favors for a couple of teen boys, is facing 10 years for it.
The fact that she faces 10 years is a travesty. She has been in jail since her original arrest. Cut her loose with credit for time served and a warning to keep it legal from now on.
Boys need to keep their mouths shut and not assist the police in convicting those that help you out like that.

The Brooklyn high school janitor who caught two female language teachers in a state of conjugating bliss first thought the hot and heavy pair were students -- and that's why he alerted school officials, sources told The Post yesterday.
While the rest of James Madison HS was in the auditorium cheering on students as they performed in the annual "Sing" competition the night of Nov. 20, French teacher Cindy Mauro, 33, and Spanish teacher Alini Brito, 29, were brushing up on each other's foreign tongues, sources said.
The two instructors were undressed in a classroom by the time janitor Robert Colantuoni inadvertently walked in on the action, sources said.

Assuming they were students, he called for assistant principal Jodie Cohen, who brought an end to the affair at the Midwood school.
Cohen declined to comment yesterday.
Both teachers were suspended, and will be temporarily reassigned to a "rubber room" in Brooklyn to await their fate.
Mauro, who lives in Bay Ridge with two other women, recently went punk, dying her hair pink, getting several new tattoos, and wearing tight, low-cut clothing, neighbors said.
"She would have parties until 3 a.m. with mostly female guests," one neighbor said. "There would be people coming in at all hours making noise."
Students of the two teachers said they were shocked by the news, but had noticed a change in Mauro's behavior recently.

Julianna Christine Sauls, 38-year-old algebra teacher at Azle Christian Academy, was arrested in November 2008 for sexual assault of an 18-year-old student. In December same year, additional charges were filed against Sauls when another victim informed police about his relationship with the teacher.
Julianna Sauls pleaded guilty last week to two charges of improper relationship between an educator and a student with the understanding that she would be eligible for "shock probation" after serving six months of the 10-year prison term imposed by 43rd District Judge Don Chrestman. Unless she misbehaves in prison, Sauls will be returned to Parker County within six months and placed on probation for 10 years.
One of the cases was headed by Azle Police and the other was handled by the Parker County Sheriff’s Office. Officials said investigators from both agencies worked together to make the cases against Sauls.
An arrest affidavit stated Sauls performed oral sex on one of the students in October in his driveway and had “deviate sexual intercourse” with another student in the same month. Ranee S. Proper, 42, married mother with 3 children, has pleaded guilty to second-degree criminal sexual conduct before Oakland County Circuit Judge Edward Sosnick.
Under a plea agreement, five counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct -- which carries a mandatory prison term -- were dismissed. Proper, 42, could still face prison time, but Sosnick will have the option of giving her a lesser sentence under this plea. Proper will be sentenced June 3.
Proper was arrested in September 2008 and arraigned on felony sex charges on allegations that she had sex with two male students at her home and the high school.
A police investigation began after a parent brought the accusations to police in May 2008. Proper, a teacher in the Holly School District for four years, resigned June 25.

Emili Kay Daniels, 34-year-old biology from Cottonwood, Arizona, has been arrested on allegations of having a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old male student.
On March 4, 2009, the Yavapai County Sheriff's Office received information from an administrator at the American Heritage Academy alleging sexual misconduct between one of their teachers and a student.
The principal told detectives he tried to enter a classroom at the school building, but the door was locked. When he unlocked the door, he found Emili Daniels with a 17-year-old male student by the teacher desk, with student's pants around his knees, exposing his underwear.

Before the incident Rosanna Brown started to text messaging to teen male, posing as an attractive sexually active teen female. After days of messaging, Brown was able to lure boy into hotel where Brown has checked before. The room was dark, and boy believed he was having sex with a teenage girl. Kendra Hoffpauir, a 24-year-old teacher's aide at Vernon Middle School, has been charged by the police detectives of having improper relationship with a 15-year-old boy.

Investigators said the second arrest came after more victims came forward. After the first arrest at least three more students have come forward with similar allegations against Hoffpauir, and Hoffpauir was arrested again and charged with four counts of contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile, three counts of felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile, one count of indecent behavior with a juvenile and one count of oral sexual battery. A bond of $45,000 was set, and she was released after posting bond.
The second arrest involves two victims, ages 14 and 15.

Nina Urban, teacher at Lucas-Luray High School, has been arrested for allegedly engaging in sex with a male student. The student's parents called the sheriff's office on Jan. 20 and alleged that their son had been having a sexual relationship with Nina Urban, of Lucas.
After a nine-day investigation by the sheriff's office and the Kansas Bureau of Investigation, an arrest warrant was issued Thursday.

Amanda Louise Thompson, 28-year-old Australian teacher has been sentenced by Acting Judge Brian Devereaux to seven and one-half years in prison for engaging in a sexual relationship with a 14-year-old girl.
Prosecutor Todd Fuller said that Thompson took advantage of the girl while tutoring her in math and helping her with an eating disorder.
Thompson stood trial on 229 counts of indecently dealing with a child under 16 and in her care. In a four-day part-heard committal hearing, which started in November 2007, the Beenleigh Magistrate's Court was told Thompson was seen by witnesses hugging, kissing, fondling and having oral sex with the girl, then aged between 14 and 16, and plying her with liquor.
Mr Fuller said the girl started lying to her parents so she could sneak out and meet up with Thompson.
He said they would organise regular trysts in local parks, where they would engage in oral sex and mutual masturbation.
The court was told that on a number of occasions Thompson would also penetrate the girl with everyday items such as a lollipop and a necklace.
Mr Fuller said the girl's parents became suspicious of their relationship and asked them repeatedly to keep the bedroom door open when Thompson stayed over.

Victoria Chacon, a 27-year-old math teacher at Somerset Junior High School, has been arrested for allegedly sending nude pictures of herself to a 14-year-old boy. Chacon met the boy at church where she taught Sunday School.
The mother of the 14-year-old boy told police she found two love letters from Chacon to her son. Candra Dee Payton, A 32-year-old reading teacher at Seagraves Junior High, Payton, Texas, was arrested in March 2007 for allegedly having a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old male student.
Payton pleaded guilty to an improper relationship with a 15-year-old male student in accordance with an agreement with the prosecution.

Elizabeth Livesay, 26-year-old teacher at Carson Junior High School,has been arrested for allegedly engaging in sex with a 16-year-old girl. Livesay is charged with 11 counts of sexual conduct with a minor.
Police learned of the crime in late October by a counselor, but won't say if the counselor worked with Livesay or the girl. No information has been released where the numerous sexual acts took place or the exact nature of the conduct, bu the incidents did not happen on school grounds.

Tawni Wimberley, 29, a former computer/technology teacher at Flagstaff High School in Flagstaff, Arizona, has been sentenced to a suspended six month jail sentence, 100 hours of community service and supervised probation for three years.
Wimberley will be required to register as a sex offender for life. WHoops, another female sex offender.
In September 2008, 30-year-old Wimberley pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual conduct with a minor in accordance with a plea agreement.
Wimberley was indicted on sexual misconduct charges on March 12 after police conducted a 5 month long investigation into her alleged activities with several students. Police determined that one of Wimberley's partners was a 17 year old student, while the others were of legal age.
According to investigators, all of Wimberleys sexual liaisons occurred off campus except for one incident at the school during the summer of 2007.
The last charges are related to another alleged encounter last fall with a 16-year-old student who no longer attends the school. She was on a requested leave of absence during the alleged incident.

Rebecca Daniels, a 37-year-old teacher at Calumet High School, has been arrested charged with sexual assault and abuse for alleged sexual encounters with three high school students. Daniels faces charges of criminal sexual assault and aggravated criminal sexual abuse.
She allegedly had sex with two students and a former student of the school. One of the boys was 15, and the other two were 16, prosecutors said. The sexual contact allegedly occurred over the summer and ended Oct. 15.
Daniels reportedly came to the attention of authorities by way of complaints to both the police and the Department of Children and Family Services.
