A former Pakistani army commander said that the disclosure of classified documents by the whistleblower site of Wikileaks is a US plot to create rift among friendly and neighboring states.
“The US has a hand in this plot, and these reports (posted by the WikiLeaks website) are part of the US psychological warfare,” former Chief of the Staff of the Pakistani Army General Mirza Aslam Beg told FNA in Islamabad on Tuesday.
He stated that the US could prevent the leak of information if it wanted to do so, and warned that the real plot and conspiracy pursued by these reports will be unraveled in future.
Aslam Beg further reiterated that the CIA and Israel’s spy agency Mossad have launched efforts to weaken and destabilize Pakistan, and WikiLeaks reports are part of these efforts.
The remarks by the Pakistani figure came after US embassy cables posted by WikiLeaks website sparked hot reactions in the region.
In one cable, the WikiLeaks claimed, Saudi Arabia’s King Abdullah, a close ally of Pakistan, reportedly called Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari the main cause of his country’s woes.
Pakistani President’s office responded on Monday that the leaks were “no more than an attempt to create misperceptions between two important and brotherly Muslim countries”.

The long-awaited United Nations report on the assassination of former Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto does not answer the central question of who killed her, but does put its finger directly on what remains the most troubling part of Pakistan’s reality, the dominance of its military and intelligence services over civilian leaders.
The report makes repeated references to the unchecked power of the military and its intelligence wing, ISI. But Heraldo Munoz, chair of the Bhutto Commission of Inquiry, told reporters: "The investigation was severely hampered by intelligence agencies and other government officials, which impeded the search for the truth..."The long-awaited United Nations report on the assassination of former Pakistani Prime... more

The country's Supreme Court voted to end amnesty from corruption charges for the President and now there are calls for him ad his cabinet to step down. The anti-corruption agency is re-opening hundreds of cases. That agency is also barring some 248 people from leaving the country.
Pakistan's ambassador to the US ruled out a coup today. As did US General David Petraeus.
I haven't seen any reports of tanks in the streets, but this article from Canda's Globe and Mail, published a few weeks ago, argues that there are forces inside of Pakistan's military that are trying to overthrow the President in a slower, more quiet coup.
The men who wish to replace Mr. Zardari represent the religious right-wing backers of the Taliban and al-Qaeda, adding a new obstacle in Barack Obama's war effort in Afghanistan. A change of guard in Pakistan will also place Canadian troops at a higher risk of attack from a Taliban that will get unimpeded access to safe havens across the international border....The army's patience with Mr. Zardari ran out in October, when the U.S. Congress passed the Kerry-Lugar bill that promised billions in aid to Pakistan, but with a crucial caveat: The money would go through the channels of the civilian administration and if the military interfered with the democratic process or bullied the politicians and the judiciary, the Americans would halt all aid to the military.

People of Karachi and students mostly, greatly suffer from transportation problems. There is a great shortage of buses here.
People needs new and better buses in which they can travel comfortably not standing tightly next to each other, or sometimes sitting on the top of the buses as you can even see one overloaded bus in the last picture.
Government of Pakistan should care more about the issues and problems, its citizens are confronting. Like electricity, water, transportation etc.People of Karachi and students mostly, greatly suffer from transportation problems.... more

Rich Ass sons and daughters of Politicians
They are not from THE PEOPLE, they don't represent the real people from the nation.
How long we will be suffering their pressurized governments? One after another.
To run a government is not in the blood, believe me. Its all about talent and passion to do it.
These rich ass sons and daughters who go to the western universities only in order to get the particular education in Political science or law and then come back to claim their family share in the gevernment so that they can rip the wealth of these countries.
Thats what they do, every one is aware of it.
So you politicians, stop doing that.
People should get elect someone else. Some one who really deserve to be there, Some one who represents the people within the people.
Someone who has suffered the same problems as people of the country.
These rich sons and daughters of rich politicians do not spend even a day of life like poor people, so how can they understand the real problems, the average man is suffering.
They rich people even drink the most expensive mineral water and yet the people do not even have water to drink.
They eat the most expensive food on earth and yet their people have nothing to eat.
Even their horses standing in the stable eat the best and cleanest food but people and human beings are deprived of that.
They should be shameful.Rich Ass sons and daughters of Politicians

Dear world nations and donors,
When the basic life requirements of people would be fulfilled, only then people can relax and live a healthy and peaceful life.
So my request is to please come yourself to Pakistan and incest this money yourself in department of electricity or start projects of electricity, water, food and stuff like that.
So that people do not suffer these basic amenities anymore.
You can give what ever money to the government of Pakistan, but people do not see any improvement in their lives. And it has been happening for 60 years now.
People are suffering electricity shortages on every day basis, students cannot study, people can not run their electronic equipment, no lights, its just very bad situation.
People do not have sweet water to drink even in many areas in Karachi, the biggest city of Pakistan. How would that feel?
People have to buy water to drink. That is insane.
So please please please come Pakistan and incest that money in your presence, do not give that money to Pakistan's official.
People do not trust them completely, how can they? since they are not helping them anyway...................
Thanks
Sincerely,
People of PakistanDear world nations and donors,
