The Assassin’s Creed series has been a hit with gamers since the first title. The original game in the series was a smash hit and the best-selling new franchise of 2007. But despite the millions of copies sold, many gamers simply couldn’t get into the first game and were turned off by repetitive mission goals and pointless busy work.
I was one of those gamers who played the first game and opted not to bother with the sequel. But after checking out a pair of demos for Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood, I’ve been inspired to give the series another chance. So inspired, in fact, that I now want to play Assassin’s Creed 2 just to prepare for the arrival of Brotherhood. Out of all the games at E3, Brotherhood was easily one of the stand-out titles.

With the US release date for Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood already revealed within its E3 trailer (November 16th), Ubisoft have now confirmed that European gamers will be able to get their mitts on the not-quite-a-sequel that same week, on Nov. 19th. Thankfully enough the usual three day gap isn’t that much of a noticeable difference.

Tank Girl, a new breed of savvy punk anti-heroine with attitude and a mouth full of expletives. The comic centers on her misadventures with her boyfriend, Booga, a mutant kangaroo. The comic's style was heavily influenced by punk visual art, and strips were frequently deeply disorganized, anarchic, absurdist, and psychedelic. The strip features various elements with origins in surrealist techniques, fanzines, collage, cut-up technique, stream of consciousness, and metafiction, with very little regard or interest for conventional plot or committed narrative. http://www.makeahistory.com/index.php/section-blog/415-tank-girlTank Girl, a new breed of savvy punk anti-heroine with attitude and a mouth full of... more

A cinema projectionist (Kinski) becomes entangled in a dangerous liaison with a silver screen femme fatale (Kirschner). Spanning several cinematic styles and eras, the Secret Adventures of the Projectionist is a tribute to the cinema of yesteryear.
"An expert weaving of movie references, constructed with Pirandellian glee, done with great professionalism and flair. Visually sophisticated and playful, with great use of colour and texture, spinning the viewer into a kaleidoscope of responses. Performed with a nice sense of allusion. Very impressive."
