Actors Robert De Niro and Al Pacino sued a film distributor and watch company on Wednesday for Tutima watch advertisements tied to the 2008 film "Righteous Kill."
Both actors said in the lawsuit that a series of advertisements falsely suggested the two actors endorsed Tutima watches. The timing could not have been worse.....
London is currently gripped by the inquest into the shooting of Jean Charles de Menezes at Stockwell tube station on 22/07/05. I cycle past the memorial every monring and it was a truly horrific shooting by the Police.
The poster for the film Righteous Kill contains the tag line:
"There's nothing wrong with a little shooting as long as the right people get shot".
Should this poster be pulled immediately? Are the tube management guilty of insensitivity and chasing a fast buck?
