Asking such a child to keep a secret is often an exercise in frustration. It can be like
leaving the same child hungry and alone in a room with a chocolate bar and asking him not to eat it.
The damage may not be done in the telling of the secret so much as in the child's perception of your reaction to the telling. Your anger and disappointment and punishments are unwarranted. It wasn't fair to enlist the child in the first place.

For many years Andrew worked in construction. He married and the couple had four sons (who now range in age from 8-13). In his 40s he realized he would not be able to work construction for long and wanted to make a career change and become a Children's Book writer. He wrote and published one book (Amazon link below). His wife was not happy with this career change and sought divorce.
The divorce began in 2006 and almost immediately the Judge ordered "supervised visits" and Andrew could only see his four sons every other weekend, from 10am - 5pm, in a visit supervised by someone acceptable to his wife. There had been no type of threatening conduct on his part.
The divorce decree was issued in Nov of 2009 and no change was made to the visitation schedule or procedure. There was NO extra time for any vacations or holidays. Crystel Strelioff sentenced on four counts of felony child abduction.
The father said Crystel was sentenced to the maximum of three years on each count, but they run concurrently and in Illinois, where she is serving time, prisoners can be released after 50% of the sentence is served. Because the child abductor already served about six months of her sentence, she may be released in a year.
This case is shameful. The mother tricked protective parent organizations such as Justice for Children into spending their time and other resources on a sham case. The father underwent extensive testing voluntarily and the children did not give convincing accounts of any abuse by the father, according to court documents. From an early age, Anne was taught by her mother to fear her father. Behind his back, her mom warned that he was an unpredictable and dangerous; any time he'd invite her to do anything—a walk in the woods, a trip to the art store—she would craft an excuse not to go. "I was under the impression that he was crazy, that at any moment he could just pop and do something violent to hurt me," says Anne, who prefers that only her middle name be used to guard her family's privacy. Typical of a phenomenon some mental-health experts now label "parental alienation," her view of him became so negative, she says, that her mother persuaded her to lie during a custody hearing when the couple divorced. Then 14, she told the judge that her dad was physically abusive. Was he? "No," she says. "But I was convinced that he would [be]." After her mother won custody, Anne all but severed contact with her father for years.

If a growing faction of the mental-health community has its way, Anne's experience will one day soon be an actual diagnosis. The concept of parental alienation, which is highly controversial, is being described as one in which children strongly attach to one parent and reject the other in the false belief that he or she is bad or dangerous. "It's heartbreaking," says William Bernet, a child and adolescent psychiatrist and professor at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, "to have your 10-year-old suddenly, in a matter of weeks, go from loving you and hiking with you...to saying you're a horrible, ugly person." These aren't kids who simply prefer one parent over the other, he says. That's normal. These kids doggedly resist contact with a parent, sometimes permanently, out of an irrational hate or fear.
Bernet is leading an effort to add "parental alienation" to the next edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, the American Psychiatric Association's "bible" of diagnoses, scheduled for 2012. He and some 50 contributing authors from 10 countries will make their case in the American Journal of Family Therapy early next year. TOKYO, Japan (CNN) -- Had this parental abduction drama played out in the United States, Christopher Savoie might be re-united with his two little children, after snatching them back from an ex-wife who defied the law and ran off with them.
A Tennessee court awarded Christopher Savoie custody of his son, Isaac, and daughter, Rebecca.

Liam, an American citizen, was placed into the custody of an Italian orphanage this spring after his mother, Manuela McCarty, fled to her native Italy with the child in the middle of a custody dispute with Michael McCarty.

In response to the administration's recent heralding of of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, parents' groups and family rights advocates across the nation overwhelmed the phone lines of U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice. They shut down phone lines and crashed the voice mail system, announced Michael Ramey, Director of Communications & Research for parentalrights.org.
"Monday in a Harlem middle school, U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice told a group of 120 students that administration officials are actively discussing 'when and how it might be possible to join' (that is, ratify) the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC)," warned Mike Farris, President of parentalrights.org and Home School Legal Defense Association (HSLDA) Chairman.
"In my 30 years of political involvement, I have learned to recognize this as what is called a “trial balloon.” Like in World War I trench warfare, our opponents have 'sent up a balloon' to see if it will draw fire. If things remain quiet, they will proceed with their plans to push for ratification of the CRC in the U.S. Senate," Farris wrote, before he encouraged concerned parents to voice their opposition.
South Carolina Senator Jim DeMint recently introduced SJ Resolution 16, a companion bill to HJ Resolution 42, introduced by Rep. Pete Hoekstra on March 31, which would prevent international law from interfering with state laws on families and children. DeMint's amendment calls for parental rights to be explicitly protected in the Constitution as a fundamental and not just an implied right.
"Now we're finding that parental rights are being attacked by courts all over the country," DeMint said recently. "And as we look at where this country is going, particularly [regarding] more association with the United Nations and [consideration of] the U.N. Parental Alienation is a conscious and continual effort by one parent to severe the other parent's affectionate relationship with the child through bad-mouthing, threatening, bashing and brainwashing. An intense on-going alienation will cause the child to think that any affection or loyalty for victimised parent is considered betrayal to the alienating parent. The child experiences an enormous amount of fear and guilt for wanting to love that victimised parent. Psychologically, this has huge ramifications on the child in the long-term.

Parental Alienation Syndrome
(PAS) gained its well-known name in 1985. But few people know its history before then. Vocal opponents of the diagnostic term (and its formal description) frequently claim that PAS is nonexistent and that it was “invented” in 1985 by Dr. Richard Gardner. Are the naysayers correct?
The historical record reveals that they are not. Abundant evidence exists to demonstrate that the particular form of nastiness which we now call parental alienation has been around – and widely recognized – for a very long time. It just had different names before 1985.
Pre-1985 parental alienation cases reveal a varied terminology: “(an attempt to) alienate the affections of the child from other parent” (Ball case, 1827); “poisoning the minds of the children against her” (Guillot case, 1877); “secreted the children for the purpose of alienating their affections from her” (Hyland case, 1883); “husband and his family have exercised an undue influence over the boy and has inoculated (him) with hatred toward her, so that he is now not desirous of seeing her” (Carter case, 1904).
There are even pre-1985 pictures, snapped by courthouse news photographers and published for the world to see. The top photo above, from 1952, shows 9-year-old Marlene Matchan seated next to her maternal grandmother, hysterically crying and shouting at her alienated mother, “Get away from me!”
Los Angeles Judge William McKay just minutes before had admonished the grandmother (who had been looking after the girl following the mother’s divorce) with these harsh words: “You have brutally poisoned the child’s mind against your own daughter. If you do not desist from further interference I will see that the proper authorities investigate your activities.” Granny’s efforts to convince the judge that Marlene’s mom was a habitual drunk who had in the past never demonstrated any interest in the child simply backfired.
The shocking photographic evidence made this case a national news story. One Wisconsin paper ran the picture on the front page with the headline: “Child Tortured in Custody Case.”
In the end, Judge McKay was proved right. Once Marlene was removed from the influence of her toxic granny, she quickly adjusted and two weeks later told the court she was glad to be back with mom.

Many studies conclude modern western women are less happy than women of earlier generations, or in cultures with less feminist influence. hese analyses overlook the delicate topic that modern women are not happy being feminist whores. Gender equality aside, feminism is about portraying all women as the abused, trafficked, prostituted, exploited victems of all men. Under feminism, all married women are exploited whores, as are all single women in relationships with men regarded victemized whores being exploited and raped. Feminism causes women to go around competing with each other as to how abused and exploited they are.. bragging about domestic violence, and how many abusive husbands they have divorced. RadFem abuse and rape stories are about 95% FALSE, so anytime we hear a RadFem talking about domestic violence, abuse or rape, we can be pretty darn sure we are listening to a whore making up lies. It sucks for the 5% or so real victems of abuse or rape, because they have to carry around pictures and police reports to prove that thier story is true, and that they are not just a lying whore playing the feminist game.
In a feminist world all our wives, girlfreinds, mothers, daughters, sisters. etc.. are all abused, exploited, trafficked whores and prostitutes. Women with virtue or integrity or fidelity are irrelevant. A feminist whore that wants a divorce so her ex hubby will be forced to pay her so she can have multiple sex partners, has exactly the same legal standing in 'no fault' divorce as a wife of exacting fidelity or one that really was abused, mistreated or abandoned. No fault divorce takes no account of which party breaks the marriage contract nor which one is harmed by the breach.
Feminist whores could make a decent wife, if there were fewer incentives to divorce. A lowdown hooker whore leaves the john when he stops paying for sex or after she robs him. Feminist divorce courts are a scam with judges/lawyers as the 'pimps' who side with the whores to spit the cash. The constitution and laws of the United States purportedly support marriage and parental rights, but in reality these precepts are undermined by whores of Radical Feminism that pervades our courts. "Whore" is a word that evolved from the prehistoric Germanic word 'hraz' meaning "one who desires" to the later christainized meaning "adulterer." The feminine of this, 'hrn', became 'hre' in Old English, the ancestor of Modern English word 'whore'. Modern meanings include: 1) A prostitute. 2) A person considered sexually promiscuous. 3) A person considered as having compromised principles for personal gain. Promiscuous was long defined as lewd conduct or any sex outside of marriage, a similar meaning exists today for sex outside of a committed relationship. Whoredom was frequently the basis or grounds for a divorce, in accordance with biblical precepts. A very strict definintion of whore would be any sex outside of marriage, thus all prostitutes are whores, but not all whores prostitutes. An exceedingly strict view of prostitute would only exempt married persons who avail themselves to thier spouse with no conditions or restrictions, as many relationships exist where sex is often playfully bartered as a reward for something, such as a gift, cash, or mowing the lawn.. a practice even within marriage.
No fault divorce ignores grounds for divorce, so a woman seeking divorce for the desire to have sex outside of marriage (whoredom) has the same legal standing as an abandoned loyal, faithfu,l wife, or a woman who was abused, neglected or mistreated in a marriage. No fault divorce takes no account of which party violated the marriage contract, nor which party was injured by the breech of marriage contract. Radical feminism proclaims all women are the abused, exploited, coerced victims of all men, and in so doing has reduced all women to the status of trafficked whores and prostitutes, which is essentially the Radical Feminist definition of marriage. Radical Feminism diseminates propaganda to target and villify all men as abusers, with women a privildged victim class with special rights and benefits. This is exactly the same propaganda used by the Woman's Klan to justify slavery and often violent discrimination of blacks, who were portrayed as irresponsible, aggessive, hostile beasts, who basically needed to be beat down to protect 'white womanhood'.
The book Whores of the Court: The Fraud of Psychiatric Testimony and the Rape of American Justice, was written by MARGARET HAGEN, PhD. She is an expert in this field, and teaches Psychology, Criminal Justice and Forensic Psychology at Boston University. Her book provides an excellent analysis of venal ’whores’, usually feminists, who work for the courts and provide biased, fabricated, and false testimony.

Marriage represents a substantial risk to men. Investing in a family is likely the most substantial investment of time and effort a man can make. Women typically 'win' no-fault divorces, and walk away with everything including the house, the marital savings, the car, the children, and even his future earnings. Men prudently view marriage as a unilateral debt obligation that women may 'cash in' at any time, and leave men broke and distressed over the loss of children. Accumulation of marital assets such as home equity could be viewed as detrimental as it provides incentives for the wife to divorce. Renting, secret acounts, or concealment of finances may be viewed as a financial hedging strategy for divorce risk.
The decision to be a single custodial parent is largely a financial choice made by women who perceive a benefit from filing a divorce or declining a marriage. Marriage represents risk uncertainty to women, while government programs (Child Support Collections, ADF, etc) are a sure thing. The security of government programs is more attractive than the uncertainty of getting or staying married, they are a government divorce incentive system. In some jurisdictions, 80% or more of divorces are filed by women. This is opposite to feminist propaganda that portrays typical divorces as a 1950's era phenomenon of the husband running off with the cute young secretary. Women are divorcing to secure financial benefits for themselves. The U.S.C.B. reports (Pub. P60-230) that 83.1% of sole custodial parents are female, and this knowedge is the assurance to women that she can file with high confidence in the outcome.
