Toilet roll is no stranger to gimmicks with quilted and aloe vera varieties being common place on supermarket shelves, however a new cashmere toilet roll has hit new heights of luxury.
Unsurprisingly, upmarket supermarket chain Waitrose are the ones to start stocking this new product, however they have refused to comment on the exact levels of cashmere content.
The price for four rolls is quoted as £2.29, almost double that of your bog standard ones.

Recent sales are up 40 per cent — and up 25 per cent on a year ago.
Aldi’s UK corporate buyer Tony Baines said: “Our figures show our market share is rising fast.”
He added: “Footfall — the number of people through the door — is up 25 per cent. And half of our customers are ABC1, people who normally shop in Sainsbury’s and Waitrose, or the more affluent Tesco shopper.”
German-owned Aldi has just won the 2008 Retail Industry Award for Outstanding Achievement.
Mr Baines said: “Our fruit and vegetable sales are up 80 per cent year-on-year and sirloin steak and smoked salmon are performing strongly.” But he said it was a much trickier time for spending on non-food items.
