Pedro, a two-week old baby mule from County Durham, is believed to be one of the smallest mules ever born.
His owner, Maisey Watson said: "When he is fully grown, he will probably be no bigger than a labrador. He is the smallest mule in the country as far as we are aware, and maybe the world.
Pedro's mother, Mrs Pickles (HA!), only stands at about 30 inches tall herself.
"We knew he was going to be small when Mrs Pickles mated with Angus the donkey, because they are both small," continued Maisey. "But we were still shocked by just how small Pedro is. He is a lovely little fellow, and he is so tiny and light I can pick him up and give him a cuddle."
Mules - because I know you're wondering - are the offspring of a male donkey and female horse, and males are always infertile.

Donkey basketball games in America's Midwest have sparked outrage amongst animal rights groups.
The game, in which people mount the animals to shoot hoops, was invented in the 1930s as affordable Depression-era entertainment.
PETA, however, says the donkeys are mistreated by participants and handlers. They've had reports of donkeys getting punched and kicked by inexperienced riders, and the animals' backs are stressed by having to carry more than 45kg. They also said it's common for operators to withhold food and water so the donkeys don't poo and pee during games.
Some town and school districts have caved to the pressure and banned donkey basketball games, but others are stickin' to their guns.
"We're just a bunch of good ol' boys and farmers down here in rural Iowa, so we're not too worried about PETA. I'm more worried about the guys on the donkeys,' said one event organiser, revealing that her daughter Shelby had broken her collarbone after her donkey threw her a couple minutes into a game.

We shall see if he can hear you shouting your HeeHaws post op. No surfie, no donkey? No way. We are well prepared for this and are going with a few archived episodes and some donkey updates on how the surgery went last time. We will now be back in regular production and look forward to some deep winter hardcore surfing. Will Craig come out of retirement to save the show? Only a few episodes will tell.
Thanks for watching and leave us a note at http://surfdonkey.ca,

The head of the research center called police after corncobs began vanishing from a field. The police laid a trap for the corn thief and subsequently caught a local donkey red-handed.
Local media reported that the donkey's owner, a local farmer, then admitted to training the animal to steal corncobs.
A local judge sentenced the donkey to 24 hours in jail and fined the farmer 50 Egyptian pounds ($9.5).
